- More or less a ramble and my personal thoughts regarding the fact that Clash Royale has declined significantly ever since I made my original "Clash Royale's Looming Death" video.
Apologies if this isn't up to scratch compared to my normal videos, usually I take more time to edit or master things correctly but upon seeing that Supercell added an emote that they blatantly STOLE from their recent community emote creation challenge, I just had to talk about it; thus why there might be some mumbling and monotony at times.

A little notice for y'all; I know that I spoke quite quickly inside of this video and I know it may be hard to keep up with me, I apologise for that as autism, a British accent alongside genuine fury don't mix well together but to compensate, I plan on uploading closed captions to this video within the next 48 hours and all following videos will have included captions as I am aware that my voice can be a little cumbersome to understand sometimes, especially to those who do not speak English as their first language!
I also accidentally associated Frank, Brawl Stars' lead developer, with Dani, one of the Clash Royale leads thanks to their close IRL ties to one another; that's a mistake on my behalf and I apologise for that!

If Legendaries were still valuable today, it would be even more expensive to max out. You don't want Legendaries to be more valuable, you want the hype factor around unlocking them. Huge difference

guys, please, the creator program doesn't have any rule that says "no criticism", literally every creator at this point said the reasons they don't go ham on the game is because there's no benefit in dogging on the game to an unparalleled degree that most of the fan base wants to see for their own satisfaction.

Adding a Disconnection Emote to an Online game reminds me of the Simpson's "Don't forget, you're here Forever".
It really sucks to live in a decade where we can potentially see Clash Royale go belly up. It did not have to be this way

@@harryvpn1462it’s not the idea that there’s a disconnection emote you begin with, it’s the fact that it was originally made for a competition to be put in the game and win a cash prize. Not only did they steal the work of someone else, but they also didn’t give the person their reward for getting their emote to be in the game like they were supposed to.
Man, am I glad I didn't try to pursue Clash Royale any longer than I did.
After playing consistently for 7 years I can confidently say I am done with this game. Uninstalled
What's the most frustrating there, is that game just keeps taking things from us, without giving something in exchange. When they were adding new cards once in a week, or so, it was progression nerf, but it was also new game experience (Especially when those cards were affecting meta, like Log or Goblin Gang). Both Clan Crown chest and Super Magical chest were removed from the game, and changed with improved things (Clan wars and Super Legendary chest). Level 14 was feeling as something important, cause of the Champions. But now, we get nothing FOR PLAYERS. Level 15 by himself adds nothing new in the game, Evolutions are not tied to level 15, you can in theory made Level 7-8 card evolved. Last time we got card was almost year ago - even evolutions are not excuse for that long time without new experience. I'm mentioning Evolutions that much, cause it feelss like a try to shield frustration of a players from getting scammed over and over by adding at least somehow interesting mechanic in the game (Which I honestly even like, but it's our only update of game experience)
As I mentioned, evolutions by themselves were an *amazing* update concept; like dynamic cards that change when you cycle them and potentially could have various random evolutions in the future? That by itself is so wonderful but it's the fact Supercell went the long march route and decided to add in level 15 which is completely unnecessary and will probably will be seen as a huge waste of time for the average player considering Supercell wants to cultivate an "elite group of enthusiastic individuals" who have elite cards and are rewarded for paying money/spending their lives withering away.
The evolution offer in bulgaria was 220 bulgarian leva(the bulgarian currency)which is quite alot of money
Card Evolutions is meant to be a great addition to Clash Royale, but the fact that some of the evolutions are currently broken makes it bad. The majority of CR community wants the evolutions to be nerfed to the ground, so they don't affect the meta a lot but the problem is it removes the purpose why Card Evolutions has been added in the first place.
As someone who started playing clash royale when levels got simplified(2018) its so sad to see a game i have played for this long is so sad

This is why we all love the Brawl Stars dev team.
Best part they advertise when people support bad updates (buying pass). by putting big banner in chat and they get exclusive gold name. Aka they get the exclusive kick out the clan as a additional perk of supporting bad updates.
The mighty greed can f up even the best of us.
The problem is, how do we get Supercell to listen up? Our protests haven't worked so far.
That's the confounding problem about this, I doubt Supercell will listen until top players begin withdrawing from the game and problem is, none of them seemingly wish to do that right now; I even mentioned inside of my video that Supercell engineered this update specifically to turn those into huge wallets into addicts whilst leaving the F2P players scattered to the winds.
I guess it's a matter of watching and waiting, but even so, Clash Royale has been ruining itself arguably since the beginning of 2019 and Tencent's investments into Supercell.

Put your credit card down. Boss made a video they made 12 million dollars last month on ios. Previous month was only 5 million. Doing all this made them 7 million in one month for just iPhone bro
I'm someone who hasn't played since 2018 and just putting my foot in the door of seeing what this game has become is quite something that I have no words for but I have and idea that worked for the game war thunder and that's to review bomb the living shit out of it

dude, Clash royale takes one step back and then three more step back. I wish it would go back to the normal because the pass royale was a cool update for new player and clash wars one was so fun. I loved the collection day and battle day, now its so hard to like the game. They ruin challenges, clan wars and now cards. I now never touch the game, bye bye you were good when it lasted. GG and I only watch it now due to it not being fun.
Honestly I wish we could all go back to 2016-2018 Clash Royale; the game was in its healthiest state and although Nostalgia is one commanding force, I honestly think the development team made better decisions like they did back then but from what I know, a lot changed in 2018 and it's why a good majority of the game has seen a further decline recently, which is sad but true. Hopefully Supercell and Clash Royale can pull it back but this is tempting me to make another video regarding Tencent, at least when I'm done with my other projects, as I see them as mostly responsible for the carnage being caused against Clash Royale (they invested in Clash Royale and Supercell directly around this time, too!)
@@NaidvarRambles I remember playing in 2016 and it was fun, new and fresh. I have never played anything like it and when I played with my friends, I was in love with it. I was free no ads and reasonable deals. I wish it was in 2016 or 2018 because it was so fun, everyone i talked to you, played the game. I wish there was a way to get to the old versions(like a apk) to play the game likes its 2018 or even 2016. Those were the days i tell you.
@@UserL306 Hopefully there's a renewed community effort to bring back some of the older API forks and client versions of Clash Royale kind of like how Fortnite has a similar project going on; hopefully this can be further expanded on but the community would be lucky to pull that off without getting into legal trouble.
As for now, my personal solution is going to be playing Boom Arena and pretending Supercell didn't butcher one of their most beloved games.

I hope they didnt so we can look play to the game that is burning and they can find water. all i can say is good luck to them and the devs and hope they change there stupid ways.
The thing that pisses me off even more is the fact CR team decided to change something that literally didn't even need a change. WHO in their right mind decided that we need to have gold rather than gems as rewards for completing masteries?? It was literally one of the few things to look forward to when completing it. L CR
Them changing masteries from gems to gold, with gold basically being useless now, was one of those updates designed specifically to screw over the F2P community and try and get them to become apart of the Pay2Win herd.
@@NaidvarRambles Honestly gems have gotten pretty useless recently where I dont even know where to spend them. At this point if your F2P I think the best method to lvl 15 is to max as many cards as possible. I've been playing from day one and only buy the passes (I get thats not true F2P) and cant find a use to gems. They just want you to pay with money for everything. At the very least it looks like new evos will be with the passes while everything else is broken, tho buying evo cards in the event tabs is very important now imo.
I would much rather deal with the random teammates in Brawl Stars for eternity than playing even a single game of Clash Royale.

I think the 2 most stupid things is first the removal of gems in masteries like nobody asked for it 💀 and the second one is like in march supercell announced that they planned to make level 15 and they asked to the community what they think about it absolutly everyone said that it was a bad idea but they put it in the game anyway so *WHY DID YOU ASK IN THE FIRST PLACE ?!?!?!*

I have spent around 50 dollars on Clash Royale over the lifetime of the game. One time recently (about 15$) because everyone I was versing on mid ladder had decided to play the credit card and level 15 a card or two. Level 15 is too difficult to obtain for an average player (whether free to play or not). And now with the insane monetization there is, my alt account in Spell Valley is versing level 9 RG and Firecraker cause of the recent packs they had in shop. Felt great when I still smoked them, but it just doesn’t feel right to be versing cards I won’t be able to unlock for a week or two.
I know that a lot of people may argue that time is your ally here and that people may be able to unlock everything regardless of the circumstances if they play the game a lot but we're living in a time during Clash Royale's history where people are more or less watching the game as it's fun to see others play it as opposed to people playing it themselves. I'm glad you only spent a bit of money though, rewarding Supercell for this borderline predatory behaviour shouldn't be an option.
I started playing in like the first 2 weeks of the games global launch. I remember feeling like a galaxy brain wizard when i put the scarmy in the front and the mini pekka in the back. I also remember playing a shit load of the limited 2v2 mode (i think it was only on the weekends idk). When i reached pekkas playhouse (arena 4 i believe) i stopped playing because i didnt want to lose trophies and felt like my cards were too weak. This was 2017-ish (maybe 2018). I havent really touched the game since, popping in every now and then (2019 and 2023) for a few days to see whats changed. It was weird seeing people in arena 5 not have legendaries, or the copious amounts new stuff like Crown tokens or whatever, the absence of the crown chest (which is the reason i alwayd grinded 2v2) or free chests and all that. Idk man, i just wish i could play that non-saturated clash royal agian
I don't intend to be rude, but I'm just wondering. Is this another one of those moments where the community gets outraged, but then proceed to spending hundreds of dollars regardless? Because it happened countless times already. People complain, get angry, and then spunk their money as if nothing happened. Just like (almost) every youtuber you mentioned at the start of this video (but, maybe because their career could be on the line if they don't?).
I'm too poor to spend money on Clash Royale so I'm not going to be doing that but it seems like the majority of the Pay2Win community is just joining along with it to capitalise on the hysteria before proceeding to drop a few hundred bucks on the game as if they didn't just say they weren't going to reward Supercell for this disgraceful activity. Also yes, it's a little sad seeing some UA-camrs protest and then spend money on the game but the majority of the Clash Royale community outside of the sphere that play the game just watch the content (such as O.J or B-Rads fanbase) and therefore in the long run, it's more profitable to drop money on the game for content reasons as that means they'll probably make back the money they spent through UA-cam profits lol

Play points aren't limited to super cell and work for multiple games, I buy google movies and use my points towards movies/shows.
I think it may apear on the outside from a Apple users stand point but its actually a pretty okay system for when you spend on the store. The only thing I dislike is they expire eventually so normally I go on a binge of a show I want to own (I dislike streaming services and subscriptions tbh)
I uninstalled after the update for losers, within minutes of discovering that casual modes (basically modes like 2v2, non-ladder or path of legends 1v1 etc.) didn't give rewards anymore. I had initially started planning to quit when level 15 was announced, saying to myself that at latest, I would exit the game then, but as mentioned earlier, I uninstalled earlier than planned and I have not looked back since, especially after finding Boom Arena, which is basically Clash Royale but without any monetization at all.

Your always matched up against whales that hard-counter you, either by lvl gap or by matchup

On the match making. My main deck for the last few months relies quite heavily on the elixir pump and has no big spell. I get to ultimate champion most seasons. But recently I was facing evolved firecracker earthquake 7 out of 10 matches. I switched deck and the had 3 spells. No more earthquake and no more firecracker for 20 battles. WTF they want me to spend more money

i never actually got into clash royale for more than a few weeks at a time mainly because I am so bad at it(yes, real skill issue) but it is sad to see the state that this mobile giant is at compared to what it used to be.
Your right about the early winning streak I tried to get back in the game I had a long winning streak from like 5700 to 6300 but once I got there every match I kept losing most matches. Your basically stuck untill you upgrade your cards and since that is nearly impossibe and the game is reliant on certain metas and decks that destroy yours. It creates an environment of inconsistently were some matches your helpless and other matches your deck dominates, which made me quit because in clash royale money and lucky matchups are more important than skill unless your in the top 1%. Your also often stuck with one deck that is maxed out and if any card in your deck is nerfed your basically screwed.
no matter what you guys do they won't make changes when there profit have doubled after lv15 update.
there was a reddit post that showed they made $12 million which compared to previous month of only $4 million I don't see any changes happening.
Yeah it's sad that this is turning more or less into a "discussion" than any form of protest as nothing really big is going to happen, this whole moment of protesting against Clash Royale will probably be lost to the winds of time. I'm probably going to make one more video on this at some point within the next week but then that'll be that as this has been going on for a month already and I don't want to milk this dry if it starts to fade into obscurity.
The fact they've made that much from this update is disgusting, but like I said near the conclusion of my video, fair play to Supercell for engineering one of the most toxic and disgraceful updates known to mankind to drive up their profit margins.

@@NaidvarRambles Yea I fully agree. But as you said in the video, I also can’t understand how the HELL brawl stars is earning way less then clash royale, despite them being so cash grabby. Like brawl stars has perfect little stories sprinkled in, the characters feel alive and you have fun with them most of the time! And they had LORE, which I always appreciate! And the way they make gameplay is amazing and I want to legit kiss the community managers for being so helpful towards the community and just don’t disrespect us ❤️. Clash royal is the lunar opposite of this and this game feels so stale and I don’t want to say the game is good because the state of the end of 2022 and early 2023 was just disappointing and the game lost so much of the appeal. They had characters, which you could make great lore with and make them feel alive. But nowadays they are just dumb little bits, who need to be ma- oh wait I meant elite level 15 to fight off the people in trophy road and POL, which isn’t fun anymore. And evolutions just made it way way WORSE. I am legit going to pray that either the brawl stars team picks up cr for a good bit during those times or the team gets fully REPLACED also including the community managers. I am legit tired of people getting mental breakdowns because drew and max use “data” to defend those, poorly halfassed, buggy and controversial updates of that and worst part is that they are right regrading of who is spending the dimes there. And let’s not also forget that they lied in our faces with the apology video after the backlash of the update of losers. So yea…. Let’s hope in August the things will be a better and that we can rise our bar of hope a bit higher.

i tried to boycott the damn game as a maxed lvl.14 but that only lasted like a week. am super hooked, got the premium monthly pass just to get more elite cards conversions and i am more hooked on the game than EVER which is hard to believe since i already spent hours on end on it.
i didnt buy the $100 deal but i did get the $10 for 1 shard i think well, after converting all my shit before the conversion for elites i still have already 6 elite lvl.15 cards and an elite royal which got me to 8k trophies lmao after being 6k trophies for the last 5 years!
think about it like this, they spend millions just like facebook to research how to get our attentions and keep it, how to get those tiny dopamine hits so were fucking drones at this point like that rat that dies touching the eletricity to get a dopamine hit and dies from starvation. yes, they dont give a single fuck about the "community".. its a cash grab and we are nothing but $$ bottom line lol

Listen, i still play the game every once in a while but ive only ever payed for a three dollar offer (which as a new player it was pretty valuable) not even ONE pass royale
“It’s not really about evolutions” I have to disagree there, it’s about both. Getting your king tower destroyed by a single firecracker and fast cycle giants isn’t fun to play against, regardless of if there’s a new level or not. I agree with you though that there was no reason for the new level other than greed.
I will admit I meant that more or less in the sense that evolutions by themselves seem like quite a tame idea but I agree that the balancing was poorly done, I mention that in the fact that Supercell took a really unbalanced posture and it's evident that evolutions are also a lingering problem as a good majority of current top ladder decks currently involve the evolved firecracker to some degree; plus the regular firecracker is currently guaranteed damage as it attacks your princess towers before they kill the firecracker, even when the firecracker is on stupidly low health.

Guys it pains me to watch video's like this, yet we as the players don't protest. B-rad said he was going to protest lvl 15 by not upgrading cards, but that only lasted a week at most.
For real stop complaining and do something. If you want to protest then we need to collectively agree to all uninstall the game for 1 month.
Alternatively, we all agree to not buy anything from the shop with your money for the next 3 battle passes.

Sadly this isn't going to solve anything, no players with big wallets that actually attract the interest of Supercell's deplorable marketing strategies actually care about any of this community rallying as this just means an excuse for them to get an edge over their opponents; the same way content creators see this update and instantly realise that there's a lot of exclusive footage to be unlocked if they choose to spend a mere chunk of what they probably make from UA-cam and the creator code support system; this video was just made to summarise what's going on so far, I'm not a huge UA-camr by any means and therefore I uninstalled this game ages ago as what Supercell is doing to this game is dreadful.
Even the global shutdown that Reddit orchestrated barely put a dent in Supercell's playercounts, it really does go to show that in the long term, the common player is meaningless yet that's not an excuse to not call out this behaviour.
I agree that there should be a rally or some form of movement against this but Supercell are more than happy with the outrage as they made a good eight million more than usual last month than they did the month prior.
Getting people of all demographics and incomes to unite on this one issue is basically a utopian expectation at this point, yet getting the word out there still counts for something and summarising it for those who are unfamiliar may mount pressure outside of protesting this.
As for me? I've done my part, I've raised awareness of this twice now, uninstalled the game the moment I heard about the update and for the most part have moved on with my life.
this game is officially dead. every update is secretly nerfing progression or doing it in plain sight. ruining all the casual and fun modes. CHARGING 1.5M GOLD/12,000 GEMS FOR A LVL 15 CARD WITHOUT SPEND MONEY!!! i used to be a full time party mode player, and now it takes 3 minutes to join a 2v2 match with a teammate that has 0.1 braincells.
Wait, party mode has been afflicted by a change as well? I never knew it was getting *that* bad but then again, party mode was also nerfed thanks to the fact that seasonal tokens are now basically worthless if you hoard them til the end of the season or forget to spend them... I should've mentioned this in the video but it was already growing quite long for a ramble!
@@NaidvarRambles they literally committed genocide with this game. they killed ALL the good things about it. ladder USED to be fun with it being at 4k and it resetting every season. THEY COMPLETELY REMOVED PARTY MODE AND ADDED MODES TO THE EVENTS TAB. THEY KILLED EVENTS, MEANING YOU DONT GET EMOTES, OR CHESTS, OR GOLD, OR ANYTHING BUT SEASON TOKENS. i’m sad to see the game i played for 7 years come to an end like this… it truly pains me…

I'm pretty sure it was added ages ago and long before the Clash Royale emote contest even started considering Brawl Stars and Clash Royale have differentiating art styles; I could be wrong but either way, I really hope the guy who originally made that emote actually got imbursed for it, at least the Clash Royale version!

I think the worst thing they did was to change all of the cards unocking trophy back then they get unlocked from where they belong now its litteraly put the legendaries in ahigher trophy randomize the rares AND PUT SKELETON ARMY ON ARENA 7
I can see why they did that. Before that, it was just making people use same cards over and over in low trophies, because Epic and Legendary cards were way stronger then other rarities with their lowest levels being 6 and 9. So, cause of that you was mainly seeing people using cards like X-Bow, Lava Hound without Ballon or other Air Troops, or Prince, Pekka and Golem in 1 deck, just because they had bigger level, then other cards by default. This change made at least more fair to players, since now it wasn't matter, if some were luckier, then others with bigger rarities, since when you get a chance to get Epic, you most likely have level 6-7 cards in deck, and 9-10th with Legendaries
@@MrKiller392 that kinda makes sense now but i wouldve still perefered the old ones. Not because im low trophy i am 5000 i already unlocked the cards. Because they kinda felt like they belonged to the arena. And i think unlocking a lvl9 miner in arena 4 didnt added anything unfair from the game almost no one had lvl 1or 3 cards in that arena. But its just my opinion it would be better if they added the cards in the arena they belong

Possibly but I still see that as super counterproductive, especially when Clash Mini has had mixed reactions from reviewers as well as content creators; it could end up being a game added to Supercell's graveyard but part of me doubts that... I'm just hoping they're not doing this to make Clash Mini seem like a utopia compared to Clash Royale's dystopian treatment.

Balance Change Idea Nerf The Credit Card
Sucks man. Still play cause I enjoy the game, but I did notice that, after I took a long break since the horrible Update for Losers, I was happier and found more time to do stuff. I returned as a casual FTP, though I've always been FTP, and intended to make the game a little thing I fiddle with every now and then. It's fine, but this update has become some of the worst greed I've ever seen, I'm not joking.
Every little thing CR does is repulsive, from the horrible money grabs, new broken and soulless mechanics, even the emote they give you for some money has twisted intention written all over it. The disconnection emote, as some have already said, was a community idea, and CR truly has the audacity to take it and force you to pay for it. Sickening really, and you can find more borderline wicked practices all throughout the game, and they show their faces so brightly.
I'm probably gonna call it quits. This game is the equivalent of a toxic friend, just makes me feel shit when I play thanks to all the horrible business choices, but I come back since I did have a bit of fun. Shedding this game for good, doubt CR is gonna get their shit together after all of this. Sad company, they aren't worth my money much less my time.
Yeah, Clash Royale has been silently abusing its reputation for gain and profit, if you look at the iOS profits, you will see how this repulsive game actually made more money throughout the entirety of June than it's previous three months combined; it's clear these people will one day regret the money they spent in exchange for that dopamine high but as for now, all the community can do is watch and wait... Which sucks but patience is key and living in the present whilst acknowledging the game sucks is a better stance than living in the past and constantly coming back to relive the nostalgia.

I play both Clash Royale and Brawl stars,and Man i cant even compare both games,brawl stars is mostly doing really good f2p friendly updates,and then i go to Clash Royale and i have to fight fucking insane Whales with every card level 15 or fucking firecracker,i quit it,i had enough,i will Just stick with brawl stars

Honestly, I can’t agree more with the unfair matchmaking point. Sometimes I will absolutely destroy opponents for like 10 games in a row and sometimes I get over levelled people with every counter possible 10 games in a row. It feels too fake to just be random.

How did clash royal get worse
Ludicrous updates targeted towards Pay2Win players that screw over Free2Play players, the update for losers, increasing the price of the Pass Royale and adding a useless Diamond Pass Royale that doesn't do much, oversaturating the offers inside of the shop, blatantly favouring people who would rather pay by hyperinflating the game's currencies that can be earned, nerfing chest drops, nerfing elite wildcards, nerfing regular wildcards, nerfing seasonal tokens, stealing community made emotes just to name a few of the many problems that have popped up recently thanks to Clash Royale's worsening management!
