Congrats Barbara. You keep going. As a Naturopath I can tell you not all salt is equal. Good mineralized salt such as celtic or Redmond's ancient salt is beneficial to your cellular health. Eating good salt is necessary, however, table salt is stripped and laden with heavy metals. So just switch your salt to one with minerals and have your salt. Their is a difference in salt and how it affects your body and health.

Congrats with your fitness journey you are looking great even your skin in glowing. Now a tip for the glitter glue - I buy the large size and then decant into small 2 inch squeezy bottle with metal tip. I find these don't block up and I just refill from the big bottle when I need it. The fact that they are squeezy means that you can push out the glue if is starts to get a bit thick.
You're doing a great job with your health, good for you! I've always been active in sports ever since I was a little girl, with swimming and gymnastics on a higher level, so I never had to worry about not feeling good in my body, or mind, or both, because they are related,of course. There have been times when I was feeling less confident or wasn't that happy with some things healthwise, but never anything serious. And then, about 14 years ago, (after multiple miscarriages which made me doubt my body a little though), I had my son (I was 39) and my body changed. And it made me even more happy! I fed my baby with my body, it kept me strong and healthy during my pregnancy and then my c-section and afterwards during my recovery. I had never realised how truly grateful I should be for my body. It is a work of art really. 😉 I am still active nowadays, I have a job in caregiving, I never ever sit down at work, haha! Although I never would do fitness, I genuinely dislike the fitness centre, I love so many other activities, together with my partner, or my son. We love to swim, we love biking, hiking, dancing, playing tennis, etc. So that's what I do. Anyway, you're doing great, keep it up!

I don't know if it's just me, but you sounded more relaxed, not stressed, your voice was calm.....And of course you're right: our body rewards us when we respect it and treat it nicely. So, today's lessons are: 1. take care of your body and 2. that bulb pin finally accepted its place and didn't try once to escape this time around. It has helped me very much with swelling and inflammation but it’s a weird and very restrictive diet. I have many health issues and am so pleased to have you in my life to help keep it fun!❤

Barbara, you have such a healthy glow about you. I love all the choices that are you are making with your diet. My husband and I had to change our diet because of his health. To my amazement, he was able to lose 240 lbs in 1 year. We did very similar things as you are, but our main protein is Seafood. We cut down on salt, grew an organic vegetable garden and fermented sauerkraut. I lost 45 lb myself. We both are amazed how good we feel in our bodies now. Thank you for sharing your fitness program. I hope more of us can reach our goals. I am a junk Journal addict as well. Loving life!q

Good job keeping up training. I too kept up my pilate mat workouts and walking. In my younger years: aerobics and weight lifting. I'm 67 now, so I have changed my routines, but have always incorporated fitness daily! That full planner is gorgeous. And I CAN NOT wait to see your decemerember journal flip through!!!😊❤😊BTW, your bestie is so fortunate to have you in her life!
Congratulations on continuing your fitness and health journey. I’ve had the same problem with my art glitter glue. It was driving me crazy. I took the top off and thoroughly cleaned it. Still not coming out very well. So I decided to add a few drops of distilled water and shook thoroughly. Now it’s coming out just fine. I think it was just getting too thick for some reason. Hope that helps.

I have been melting half a bar of dark chocolate and adding in some banana chips which i then spread out on kitchen paper till the chocolate has cooled down. I put them in a container and have a small handful as a dessert after my lunch…or as a snack. Obviously the banana chips are carbs and natural sugars (but i only have a small amount daily) and the dark chocolate is just a little bit more palatable this way (for me anyway 😊)
I can’t believe you lost 37 lbs. because you looked great! I also am eating healthier so I love that you are sharing this part of your life as well. I do Tai chi for balance and arthritis prevention which I LOVE!🥰

Over the past three months, my hormones, ACF-1, growth levels, and thyroid function have all been normal. This follows a three-year journey under the care of an endocrinologist, with consultations every three months. Currently, I am managing insulin-dependent diabetes. I feel hesitant to share my medical journey and the weight gain I’ve experienced, but now I know it's time to take action. In the past, Weight Watchers has been helpful for my fitness, and I need to find a solution that works for me. This is my challenge. ❤

I started listening to it And at 3AM had to force myself to turn it off because I was so hooked And now I am afraid to restart it because I don't think I'll be able to put it down again.

I am trying to eat as healthy as I can, and do some yoga and an hours walking a day. And I made my step goal by lunchtime again today!
Oh honey, you and your well-deserved confidence are on fire!!🔥🫶😁 I don't know what you had in mind for the zucchini, but have you tried it raw? It doesn't have a strong flavor, so it takes on whatever you put on it, but it adds an interesting texture. Sort of tender/crisp. Very small yellow squash are very similar. A favorite snack of mine is to cut them in long, wedge strips and dip them in ranch. Not the healthiest, I know 🙄. But it's also great cut up in a salad. Also, funny how most people either love or hate cilantro and there seem to be very few in between, or at least that has been my experience. That said, I am the one who could take it or leave it 🙋♀️lol. Except for in salsa, it's gotta be in salsa. Otherwise 🤷♀️ meh 😂

I don't know what you had in mind for the zucchini, but have you tried it raw? It doesn't have a strong flavor, so it takes on whatever you put on it, but it adds an interesting texture. Sort of tender/crisp. Very small yellow squash are very similar. A favorite snack of mine is to cut them in long, wedge strips and dip them in ranch. Not the healthiest, I know 🙄. But it's also great cut up in a salad.
Also, funny how most people either love or hate cilantro and there seem to be very few in between, or at least that has been my experience. That said, I am the one who could take it or leave it 🙋♀️lol. Except for in salsa, it's gotta be in salsa. Otherwise 🤷♀️ meh 😂
