That can be done: hover your cursor over the bottom of the screen window (on a computer), or tap there on mobile, so the red timeline and play buttons etc. appear. See on the right the button that says "CC". Click/tap on that and subtitles will appear. Click/tap "CC" again and they disappear again.
- They speak in English though. I get it though, sometimes I'd rather read it than listen. There is CC at the top of your screen though or hit the settings button to find CC.

If it ever happens (I doubt it) it will be 20 years from now minimum, Russians aren’t quite like most people. If you ask any Russian over 40 about the worst years it’s always the 90s, and that’s the only years they actually had democratic freedoms and real elections! Now the older Russians say “we had freedom in the 90s, it was horrible, never again”. So, basically Russia might have democracy once everyone who was 20 or more in the 90s is dead, think 2050! 🥴

Wasn't Navalny a Russian imperialist who supported the war against Ukraine, having been a Russian nationalist? Or so I heard. Russia's imperialism will not go away if Putin were to disappear. Putin is a symptom, not the cause.
Whatever the case, she needs to be very careful and keep her head on a swivel at all times. Putin has proven that he's not above killing dissidents and opponents abroad, on multiple occasions.

We have different oppositions as well, and anyhow they work together in our government and deal with Covid, sanctions, terrorism, special military operation bcz of suffered ppl in Donbas.... Those kind of political oppositions doing real things for the ppl in such a big country as well. But Navalni, may he Rest In Peace, did nothing good to our country, unfortunately. Legally, treason involves acts that betray one's country and usually requires clear evidence of intent to harm the state. Putin is not the state.
