well i think Jamie is introvert so for him being in solitude was easy but Adam is clearly an extrovert so for him it was rly taxing when no human contact to keep him company
@@gownerjones Well, I see him in almost every episode playing up for the camera, being funny, and just showmanlike. That has nothing to do with ADHD and everything to do with being an extrovert. I know people with ADHD who would NEVER even let themselves be recorded. Let alone be a clown for the camera (I mean this with the most respect to Adam, he's great!)
If you ever would end up in a situation a moose comes on the road. Try steer at the back of the moose. That can increase your chances to miss the moose, or at least save you from having it landing on top of the car . Since the moose usually will keep on going in a straight line the direction it is heading. Unlike a reindeer wich you will not know where it is going, it can go back and forth on the road.
The myth about the ducks has one flaw. Ducks are migratory. If they run out of open water, they either fly to where there is open water or they aren't likely to survive. Also, anyone stupid enough to try blasting a whole in the ice with dynamite is stupid enough to park his truck on thin ice. Almost every year some person going ice fishing too late in the season looses his truck bc he drives out on the river.
The worst part of the cabin experiment is probably the lack of clocks... You can have a rough estimate of what time it is while the sun is up, but for the rest of 2/3rds of the day there's no way to really say.
@@NotTheEx Actually the DVD's that I have are missing footage that are in these episodes that have been uploaded to UA-cam, on average about 5-7 minutes are missing on the DVD's. I have the Collection sets not the seasons sets.
On a recent AMA video Adam actually revealed that the cabin fewer experiment was kinda staged. They only spent maybe 11 hours in the cabins. Not several days as shown here.
I wonder if water cutting facilities are still a thing, I imagine they are still useful but with lazer cutting and newer technologies I imagine they had lost a ton of market.
Water cutting is still used for most thin metal, basically all stone and thicker wood situations. Laser cutting is still limited to thinner things because of power requirements (and material conflicts) and plasma cutting is basically only used for thicker sheet metals. Then there are a few other ways of CNC cutting out various things like CNC routers for wood, but different tools for different needs. If doing this today I would probably still water jet the rubber, though that would require a bit of double checking
'This is a good average' 'Most of the moose {hit by cars} are calves, so this is the weight we decided on' So yes. The simulated moose is juvenile. Alaskan moose can get a lot heavier than that. From Wikipedia: 'The Alaskan moose can stand at over six feet at the shoulder, approximately 9 feet long and can weigh over 1200 lbs.'
Do you get the videos from somewhere or are you doing something with the audio? Cause it is really annoying and off-putting having the voices either in the left or the right channel.
Sideways. Which is why I've decided against fitting 4 points in my "Only thing between the road and your head is a thin bit of crushable windscreen" 2 seater. It almost certainly won't ever be upsidedown, but if it is I don't want it resting on my skull.
