The scooter actually looks better than imagined.
If they would produce a lighter model with Sherman-like stats in terms of range/speed I'd probably be willing to spend 4-5k on it.. mainly because the handlebar makes it the only legal alternative to EUCs in Germany.

Still needs two brakes. The only way forward I can see at the moment is to use two motors inside one wheel. The brakes don't need to operate independently though so that doesn't need to be changed. They also need to have rider detection and cutout in

Reminds me of that robot in the 80’s cartoon: M.A.S.K that turns into a one wheeled scooter.
Their couch and furniture looks cool! Scooters are artwork and not shred-worthy, but would still love to cruise Barcelona in one!
Nice! I have a MoCycle EUC that was made in Spain, so it's cool to see that their PEV market didn't die off
Unfortunately that is a very disappointing device. This is what happens when artists build a vehicle. It looks cool but doesn't do much else....

A one wheel with handle bars have been tried before and it doesn't work. Your body will go one way at the same time you pull the handle bars the other way, and then everything go to....
Just like the SuperRide.

Reminds me of Orange County Choppers, but with real artists doing the design.
Love the design and the fat tire... just lose the front fender and the handles ... keep it pure EUC, only the wheel with the cover and the seat on (it has an awesome vintage design like that).... and make it more powerful and longer range (at least on par with the Sherman)... and im sold.

It looks like having the handlebar just made it harder to ride. Instinctively you want to turn with the bars when your hands are on them, no handlebars no worries! EUC's are all I want to ride!

With that comfy seat and wide tire so could I see a market for that monowheel with a large battery as the comfort would make long rides a lot better.

It's nice but I need a little power incase of an emergency situation
The segway is the way for PEV to achieve speeds of more than 60 mph. Unfortunately, segway has stopped its development. For a Segway to achieve ranges of more than 200 km is also easy. It will make it more stable at high speeds. We need better safety gears but the personal airbags are available.

Yeah they are beautiful, but are they practical? I ride EUC so I can take it in the super marcet or to the office... in the office I can let it under my table without taking much place. I cant imagine putting one of these wheels under my table... but surely there are some people who would still buy it if the costs are low... all the best Adam and thanks for this great review ;-)

I can see huge potential in this kind of electric vehicle ,just make it more stable , 2500Watt motor and battery at least 1800Wh with range 60-70km
There are already rideable uniwheels available from China, the only work needed is to transplant the modified Vespa shells onto them and voila!

Im guessing the dynamics are only different from a 'normal' monowheel insofar as your butt is on the saddle; I imagine if you put more weight on your feet, you immediately get more control when youd need it.

Looks great but far too unstable, pull the body off and stick it on a sherman or similar.

Designers (and consumers!) really need to learn to let go of the idea that handlebars are necessary.
