Luise, you are glowing! I'm only a few minutes into the video, but had to stop to write this comment to say how fantastic you look. Hurrah for you on your "get healthy" journey. You look so happy "in your own skin" now. 💛🧡❤
So true!!😂
Well said! I couldn’t have said it better! 😊
Thank you for addressing the fact that we don't need a ton of supplies to make amazing stuff. Your aesthetic is your aesthetic. It will shine through no matter how much stuff you have or don't have. Thank you for the reminder.
Also what newcomer might not realize is that your craft supplies and storage etc have evolved from that same small space that you started in yourself. And supplies are accumulated over several years. Thanks for always sharing with us. I am happy for you and what you have. You have worked hard for that.
Thank you so much for those words. That's absolutely true.
Haha! That was hilarious! I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the whole video. There were so many funny moments. You’re a comedy genius! {On top of being a mad artist scientist…}😉😉😉😉
Luise, I'm in awe of how thoughtfully & carefully you've organized the structure/design of your craft room...especially recalling how it looked during the construction phase!! I'm sure this took a lot of effort and you should be proud of the great job you did!
Like you, I always start projects based on color and then pull in the "components". This video helped me understand how a visually driven crafter can better organize. Your primary inspiration are colors, so the wall of inks/paints/papers is the focal point. The secondary element (components) are stored in closed storage (drawers, baskets, bins) to reduce visual distraction. The third element (tools) are positioned where they are used most. Your "creating space" (desk) is reserved only for current projects to keep clutter to a minimum. And when a project is complete the "colors, components and tools" go back to their specific home and your craft room returns to its neat and tidy design. You continue to inspire on so many levels!!
Oh, now I have to go and reorganize my craft room again! Now I know "what Luise would do" and I've got to fix things!
😂😂😂😂
Right!
Luisa, I'm really enjoying your 2 videos (so far) of your creative apartment and studio tours. A few ideas: 1) your drying mats can be put into a wall pocket (office supply) possibly by your paper towels. 2) your splatter brush could go into a toothbrush holder. 3) the grungy drawers you decorated on your desk that slide, put a small empty box to keep them from sliding back.
Lastly, to your "freak", brava! Fly your freak flag when you need to. It makes you uniquely you! 😊
Thank you for the videos. ❤
Luise, you look amazing. You have very pretty eyes that shine. Love your craft room. Thank you for sharing!!
So lovely to have a face to go with your voice. I so enjoy your sense of humor - a bit twisted like mine. Albert Einstein said “Creativity is intelligence having fun.” In your case could not agree more. I’ve learned so much from you - thank you for sharing your viewpoint and experience. I’m having the time of my life in my art room letting go and making the art I want to make and most importantly being proud of all I do even the not so good stuff because I had the courage to try and there is always something to learn! 💜💕♥️
Thanks for letting us know that you would still be the same person if you would only have a tenth of your supplies you would still be the same person. I’m very happy with what I have at the moment. I just like to be creative and be distracted from my daily problems. Thank you for letting me realize that. I love your honesty ❤
I'm never jealous of anyone who has more than me. I'm very happy for anyone. I've redded out and have become very selective in getting things. I don't want them if they're going to sit. Everyone is at a different level of items. It takes time to accumulate. I'm surprised your labeling is not in german. Luise, this is the most beautiful, organized craft room I have ever seen! I loved seeing this video.
OMG that apothecary cupboard is to die for!! 🤩
That vintage drawer is epic. No words ....😮
I remember your space in Austria very well, and especially one of your videos where you thought you would see what happened if you put your journal in the washing machine lol
Luisa, i was on the edge of my seat watching this, and it will be imprinted on my brain forever ❤
You are one of the most inspirational, clever, and beautiful people I've ever come across. I love your videos. You are very special and have the kindest heart xxx
.
Luise! Thank you for sharing your craft room.. I am jealous. You look extra happy & beautiful today! Your eyes just SPARKLE! I love the plaid shirt ❤
I Like , "all the trolls can go away!" Thank you for sharing how you organize your supplies and room. I am struggling with my supplies. Collecting what you want to use in a basket then putting it away after is genius. I don't like to get up either, when creating. Right now I have a big mess all around my desk. Thank you for sharing!
Dein Kreativzimmer ist ein Ort an dem Ideen sprühen und Inspiration in jeder Ecke lauert, wunderschön ❤
Danke für's erwähnen 😘
Luise, I absolutely adore you & your creative brain! You are a genius & lovely soul! Thank you for making creativity an individual process! ❤❤❤
So many amazing suggestions that are helpful. Now I have one for you: anti-slip shelf liner for under your little drawers in front of you on your desk. I think it might be a quick and easy solution to keep the boxes from sliding when you pull on the drawers. ❤
I love how you moved your work desk to your craft room and made your living and work rooms separate places which is so necessary when you work from home.
All this time I thought you had a huge of staff of people helping you - - - now I know you are the ONE! Your brain works like clockwork. Don't ever change. I watched you at the beginning in Austria and I'm so excited about your journey. Your space and home is incredible. Your journal that I own means more and more every year!!! 😃🥰
You are so lucky to own one of her journals!!
You said the most encouraging words for me. That no matter our space, we are crafters. I had to sacrifice my craft room for my grandson. My supplies are mostly boxed up, which makes it frustrating when I work on a craft. But I am continuing to paper craft. Love how you stored your stencils. Thank you for your craft room tour. 💚💚💚
OMG, goals!! I loved you before, but now I have a huge (organizational) crush on you as well. Your craft room is so beautifully and intentionally organized. Looks like heaven to me. Thank you for sharing your ideas, so helpful!
Luise, you are beautiful today. I love your eyes. They sparkle. Your craft room is something to be admired. I only dream of having a craft room like this. But, im working on it. Lol. Thank you for sharing your room. ❤❤❤
Considering your free wheeling, grungy, unbelievably wonderful creative talent it's impressive that you are also a master organizer! Well done, Luise!
“My freak is freaking out.” Lol. I need to remember that!😊😊
My first thought when she said that was "Oh, that's getting added to my vocabulary!"
Absolutely love your creative space. So many brilliant ways to store everything ❤
Love your organization! ❤❤ i also love, love, love ❤❤❤ your wooden organization cabinet. ❤❤❤❤
Oh Luise your picture on UA-cam got me to watch this as I love your space. Those drawers similar to the old UK library reference card drawers( I used to work in a library) are really beautiful. ❤
My mind is spinning Luise 😂 your craft room is too amazing🎉❤❤
That really is a Cabinet of Curiosities!I always wondered what it is, now I know!
You are so talented and I'm grateful that you invited us in to your space. Very nice room!
I work in a library so i have a lot of appreciation for that beautiful card catalog you have ❤ i cant wait to see how you use it
.😊❤ all i can say is brillant. Your stencil box is amazing. All those stamps im overwhelmed. I think because timholt little snippets are so affordable i rather have him do it. I'm so😢 glad you showed in depth the things you have immediately around your craft table. I'm surrounded by ephemera, papers. An
Your English is so much improved! It's been 6 months since I last watched your channel. You look so beautiful and happy. ❤
I appreciate that you share with us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I love this 💜💜💜💜💜
I love that I just found your channel. Happiness just spills out when you speak!!! 🎨
you are a gem. I like your inner freak, too. Thank you for everything you contribute to the maker community. Your video was just right, your explanations are excellent, and I am totally inspired - full of fresh thoughts and motivation.
This really lends meaning to the phrase “shop your stash”!
Thank you I will be turning my stamper anonymous stamps on their side in the draws now. Your set up is incredible
Oh my goodness, I am in awe! This is absolutely phenomenal!!
I have to agree with you Luise on getting my freak on when trying to get those stamps out of the drawer. That would absolutely drive me nuts!
Luise in the IKEA drawers that pull out too far. The solution is inside the drawer there are two three sided tabs that if you bend them out they will stop the drawer from pulling out too far. I could see them and I’m sure you can find them. I hope this helps. This room is so fantastic. I’m envious of your large drawer unit that you recently got. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Oh, that's a fantastic tipp, I will search for those! Thanks a lot!
You could put some feet on your basket to lift it up enough for your heat gun cable to pass through and move about freely between the feet. You could use several things for feet like large wood beads, metal nuts stacked and glued together, or a bolt put through the basket with a bigger nut glued to make a foot. So many options you could make with your creativity. You are so inspiring and fun!!! I love your content and perspective!!! Thank you for putting your art into the ether!!!
Just started watching the video and already had to stop it to comment. I ADORE the TH inks wall!!!! What a great way to display and yet still be able to use your supplies and it is so pretty. Ok back to the video.
Love your craft room it's amazing i envy you. Wanted to ask you...behind your I pad there is a large junk journal could you show this on your next video of your craft room. Xx
That's my Dephemerember journal, the flip through is already on my channel 😉
@@luiseheinzl Ok I shall check it out thankyou.
Luise, I love your brain! And your art room and the way it’s organized - OMG!!! SO AMAZING!!! And so very inspiring 😊 Thank you for sharing your room and your time with us.
Luise! Look at you showing off your space. I'd love a flat that could hold my things and be as organised as yours.
I'm amazed at your English! I'd love to speak 2 languages.
Keep being Luise! We all love and adore you, friend! xxx
Your shelves and color system looks magnificent!!! Love love ❤️ 😍
You look so amazing, so happy, so content! I love seeing this! Your room is amazing!
Luise I can only say❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow I love your craft room and yes I want to better organise my room after watching this , your so funny and a joy to watch ❤
I love the way you store your stencils
❤ you Luise! You are such an authentic person and I am sorry to hear you get trolls on your channel. They need to go get a life and stop trying to infiltrate the beauty of other people's lives! You keep doing what you do - you are inspiring and your creativity knows no bounds!❤
It's as marvelous as you!! ❤❤❤😊
Aaah. All of your organization makes my brain calm. "No freaking my freak", just calm. 😊
Thank you for sharing. There were so many helpful tips and tricks. Loved the kitchen storage for the various boards.
You and I are the same person when it comes to prioritizing clothes and craft supplies lol. I have 1 small dresser that has ALL of my clothes and as you said "I dont need more than what i have " I have spent many years acquiring my supplies and I have a very similar organization system as yours, although not as many Inks etc. I do however have everything labled and know where to find everything when i work. You are a beautiful soul and my day isn't complete if i haven't seen one of your videos. You make me laugh so much and your talent is beyond reproach. Keep inspiring and "you do you" 🩵🩵🩵
Halfway through watching and just want to comment how much I love your stencil storage arrangement. So going to try to do this! I’m getting so many great ideas already!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤩
Love your organization. I love labels and a place for everything. And all the containers matching😂😂
A helpful hint maybe for your sliding desktop boxes. I use the grippy shelf liner for so many things in my house. Cheap, easy, non permanent. It’s the rubbery kind with a waffle type texture. I put under sofa feet, cutting boards, rugs, etc. Just a thought.
Yes, so many things get grungy in my craft space. You have inspired me to reorganize. Love your ideas. Smart smart girl Luise. 😊
What a gorgeous space. I love your work so much!! Thank you for sharing with us. ❤
Wow what a fantastic art space. Sooooo organized. Hurrah for you!
I love your space an how you make it work so magically! Thank you for sharing the ‘why’ you do things - it really helps me see possibilities 🎉🎉
So happy for you now have this fabulous room to create and make videos for US!!!!😊😊 Love your creative apartment and Girl you looks fab, radiant and happy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Fantastic room . So happy you shared. Great ideas. Keep them coming❤
Luise, thank you for sharing your organizational systems in detail with us! I like the way your brain works. I would love to see a video of your process when you make another storage "box" to match the one for your stencils.
I love how you have you room set up. I also like the gathering process of supplies before you start a project. Right now I am trying to get my room in order. I had two back surgery within two weeks and have to recover first. I’m so excited to get my act together so I can create. I have four sewing machines on my kitchen table right now . I have been making underwear for my 4 granddaughters, they will not wear store bought ones. I also sew for a charity organization that makes Bundles of supples, clothing etc for newborns in need. I really need to move my machines into my craft room.
Sehr ordentlich 👍bei mir schaut’s aus 🙈bin richtig neidig 😉
nicht neidig sein, ran an den Speck! :)
First off, thank you for dropping in on our live stream and the coffee $$! Much appreciated! Wow! This new space is amazing! That mocha brown/dark taupe/mushroom color on the walls is an excellent choice with just the right amount of warmth and it looks good with everything you included:). I still remember the video/UA-cam that introduced me to your channel and I have 'saved' some of the prints you sent to put into the eventual book I will make someday. Thank you for our continued contact--it is one that I truly value.
I should add Mariah will be drooling over the organization you have going on here. I do too but we all know it wouldn't look that way very long if I were inhabiting it:)--I want to be that person who wants things in order and I dearly love an uncluttered, horizontal surface as it calls to me (like a siren!) to fill it with...papers, paint...you know, STUFF! I want you to give us an update...like about a month from now. Make sure you tag me as I am as ever most interested.
THANK YOU!!! For being authentically YOU! I love seeing your creative space and hearing about the "why." I, too, have set up my studio with great purpose so I appreciate the thought you have put into your space. Now that I've worked in my set up for a bit I am ready to decorate/finish boxes, drawer fronts, etc and you have shared such wonderful inspiration. Can't wait to see the next video in this series!
I am in love with your crafting studio. My brain works the same way yours does in categories and colors. I loved my studio until I became bedbound. My solution was IKEA carts. One for tools, one for stamping, one for die cutting, one for jewelry making...etc. I have my caregivers to bring to me what I need. I then go shopping through my carts, and I have a project cart where I put everything I need for that project. It works great for me! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
Horray for you!! So many people would have given up.. I hope your caregivers are encouraging and maybe you are making a difference in their lives or they are even joining you creating sometimes. Vicky in Florida
Yes, I know, the plaid shirts are for filming days! I got a good laugh on that…. I am excited to see your craft room as I am in the process of designing one for myself.
Love your craft room/work room! And so nice to see your beautiful face and not just hear your voice. Thanks for the tour!
What a helpful video. I can now see that even though I don’t have as many supplies as you do I can still have a well organized place for working and for my supplies and it can be a pretty place in which to work. Thank you so much for the inspiration, Luise. 💜💜💜
You are so blessed. I and only dream about a space like this.
You are right....i am overwhelmed lmao! That is an amazing room. I love it!
Oh it’s all so yummy and organized! I hope you love your work space, it’s a wonderful feeling to have that for yourself.
You look amazing! Loved your apartment tour and your craft, work space is incredible! Great job, and so inspiring. You should be proud, your hard work has gotten you here and you deserve this next chapter. ❤
And the antique cabinet of drawers is an awesome find. How beautiful
And…..your organization is top notch!!!!!
Fantastic! This is very inspirational, thank
You!! I’ve been looking into remodeling my craft/dance/podcast room. 👍🏻 oMG! That watchmakers cabinet with all the drawers is magnificent!! I wish I had my grandpas.
We don't need all the things, but you are extremely blessed. I'm glad that you remember where you came from. So many people forget who they were when BIG things happened for you. Thank you for staying humble even though you are amazing.
Such an inspiration, my brain immediately goes to a solution for the drawers being fixed on your desk…. Could you use a block of wood fixed behind the drawers ? Just a thought 🥰 love it all you are brilliant 🎉
This is wonderful, Luise. I'm thinking you had so much fun organising your amazing new space.
Luise, your craft room is amazing. I started with making cards in 1997 and my little supplies fit in a shoe box. Now I have a craft room! I do love my Tim Holtz supplies! I love your room and loved watching this video. I love the friendship you and Barbara have. Everyone should have a friendship like you two, which I am lucky enough to have with my BFF! TFS! ❤
An organizational marvel! ❤
Luise, you are definitely a Tim Holtz groupie! I have also loved him and all his products since I first met him in late 90s.
Awww, you met him?! Gosh....that's a dream .... ❤️
@ I have actually taken several classes with him, including a tour of the Ben Franklin store he started at!
My freak loves your freak! I like your organizing style! Thanks so much for sharing.
Wow!! You have an amazing craft space! Now I need ALL the colors too 😂 and I also need a picture of Tim in my craft room! I love it!!! Your thought process is so thorough! I’m so glad I found your channel!! I’ve just started organizing my supplies and you’ve given me so many great ideas!!
Oooh lala, You look stunning 😍 your room is fantastic, you have worked so hard to get where you are. Congratulations. There are a lot of those ideas that could work in my room. Thank you
All I can say is-- fabulous!! ❤❤
Juste....wow...merveilleux.
I love the ikea storage for your trimmers
You are beautiful and so is your art❤
I would love to see how you made the box your stencils live in.
you look so good and happy in this video
What a great room you have. So nice, with such a great energy.
Love your friendliness.
Thx so much for showing your great craftroom. Now I have to organize my little corner in my living room.
Precious info for organization and processes lovers (i am one of those). Thanks a lot, Luise!! ♥♥♥
