the jam are still red. i decided to let them the same color because it take about the same or more to do 4 jam and 4 inner door as it take to do the car ( about 20h )
yes yes and yes !, cutting corners is never a good idea, but ! if you have a black car, you can wrap a lot without removing panels. because even if you see a little black its no big deal, but in this case were the car was red.. you HAVE to remove absolutely everything.
Defo deservered a sub for that one mate absolutely stunning colour! Do you wrap the interior of the boot also so you dont see that red or did you just leave it the way it was :)
I did nothing on the interior since I was suppose to wrap it a few colors, about once a year. and doing the door jams and everything else takes about the same time or more, not worth if you are going for max 1 year with the wrap IMO. but yeah when you open the door you see a lot of red.. that's why black car rules ! I bought a Jetta Rline after that one in grey and I regretted it. Now my GLI 2024 is coming in a few days. and I got it in black so I can wrap it !
@weirDz- sick man! I'm just watching as many vids as I can and hoping to start practising soon! Think you could make another video wrapping the jetta as I think that was the most useful and helpful video I have seen 😊
But do you also cover the interior with vinyl or does it stay blue on the outside and the inside red in this case? Because it would look strange when opening the doors or is it also covered with vinyl on the inside? Sorry for my ignorance on the subject but I only see that you cover the outside with vinyl but not the inside or am I just mistaken?

@@bimboblancoycanelita8323 exactly ! is about the same time and a bit less vynile to do the jams. lets say you wrap a car for 3k, doing the jams ( depending on the car ( 2or 4 doors, complexity of said jams) is another 2-3k
Absolutely, you can definitely use a power washer on it! Just make sure not to get too close. I'd suggest staying about 2 feet away, but it also depends on how powerful the machine is.
Thanks for getting back to me, that's great news as I power wash the car every week. Its a powerful washer, took the paint off my gate by accident 🤣 here that looks an excellent job you did. Can't wait to get mine done now
we use heat so its easier to stretch, but there is a limit, if you stretch too much, the heat of the sun later on will activate the memory and this is were you get lifting.
not sure about the roll size i had, but its pretty easy to calculate, usually what i do is a bit less than the length of the car 3 time, a bit more if you are not use to wrap, a bit less if you plan on having the hood and/or the roof black, took about 16-18 hours, lot of that time was just removing everything from the care and putting it back, the front bumper and its inner plastic were the most time consuming.
weirDz- thanks for the tip. Was the rear bumper done in one piece? I feel like the license plate area would be a difficult area to wrap for a beginner that’s not used to doing inlays and such.
Great color. Wish the video caught the inner door jam area. Considering this both as a change up and a ppf.

How many square ft. of wrap did you use for the gti?
im going with 5x50... i have a mk7 2door
Great color and job!
Incredible job! So pro with doing everything
Good job i see so many people wrap and dont take parts apart and those parts end up lifting of bidy cuz no good adhesion

That is to say that it would be worth twice as much to do it completely as it really looks great and as I see it, it is correct.

Where did you get that carbon fiber wing?
How in gods name did you do the rear bumper, its the last part I need to do and ive tried it 3 times already and just cant get it
you need to inlay the side of the license plate first. the rest is pretty strait foward
Probably a silly question, take it can't be power washed? I'm thinking of getting my mine done soon and was just wondering. Liquid lava red 👌🏻

Gonna attempt to wrap my GTI the same color. How long did it take you to wrap the entire car, and how much feet of wrap did you use?
