Great report Jason....nobody does it like this other than you. I do think the fires in Southern Cal are going to put a lot of pressure on the surrounding areas. There are very wealthy people with means there, many, many of them--not all of course. Prayers for a prompt return to normalcy, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a bumpy road.
Happy Friday and thanks Jason for another detailed and analytical video. Interesting to see the differences between counties and curious to see how the housing market fares in 2025 from both a price as well as inventory perspective. All the best!
Thanks Jason. Great analysis as usual. I wondering if the home price increases in San Mateo County are due to a few estates coming to the market. SM County has places like Atherton and other big money areas.
Yes, it certainly could be affected by a higher amount of more expensive homes that sold this Nov compared to Nov 2023. Thank you for your comment and happy Friday!
Hi Jason, thank you for the helpful analysis as always. Do you have any thoughts or resources on assessing environmental risks (as the tragic disaster in LA reminds us all) when looking to purchase a home?
I think the price for building houses will go up even more now since a lot of them burned down in LA county.

So sad to see the devastation and lost of life there.

Glad you enjoyed it and happy Friday! I'm curious what 2025 will look like as well.

It’s hard to find a house around $400k in Sacramento area except in bad area. For good area good school start at $6xxk
Santa Barbara is not in the Central Coast
Can you do a video on affects of fires of people/families buying newer homes that were unsold in other counties

The first thing that comes to mind are FEMA maps. I'll add a link to it in another comment in case UA-cam blocks it (just Google FEMA wildfire map)
hazards.fema.gov/nri/map
Policies have consequences
Thanks for your comment. What are you referring to?
