4.5 stars. Would have been a 5-star documentary if not for that distracting music that drowns the narration.

This video is a repost of a video that was previously posted on YT. Since it was posted, Chief John Hodgens retired, and John Esposito, who was chief of operations, is now chief of department.
Also, Lillian Bonsignore has retired from her position as chief of EMS.

Good video. I worked with Chief Hodges' father, back in L-3 when he was the Captain. If anyone wants to learn more of those days, see my detailed work, MY TURN ON THE FIRELINES 1980-2003 B&N

The part about subways reminds me of the King's Cross Station fire in London in 1987, and the fire in the BART Transbay tube fire between San Francisco & Oakland CA, in 1979. Firefighters killed in both incidents. So, good to having a training place for that.
That laser methane detector is a great invention.

Idk about anyone else. But I never heard anyone say F the fire department. Maybe they should help with professionalism in other departments

Less than a minute in and I had to stop because of the music, disrespectful to the first responders.
