Yes I have done cotton yarn in the Addi you just have to be gentle and babysit it more. It tends to be thicker and separate easier making in catch in the needles.
Thank you for your video. That's a good idea. I have a little trouble getting the buttons to go on using yarn because a yarn needle won't go through most buttons and you can't thread a small needle with yarn..... but it looks good to have them put on with the yarn. Am I missing something?
I took notes on this , this is extremely helpful .
really cute and simple, yet I've never had to cut the waste yarn, i just pull it backwards then forwards and it pulls out super easy
Great video. I find using just one row of waste yarn works best for me.
Awesome! This is the best I've seen for these, so easy, thank you!
Super cute and easy! Thank you for sharing
Have you ever tried cotton yarns with the addi? I prefer my mug cozies to be cotton.

Hi!!! Have you ever made socks?!? If you have please make a video. I just ordered my small addi and I want to make socks with thinner yarn.
I have made socks once or twice. It is possible to make them just keep in mind you can not change the gauge of the stitch.
Great tutorial. Thank you very much sharing,
Thank you for making this video - great job! I was not able to access the link for the coffee cup template. Any suggestions?
It seems the link no longer works so here is another link I found :) www.thissoutherngirlcan.com/crochet/free-printable-cup-cozy-packaging-template

One way I do it is to use the tip of the needle to push the yarn through your button hole far enough so you can grab it and pull it out.
I'm new to knitting and the addi express, so forgive my question if it's stupid. Why do I have to use waste yarn?
Using waste yarn of a different color allows you to see the live stitches so you can pick them up with your knitting needles or crochet hook. :)
Whitney Betz Thank you.
@@rexlife6372 - so the waste yarn is just a stitch holder?
Love it...what yarn did you use?
I use a Mixture of worsted weight yarns. Mostly Hobby Lobby's I love this Yarn and Lion Brand Vanna's Choice Yarn
For some reason 15 rows on mine is a lot shorter than 15 rows for you. My yarn is similar in size. How does this happen?
It could be your tension. Try pulling your yarn out of the skein and loosen it so it runs easy through the machine.
Very cute, and practical.
What size yarn? Worsted Weight 4 or dk 3?
I used worsted weight 4
Very cute
What size do you make the template?
I just made it how it printed ..... but you can play around with sizes to see what works best for you :)
Thank you
Cute
Do these get printed on printer or cameo?
I printed them from my Hp printer on Cardstock
Thank you!
