-Taiyo and Hope Tech are definetly the most "homey", which is quite the difference to their Living Quarters that just look like someone took a cargo container and put the bare minimum in it. -Nova Galactic is a close second, but only because it lacks any "private facilities". -As for Demios and Stroud, they feel just cold and soulless. Especialy with the bed being more reminicent of a cheap coffee table that was pushed in a corner.
The problem with Hope tech captains quarters is it's a total mess. I don't like towels on the floor and papers strewn all over the table and crumpled blankets. Can't wait for some modder to "tidy" up the quarters.
It is so weird that the Nova Galactic has a galley but no bathroom. I think they could have fit the bathroom where that useless desk is (it doesn't even have a chair for it). I think if they had a sixth option with the Nova Galactic layout (+ a bathroom) but the lighting and the color scheme of the Hope Tech, that would be my personal favorite one.

@@Zayphar Well, I don't think they meant it had to be made by Nova. Just that it would have same layout with the Hope Tech color scheme. From a sixth company perhaps.
Taiyo has by far the best Captain's Quarter. The only thing I really dislike about it is the fact that the Map Table and the Conference Table disappear when you stick windows to that side of the hab. Can't wait for mods to fix that aggrevating oversight...
I just don't like how dirty it is. For that reason I prefer the Hopetech a bit between those two. All the Taiyo stuff has like, grease or dirt on the floor!
@@JB-xl2jcfor me Tayio is the worst because it is so filthy everywhere. I like Stroud or Deimos because they are generally better kept. I wish we could just edit the interior like we can with an outpost and make it like we want it.
@@ValosarXI think my favorite overall is Stroud, it looks clean and professional with relatively dim mood lighting for a relaxing stay after a hard day. The only thing is the bed looks way less comfy.
These should be renamed "Officer's Quarter". They should introduce proper 2x2 Captain Quarter that is actually fitting for a captain of a ship, not a pilot of a glorified plane in space.
They should introduce empty rooms and proper customisation support where it would be possible to put small walls and furniture. And the possibility to choose where doors and ladders should be. And also introduce staircases in addition to ladders.
@@yansakovich Staircase, elevators, multiple-storey habs are already in game. It's how those "big capital ships" are built, only that they're available to NPC, not you. @@mtr2192 But my point was exactly to make these parts available in ship builder. Another thing that I don't like about ship building is that there is only one way to get ship modules, to buy them. Al least two alternatives must be available: to craft modules from resources and to disassemble stolen ships to reuse some of their modules on other ships.
@@yansakovichI understand your point. I just pointed out how ridiculous it is because everything you want is already in game. They're just not available to you, to us players. Either Bethesda is lazy, or they're planning to give you those things at a premium, in the form of DLC or paid mods

I tried putting one of these on my ship and I couldn’t find any of my crew around the ship… they were ALL hanging out inside the quarters! I was so annoyed I got rid of it lol
Taiyo and Hope Tech's bathrooms really, really need an improvement. The sink is right above the toilet, meaning if you need to take a big ol' steaming space dump that you're going to have to really lean forward or contort yourself between a toilet and sink or have a sink pushing in your back/neck as you man the throne. Yes, yes, I know. It's a game and you can't even use the toilets, but it annoys me nonetheless.
I hope you keep up with this series as i find its a lot better focusing on one hab type then all at once. The Nova B is the clear winner here. To bad you have to lose the Nav console in order to have a better bedroom. If you have to have the Nav console then the way to go is Taiyo A.
The bathroom in the Taiyo & Hopetech just wasn’t well thought thru at all. The plastic cot in the Stroud/Diemos just makes no sense. The crew gets better bed than the captain and that’s crazy. You know I really like the taiyo one. It's got everything that I would personally put in my own Captain's quarters for roleplay. But that shower who designed that and how do we fire them? You want to use the toilet better be careful how you sit down or you're going to either get a concussion or break your neck. Hope you ain't playing a girl otherwise the toilet seat being up is your least concern. Oh hang on I got to wash my hands let me just straddle the toilet. Then started laughing maniacally as they created the bathroom knowing it's a chamber for mental torture.

Also HopeTech and Taiyo are the same except HopeTech is black and dark AF while Taiyo is white. Nova Galactic is the only unique, trying to emulate dated Nasa style.
my order is stroud -> deimos -> hopetech -> nova -> taiyo stroud lighting is really good on this one same layout but deimos is too bright hopetech is too dark but unless is better than taiyo nova always unique but this one is not my favor

Personally I like the Stroud Eckland. Good mood lighting, clean, decent personal shower and bathroom (this is a hard requirement for me, I don't like sharing toilets personally). The only downside is the bed looks hella uncomfy.
Taiyo! Actually a comfy looking bed and a clean look and feel!
@@scheballs7Not sure I agree with clean, for some reason all of the Taiyo habs have FILTHY floors and walls! Like grease stains or dirt or something. Otherwise they're very nice.
So is Deimos just Stroud/Eklund but with emo floors?
yep, overall Deimos is the same as Stroud but Deimos is white with black floors and stroud has white floors and grey walls with orange accents. Also HopeTech and Taiyo are the same except HopeTech is black and dark AF while Taiyo is white. Nova Galactic is the only unique, trying to emulate dated Nasa style.
my order is stroud -> deimos -> hopetech -> nova -> taiyo
stroud lighting is really good on this one same layout but deimos is too bright
hopetech is too dark but unless is better than taiyo
nova always unique but this one is not my favor
Stroud and deimos ship parts also fits very well together on builds. Interior i slightly like deimos more but both are so good looking. I hope they expand the ship building more. There so much potential.
There is no head in the Nova Galactic captain's quarters? Just hold it I guess.
Go out the window
The Captain’s Quarters Cruise Lines.😂😂
The bathrooms in the Taiyo and Hope Tech are disgusting, but they have better beds than Deimos and Stroud. I'll take the Deimos with the Taiyo bed and all will be well.
Deimos and Stroud = Felix Unger
Taiyo and Hope Tech = Oscar Madison lol
There is a lot of wasted space in the nova one
Captain quarters with no bathroom?! Developers obviously no military exp.
Some of the layouts are terrible yea, esp with the NPCS trying to navigate around or through a tight spot.
Your camera work is much too jumpy?!?!?! When you pan from port to starboard you need to slow down. Your video would give me a headache if I watched any more. Thus I will not subscribe!
Is this original ambient music from the game on the background?
Yea, it’s ambient. I figured music would be too distracting and annoying
