- The Silverado High Country is the top trim from Chevrolet. On the outside of the 3500 HD you will discover a chrome style grill, LED lighting, fixed running boards, and multi-function tailgate. This truck is a quality investment that can do whatever you need it to do: haul materials in the bed, tow, work on the farm, evacuate storms safely, or simply go on vacation. It's a powerhouse that's luxurious and beautiful, which is no small feat. Chevy did well here!

Beautiful truck but if I owned one of these, I would have electric running boards, eliminate some chrome, aftermarket wheels, nothing over the top just keep it simple. Thank you Joe and Steven for the video and camera work!
A Custom with the value pack, Duramax is well equipped and under the skin the same for 65-66k before discounts. Pretty similar to what you described, great starting point or awesome as is👍

Back in the day (60's 70's) Chevrolet trucks big trim level was (Custom Deluxe) and then later in the 80's they had the (Silverado) trim ! Funny how the Z71 used to be an off road option pkge back in the early 2000 years but today the Z71 is its own trim level.

I have been a Ford Man all my life. I'm 59 yrs old. But Chevy and GM are really really good it's going to be a tough decision in a few months for me. My Brother is getting the Chevy 3500 in a couple days. I guess I have to see. I have a 2019 Ford 350 . Thank you for the video
Fun fact, if you get the max tow package, it turns it into a 3500 without being a 3500

I can see where, with a truck of that size, it would be really helpful to have a panoramic camera system. They put cameras all over inexpensive phones it would be nice if they would include at least a front facing camera on the lower trims of these large trucks.
I own one. I absolutely love the truck as a whole and am really proud to own it. However, there are some annoyances that I wish GM would take note of-
1) Bose should be embarrassed to have their name plate on that audio system. (Sound wise) I expected more from top of the line.
2) There is no numerical coolant temp readout. For a tow-pig, that is a must.
3) The seats are awfully stiff for being "luxury".

What's interesting is that Chevy hasn't mentioned anything about their 1500 series trucks for 2025, have they? This is the year for the redesign or the refresh for Silverado 1500? I hear they might being Hybrid power trains as well

I had 3 Silverado HDs in a row,,, 02,,08,, 2017, great trucks, but fuel economy is horrific on the gas models, bought a Tundra limited Crewmax, 6.5' bed, getting 18mpg on average now, was getting 11mpg, huge difference, if you dont need the payload or towing, do not get a Silverado HD 2500, 0r 3500,, unless your wealthy, then God bless.

Comparing a tundra to a 3/4 isn t close... two totally different layouts... I've had a 08,16 and 24 tundra and none of them get 18 mpg empty.... most people don't buy a 3/4 for mpg

Not true at all. I pull a 48 foot Cigarette Speedboat down to Miami quite often and she purrs like a kitten!! We do stop at Costco for 20 cases of Modelo on the way tho. ✌🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

This is such a sexy ass truck.
Thankfully GM and Chevy are still sticking a V8 in this full size truck , unlike Toyota, ditched all their V8s for.... i4 turbo/Hybrid and V6 turbo Hybrid🤮. And even though the new Toyota Models lack the V8s, their cars still cost a lot to buy.
