- We visited Knott's Berry Farm on June 15, 2024. The launch track for Montezooma's Revenge is now surrounded by scaffolding! Work in Camp Snoopy is coming along nicely with the opening of Snoopy's Tenderpaw Twister Coaster and other rides in a couple weeks.

On another vlog I saw last week, someone who works at KBF mentioned track and parts for Monte, have been ordered and he said that the cars will be coming first If I read it correctly. ❤ you and keep safe Chris.

Who doesn't know about the second entrance? I was at KBF for several hours in 2019, and a few days last year... I live in Florida, and I knew about it. I didn't use it last year because I stayed at the hotel, but I drove past it. I'm really surprised they are skipping the theater, I wonder if it's because it would delay the project more.
I'm sure there are many who don't know about the Western Entrance because, unless you're forced to use it, you could easily walk right past it whilst inside the park. I didnt initially know about it when I first came to Knott's as a kid. Anyway, the theater ... Yeah ... I'm sure they ran out of money. The costs of everything has gone up. Hopefully it eventually comes.
I'll be pleasantly surprised if Montezooma ever opens again in any form.

Absolutely. And especially if it has a different launch sequence. In the initial announcement, it mentioned that it could start off backwards or forward.

Yeah, it's busy. But their "Ghost Town Alive" and "Summer Nights" events make it worth it.
It cracks me up every single time you look into the Montezooma glory hole...

Alllegedly Taziker, the company that is doing the track replacement for The Big One, will be refabricating the track

Zamperla still wouldn't be bad, it was Kumbak who torched & destroyed the track pieces including the loop. Kumbak was only supposed to remove the Flywheel only!

Yeah, same. I loved that it was a second steam engine train in the park. I'm curious why it needed replacement (along with all the track). Feels like the money spent on it could have been better used for the theater which got cancelled.
As much as I understand going electric, I wish they would’ve left the train as a steam engine. Sometimes keeping with the times takes away from the originality and nostalgia.
I agree completely! I loved the look, sound and smell of the steam engine!
