Barry finally moving on from his mother's death was the actual conclusion of Joshua Williamson's run. he beat eobard by letting go of his hatred for him. I love the messaging and themes of Barry finally confronting his trauma, and letting go, finally running into the light like Wally did. now Barry is off the flash book as the main flash and I'm kinda happy about that. Barry's arc is over.
"Dear Son, There is only one thing I know about life. I know some things happen by chance. We fight for what we lost. Love always, You Father Thomas Wayne"
I agree with you about Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan. He didn’t do a bad job IMO. The script and material he had to work with was just terrible. I do love Nathan Fillion though.
I could be wrong here, but I think the main reason Wonder Woman is portrayed as so murderous in alternate universes, is because she's become more unlikable overall. I've noticed in a lot of media involving her, that she's remarkably sexist, however, she's not as severe as her mother or the amazons on her island. By severe they're likely to just flat out murder any male that washes up ashore on their island. This unlikability even in her normal incarnations makes her a prime target to alter, making her just as messed up as her mother. I feel if the writers and directors want to have people start to like Wonder Woman again, they need to dial back the 'Man's world this, Man's world that, yada yada'. and show that she's moved far beyond her mother's views, and that a character who's supposed to be compassionate [SPOILERS for a movie], doesn't unsheathe her very deadly sword and start swinging it at struggling Green Lantern trying to find confidence in herself.
My example of a nuclear option would be the collector ray gun in Mass Effect 2. Only used it twice, against the thresher maw on Tunchanka and the proto reaper.
Wow, perfect timing on this. I've been reading through a bunch of "post crisis" DC comics in chronological order. And I was just about to read "Flashpoint" and start on the New 52.
Flashpoint is a story that kicked off the two biggest screwups that DC have ever had....the New 52 and their shared animated world reset that they had to kill off. It’s a shame because standing alone Flashpoint isn’t a baaad story...but as an engine to reset everything... not so great.
Just want to give you a quick shout out on a more recent video! You make my works days awesome, I love programming all day while having a rumination playing in the background. Many thanks for the amazing content.
i always took diana being "evil" as her just loosing her mercy, her empathy, and just being "i know whats right, and i will do whats needed, no matter what". its just that it hasnt really been done that well >.>
it'd be more interesting if they took a hero that was seen as less than the rest?? like what if Green Arrow was imbued with magic?? so he just conjurs a bow and arrow filled quiver that never runs out and allows him to fire whatever arrow he wants?? and he could use his magical power to float or fly?? and all sorts of other stuff but being an archer by nature he sticks to the ethereal bow and arrow stuff?? that'd mean he could take out Supes cus magic arrows and it'd be harder for normal attacks to affect him cus magical barriers and what not.... seriously that'd be really cool IMO even if it was just a one off story i'd love to see something like that lolz or how about take someone like firefly and make him living fire?? eh too much like human torch....meh or killer moth and make him an actual human size moth monster?? like Man Bat?? lolz I still like my Green Arrow idea......it makes the most sense or is most plausible and could be developed with more thought
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! Good to see you doing well Lore. Just starting my new job in Taiwan, hope this year treats you well as well. Also, RIP on that wonder woman 1984 comment. That movie was such a let down.
Why does Barry's memories start to align with the current universe? The timeline is stabilizing. Been done before in fiction. Likely the Legends of Tomorrow. Spoilers. Zoom survives for about a year using his molecular control and speed force. Introduces the Black Racer. The Grim Reaper for Speedsters.

Wonder Woman and Shazaam hurt the movie for me

I have found your channel yesterday and it is a goldmine of content. Thank you for your hard work. Keep me distracted for another couple weeks
Never seen this, but I've heard Batman is brutal here. 😲😲
They did a good job with reverse flash in the live action show.
Genuinely terrifying portrayal

About time, the conclusion to DC animated universe is awesome!
Every Eobard Thawne storyline in the
Flash or Legends of Tomorrow were exceptional

My lord this comic was absolute fire.

that'd mean he could take out Supes cus magic arrows and it'd be harder for normal attacks to affect him cus magical barriers and what not....
seriously that'd be really cool IMO even if it was just a one off story i'd love to see something like that lolz
or how about take someone like firefly and make him living fire?? eh too much like human torch....meh
or killer moth and make him an actual human size moth monster?? like Man Bat?? lolz
I still like my Green Arrow idea......it makes the most sense or is most plausible and could be developed with more thought
