How a band could fire a drummer that insanely good is beyond me.
Because the rest of the band isn't as good.
@@alfredoacuna9794 I've thought about this too. I think its probably the reason he got fired, maybe the band felt he wasnt as good as they want him to be. Not saying that he's bad, and im not saying that the band is right about the decision, but I think that's just it.
@@alfredoacuna9794 Rick Allen lost an arm and he is still in Def Leppard.. only shitty bands like Slipknot and Lamb of God ditches their drummers like trash.

Jay, on behalf of all us maggots. We want to say thank you! You’ve shown such great passion, dedication for a band that you grew up and admire like the rest of us. You’ve honored not only the band, but to the late Joey & Paul. I just wished that the band would’ve had the courtesy to be forward with you. I hope one day you can return to them, because no one deserves carrying the torch than you.
Naw Corey and clown burned that bridge for me. It's funny people refer to themselves as maggots still when clearly slipknot ain't what it was in the early 00s. I think Jay did a good job concidering the shoes he had to fill but as far as slipknot goes... ill never buy another album or listen to their new trash. They showed their colors when the emailed Joey, and the really showed their true selves when they emailed Jay.
Have you seen Corey? He looks strung tf out prob why he bailed on his latest tour prob cuz he is.. once a junky scum bag always one.

Not sure if you’ll ever see this but as a former drummer myself I’m fairly confident that Joey would be proud of the job you did on this. Also think your old man would be as well. Jay got to big for Corey’s liking…Jay was probably the only guy that had nothing to do with the drama that Slipknot created for itself before Jay became their drummer
I'm never ever going to a Slipknot show again after the shit they pulled with Jay so these videos are a great reminder of what they at least used to be to me

The truth is the Slipknot camp has been a mess since Paul died, Joey got fired and died not long after that, Chris got fired and subsequently sought legal action against the band, but posting a bunch of Slipknot drum cams, your best bet is to work your ass off and show them exactly what they walked away from. I want to be cautious how I articulate myself here, as mental health isn't something to poke fun at and it's not something to make jabs at, but Corey is cancelling shows saying he's not ok, not at all. It sounds to me that this is an opportunity to move forward and elevate yourself into the next chapter of life.

i love corey taylor and slipknot in general but i think corey kinda ruined the song by the way he sang some of the lyrics. in his defence tho they would have had a big day with singing and head banging that he would have been tired af and this song was prob the last song they played for the night im not sure. but aside from that i think the singing in the actual song itself is better than the live version in my opinion and i think alot of other people can agree with me on that. its not just slipknot that do this too its almost every artist/band in general and it kinda annoys me by the fact artists spend days even months composing an album and in this case a song just to ruin it by singing the song in a live concert and messing up all the lyrics it makes no sense to me. in this video it just sounds like corey is specking gibberish.
