This is without doubt one of the coolest, best produced Suzuki offroad videos in history. So hyped for you and can't wait for more of these... congrats brother, truly epic
Thanks Timmy, being from Texas I was a bit snow machined out, but hey, I get it, different strokes. Ready for some four wheeling. I have a 1978 CJ5 but always liked the looks of the Samurai’s. They kinda look like a mini FJ40, which I also love.
If you still don’t have washer, sprayers a good cheap fix is one of those 20 ounce plastic water bottles with a squirt top. Just roll down your window squirt water at your windshield with the wipers on.
Hey Tim, looks like everybody's out and about this weekend. Am up on the Smith River again way up on top in my CRV RD 1 overland setup. More snow on the way! Love this Nomad life.....🌎🌞😎
I have an 86 samurai soft top and love the size I can go anywhere in it. Yours looks super nice; I'm going to Raptor Bed Liner mine yellow and black inside and out its key lime now
Hello, warm greetings from the province of Pontassieve in Florence, Italy. I am the respected owner of a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a m13a 1.3 LT petrol engine, petrol, completely original, year 2001. It is indeed completely original, which I often drive on country roads and forest roads, and with the appropriate mud tires it will also do me good. The Suzuki Jimmy 4x4, although completely original, I see it is in its natural habitat when I approach rural farm roads and forest roads that are used by logging companies to transport wood in logging trucks.
I think Samurais would be fun to build and drive, they are so light and small. I had a Land Cruiser with 33s and a 283 Chevy but no lockers, lots of fun. Then an 85 Toyota pick up with 33s and a TRD rear diff., lots of fun to, did put 488s in it and was about 10% under stock, lots of fun too! Now all I do is remember the good old days and go along with you, thanks.
Just picked up a 1988 Sammy. My second one. I had one brand new in 1986. This 1988 has the big tires, already lifted, looks great, great shape, but drives like hell on the road.
never had one of the Suzuki Samurai but i did have a Suzuki Sidekick just like the white one that your buddy is driving and i LOVED IT!!....I couldn't get the damn thing stuck anywhere and/or it just wouldn't DIE.....great vehicle!
I really appreciate these Suzuki videos also! As I used to have two samurai’s. But neither of them were that jacked up or that nice, one of them was white It had a little lift and a little bit bigger tires and it was fun off-road. Until I swamped it in the pond behind my house , So I had to use My Ford Ranger to pull it out, but I had to use a come along Because I got the Ford Ranger stuck also. But the come along snapped and hit me in the knee that turned out to be a very bad day/summer. But eventually got the samuri out and eventually got the water out of the cylinders, and she fired backed up like a champ!
Made that run in my Sami (87) many times! Working down in the lower 48 so it was great to watch your video. Bought another Sami down here in Georgia (88.5) hoping to bring it home with me...soon...
I didn't see you add breathers to your Sami. If you did good, if not you should change diff/trans/tcase fluid after all this water. Sami's are notorious for sucking water with stock breathers. I used to get milkshake outta mine everytime I did stuff like this before putting on breathers.
Great video as always Tim, was good to see a Tracker out there. I worked at the factory here in Canada that built those little tanks, they are a blast! Keep up the great content, and as always, Cheers from CANADA.
Oh man having owned an 87 soft top in iowa, the Samurai is an excellent vehicle. Except for the heater, which was woefully inadequate for the entire vehicle. Glad he had a half cab. Put a tracker engine in mine and it made a world of difference.
@@TruckHouseLife all of your adventures are outstanding..all of your videos are very nicely done .hope to meet you someday in person.our daughter and her significant other just moved up to homer to buy cabins to airbnb.once canada opens up we will on our way to help them spruce up the cabins and do some touristy stuff..have a great day and live everyday with you foot to the floor for every adventure you can do..
Looks like a blast. That Sammi is about as clean as you can find them. But you really should cut and cover those bolts in your headline before you perforate your skull on them.
Well that made my back hurt just watching you lol. Beadlock rims and 6psi will make it a softer ride on coil springs . I just travel slow in my zuk ,my back is fubar too
Awesome on the trail rig if I had my jeep Here in Happy Valley Alaska I would consider on staying here I can now see how you love this place my every day view I wake up to is the ring of fire. And 1.8 th of mile away from the Happy valley falls
Another awesome video! I bring ziplock bags to pack snow or river water in for my back, when off roading, strap it to you with an ace bandage or ratchet strap 😂
Went there on our 4 wheelers last week, quite a trip, I bet your back was killed , its a rough trail and your suspension is probably not soft. Almost lost a 4 wheeler crossing Jim Creek
This was totally freakin awesome. Got me all fired up for the day. We are preparing for a 1 month trip from Eastern PA. to Yellowstone, Moab and Grand Canyon. Can't wait. Thanks for the inspiration! You rock!
Man, you’re always taking it to adventure level, I am impressed! Saw your link on a UA-cam post, didn’t even know you had merch, got a couple hoodies for the wife and I to help support your endeavors. We used to do some crazy stuff when we were younger. I followed her over a dam once on a kayak just to make sure she was alright. 😆
Great video!! I lived in AK in the 90s and wheeler that trail a lot. I have an aluminum dash kinda like yours on my built Grand Cherokee and the reflection was so bad on the windshield I had to paint it flat black. Dig the Sammi
Awesome adventures Timmy!! I love it!! I watch your videos everyday as much as i can and they have helped me soooo much with my anxiety. I feel so relaxed and happy watching your content, itching for more. The scenery alone is just so beautiful. I really want to come up and viaot when you get your newest project built for sure! Can i go ahead and book!?! 😊
Just found your channel with this video. Nice chilled video. Would have loved to watch many more hours of Samurai adventures. just sas you sold it, oh well.
I've watched your videos a few times over the past year. I especially like Your Samurai content. Thought I'd comment after seeing this video. It'd be cool to wheel with you (and Kevin) my Samurai isn't white (LOL) but mostly street legal. I hope to have it on the road again this winter. Thanks for the content!
I am absolutely loving this video, incredible stuff thank you for sharing, but one huge detail about the story when you were 16, was the bus driver driving a bus or a personal vehicle? feel like the difference would be you alive right now but I thought I'd ask lol.
I want to get a tin top Samurai 1.0 but its like 7 hours away. Will it make it back home once I buy it? We are planning to take the highway back home..
Exactly where is the trailhead you went in on? Is that the one past the normal Jim creek park parking lot or somehow off the old Glenn? Wish I been able to make that run with you. Last time I was there the ice on the lake at the glacier was a lot bigger. I parked on one of them! Anyway I’ll catch up with you out there eventually.
Were you able to traverse from the Knik to Girdwood? I've looked at that on a map and it seems possible. Like a bigger E traverse. Either way, awesome that you tried.
This is without doubt one of the coolest, best produced Suzuki offroad videos in history. So hyped for you and can't wait for more of these... congrats brother, truly epic
Cheers man!

Check your door sticker. Sammy only wants 25psi on the road & Will be way smoother & less bouncy with it.
Thanks for another fun video.
I love the fact that you are a driving instructor as your job.
Zukis for life! Bad ass zuki buggy rig !! Best off road rig in the world ! I've got a a white 1988 suzuki samurai with a white fiberglass hard top
If you still don’t have washer, sprayers a good cheap fix is one of those 20 ounce plastic water bottles with a squirt top. Just roll down your window squirt water at your windshield with the wipers on.
My sister had a Suzuki Samurai. That thing could go anywhere.
Morning Tim! Love Mom 💃🏻💜
Morning mom!
That’s my back yard! We love fat tire biking and XC skiing out to the Knik Glacier. A truly incredible place.

Nice video thanks for doing it
Yanking with a winch cable will break the winch ! I use a 30 foot braided rope that stretches. Fun trip!
It was bound stuck/pinched wrap so he was trying to jerk it loose lol.

Love your videos brotha. Keep up the good work. Also your intro music is so dope, I’ll catch myself humming that tune throughout the day all the time

You guys should have a Rugged Radio system so you can talk with each other. You can use it on your sleds too if you get the walkies.
Looks like a blast. That Sammi is about as clean as you can find them. But you really should cut and cover those bolts in your headline before you perforate your skull on them.
lol
Man, as another fellow Texan, I do enough wheeling for myself I absolutely DIG the snowmobiling and it’s a definite goal for me to get in that game.
Do it!
Eu tenho um samurai 92 teto alto, e um samurai mesmo. Não perde nada pra esses jeepes novos.
That was badass!
Oh my oh my...you are getting wilder and wilder...😵😵😵...and at 10:30 pm 🤪🤪
Well that made my back hurt just watching you lol. Beadlock rims and 6psi will make it a softer ride on coil springs . I just travel slow in my zuk ,my back is fubar too
Yup my back is still out from that ride lol.
Ohh wow. My home town area. Been there a lot. Fun times
Now thats a nice trail. One heck of a video dude
TIMMY GOOD MORNING TO YA from the North east!!
Great video !
Live it…
I didn’t know the samu till you buy one, such a sweet car, uncommon in Europe !
That was a Nice video Timmy ✌🏼
you can get the Jimny in the EU, right? Unfortunately not in the USofA :(

GR8 tunes too…
Nice! Yup my back was out lol.
Holy moly
Don't bounce up and catch your head on those rack bolts poking down inside like little daggers!
I never post safety comments but my cranium is having sympathy pains!
There’s been a lot of vehicles and utv’s swamped in Jim’s creek. I don’t like riding out there the silt is bad on breaks and bearing 🤷🏼♂️
Yup I drowned a Honda Rancher in there back in 2007, had to pull the plugs and shoot water out of the engine lol.
That was great man I would love to see that again hell ya.
I once used my 1991 Wrangler to pull a State Snowplow truck out in Bent Mountain, VA...then got stuck myself and they pulled me out. True story.
nice haha
Great Samurai! Love that dash! Use to have a Suzuki LJ80 with soft top + soft top doors too
Cool:)
This was totally freakin awesome. Got me all fired up for the day. We are preparing for a 1 month trip from Eastern PA. to Yellowstone, Moab and Grand Canyon. Can't wait. Thanks for the inspiration! You rock!
Nice man! Enjoy the road trip!
Don't worry about not having signals, just put some BMW badges on it!
lol
It was cool seeing your version and Admins version of this trip

Makes me want to restore my 87 Samurai thanks!
You know the best recovery tool for a group of Suzukis is a buddy in a jeep…😆
lol Jeep is a 4 letter word in the Samurai world.
Towing backwards is a good way too f up your diff.
rad
