Thank you for the videos
Did they get rid of the lady who was always stood annoying the horses & guards. I have watched lots of videos of her there every day annoying everyone & being told off.
I believe I heard you describe yourself as English, not British. May I ask what differentiates them?
@@TaraVixen I wondered what had happened to her. She had the art of upsetting every horse and guard. She made it appear she was part of the proceedings. She would pull at the reins and when remonstrated with had this maniacal laugh. I did see her on her site which was very vitriolic, but it seems to have disappeared, it certainly wasn’t the jolly, happy , I’m everybody’s friend, that she appears. Not the person I would like as a friend.
Having trained horses I have mad respect for this guard. It may look as though he had no control but he managed this with only one hand.
This guard needs a medal, how he managed to control that horse for am hour I cannot imagine. With one hand too. I understand why it is best to keep the horse in the box. Its like a child they have to learn about the box
AMEN!!
Something is bothering the horse, it may be an issue with his mouth.
@@PeacfullSoulActually I was wondering why he is chomping on the bit so much. I feel so sorry for the horses. I would like to see how the tourists would feel if they had to stand still for an hour and have hands touching them all the time. 😖
I agree. The tourists are ill mannered, totally disrespectful of both guards and horses. The area needs to be fenced to keep the stupid people a safe distance away
My dad was a lifeguard (as was his dad), I lived at Knightsbridge barracks a couple of times in my life, the horses were wonderful and so well cared for, I still get teary eyed when I go back as the smell of horse poo makes me think I’m ‘home’ 😂
Curious, does the Crown have a stud farm for breeding the Irish Droughts, or do they contract with private studs?
Me, too!!
That's how I feel when I visit the gorgeous horses that take part in the Musical Ride. My dad was an RCMP for 20 years. I love the smell of those stables I used to visit regularly ❤❤ 🇨🇦
@@peggyrobertson8169 My dad travelled to Canada in the early 2000s with the Household Cavalry, I can’t remember what the official tour was called or what it was for but they were there for a month if I remember right and they spent a lot of time with the RCMP, he loved it!
Much respect for the skillful horsemanship that very patient Guardsman demonstrated. That MARE was just not having it today! Thank you for the running commentary - & being the voice of reason for the disrespectful & stupid tourists around you. People need to realize this is not a petting zoo. I am astounded at the lack of decent behaviors here! Thank you for a wonderful video.
I totally agree, great commentary.
this horse is most definitely NOT a mare, do you not know anything about the anatomy of a mare, the back view of the horse with the tail raised is clearly a gelding, if you look closely you can also see his sheath.
22:17
I totally agree, well said!
EDIT: LondonCityWalks has confirmed they have some mares. must be recent as everything I've seen before states only geldings.
They only have geldings in the mounted kings guards
Thank you so much for capturing the events and for expert narration. As a horse owner my self, I understand that the rider is trying their best to not let the horse “win”. Also, horses can get a bit excited on cold days particularly in the mornings. However, the horse has not stopped chewing on and bracing against the bit since it came on duty. She has been trying to get away from the bit the entire time. She tried at least twice to rear up. I truly think there is something wrong with the horse’s mouth, the bit, or both. Hopefully the groom, the rider and/or the vet will do a complete assessment of the horse and the equipment. My heart goes out to the horse and the rider. They will both need a long calming break after all of this.
Yes. Horrendous to see. So many people watching & approaching, yet no one was sufficiently observant to see the horse very obviously had a problem with the bit & needed it out of his mouth pronto. The one guy who had to re-fenegle the reins made me wonder if the bit was also messed up by whoever dressed the horse. Can't get the staff these days.
Exactly what I was thinking. Something was obviously cause stress to the horse withe bit and/or mouth.
it doesn't like that bit
It is so sad to think the horse might have an injury.
I agree, something is wrong with the bit/bridle. It almost sounds like the bit is clicking on her teeth, so something is not right. Either her teeth need done, or the bridle is not the right size or something like that. You can see that the guard has very soft hands. As soon as she stands still for a moment, the reign is loose and it is obviously still bothering her.
It's sad to see that the Lesser Spotted Tourist still can't be trained into using common sense.
Well done to the guards, they have the patience of a Saint! 🇬🇧🇬🇧👸
I want to tell these Idi0ts that
A) HORSES ARE LIVING BEINGS NOT PROPS AND
B) GET TF OUT OF THE WAY , GIVE THEM SPACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO ENDANGER THE GUARD, HORSE AND EVERYONE AROUND! ONE KICK CAN SEND YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET !
And I would have, if I was there. Like step back, stop making so much noise! You wouldn't laugh and go near a Gorilla, would you ?
😂Love that. Lesser spotted!
I would like to hear them say thank you to the guards for the photographs. And to the horsemen. Am I just being too British?
@@whoseturnisit9733 i agree, and i am not British. ;)
@@whoseturnisit9733 Absolutely not. What angers me most, these parents are watching, (and I use that term loosely), the horse continuously having to be reined in. Yet, rather than pull the child back, they say nothing. But if the children are injured they will rush to a lawyers office to sue.
The skill the Guard showed in keeping the horse under restraint from doing anything worse was amazing. Thank you for this video and thank you to every man and woman for your service.
What an exceptional piece of horsemanship, guard is amazing and the police have been fantastic watching over them both. ❤❤
Thank you so much for moving people out of the way. 1700 pounds of horse can move in a split second, people can't. Bless that Trooper, he did an amazing job trying to control that mare. She was just not having it today and I don't blame her! She, and all the horses, deserve much more respect than the public are giving them. It's not a bloody petting zoo.
They are not mares, all the horses of the King’s Guard are geldings.
@@catherinemorris908 There are some mares Pagan of Lifeguards , now Verona as John has confirmed , also the famous "Arnie " is a mare !
@@catherinemorris908yes they are all geldings! You can see it’s a gelding too!! Maybe not obvious to a non horse person!
Sorry Catherine, but you are mistaken. Life Guard horses 'Raden', 'Pagan' and 'Verona' are mares. The Blues and Royals also have several mares. 🐴🙏🏻
The horse is not a gelding. She is a mare named 'Verona'. 🐴🙏🏻
I can’t help but marvel at these amazing horses as well as their riders. I know it might not seem like it, but as someone who’s ridden since before I could walk, I can see their riders are in complete control and know their animals front and back & inside out. Both they and their beautiful animals have my absolute respect.
Good to remember that this is just as hard on them as it is for the riders to stand there dealing with these clueless tourists day in day out.
ESPECIALLY on a Monday, bless them. Xx
Sending love to all from across the pond 🇨🇦❤️🇬🇧
Big respect to the guard for his patience. ❤ 👍 🇬🇧
One of those days for the beautiful Horse ❤
Thank you for your video ❤
I am so sorry that this horse is having such a difficult time. Respect for the guard.
Thank you for posting this. (Kat) love and respect for all.
Thank you for the commentary during this entire video. It makes such a difference to the viewing to have someone knowledgeable describing what's going on. I've watched many of these types of videos, being a horse lover, and having the commentary makes all the difference, especially on such a busy and unprecedented Monday morning. Hats off to the Guardsman who battled to keep his horse under some control with superior horsemanship! Well done to you! Thanks again for this most excellent and interesting video, LCW.
My pleasure. Your kind words are much appreciated! Thank you and welcome to the Channel. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I agree, I’m liking the commentary too, I admit I only go to London if I really have to, being free a medium sized town in Yorkshire I can’t do the business or noise there. I only tend to go if we have relatives visiting or sometimes the children ask to go.
I love way you work you amazing keep good work up
This guard was fantastic!! I was so worried when they were in the courtyard that one of the horse’s back legs would step accidentally into the window cutout and possibly break or cause it to fall….would have been tragic for horse and guard….never mind the foolish tourists! Some people just don’t pay any attention to their surroundings! Thank you for sharing all this with us and your excellent commentary….so fun to watch from my own kitchen! 😊
Thank you for educating future tourists on what is NOT acceptable behavior around horses and guards. Even though I have had experience around horses this was still very educating to see how insensitive and disrespectful tourists can be. Maybe your videos will make a small dent into what these horses and guards experience DAILY. 👏
Very, very enjoyable to watch and your commentary was fantastic too, even with the 'Monday meltdown horse,' he sure did show some spectacular sidestepping. I was enthralled !!❤😊
A massive shout out to the guard on this unhappy horse. As a horse owner I've had many a buck and rear but he kept control with one hand.
Been. there. done that
The horse is constantly working his mouth. Is there perhaps something wrong with the bit?
Same here. It almost looks like he was having a little trouble with the bit. Maybe it had cut the side of his lip. Anyway...the guard was a real trooper!
@@pseudorandomly I agree if you mean the video where a man saw something not right with his mouth and the guard immediately pressed the buzzer persistently to get him off duty. In general terms most of them try to throw the bit probably because they are broken by the best trainers and will keep a soft sensitive mouth.
@@michhart4237 Thanks for your response. The horse in question started out OK but by 5:18 was working his mouth constantly, and continued throughout the remainder of the video. I'm not a horse person; no idea whether that is normal behavior or not. It seems like you'd want the horse to be more comfortable, though.
That was a wonderful display of horsemanship from the guard. Thank you for posting the entire episode.
The guard did a fantastic job
We often see fine displays of horsemanship at Horse Guards when the horses misbehave. This was right up there with the very best - and a wonder to watch.
The horse had enough! This guard is to be applauded. Tourists should not be allowed so close to the horses.
Thank you for sharing your video with us also interesting comment from your viewers. You are so right, common sense. 🇺🇸 Deep respect for all the soldiers and horsemanship. They are a proud group as they serve their Country.❤️🍀
And he enjoyed it 52:05 😄
Bless them all! 👌 Amazing job. Expert horsemanship!! I’m thinking the departing horse may have passed on the message “kick off enough and they’ll bring you back in” 🤗🤗🤗
What a spectacular looking mare, even if she was having a tough day. Kudos to her caring, skilled rider
Total respect to the horseman on Verona , he did an amazing job ! I bet his arms were aching after that shift bless him . Thanks for another great video John 👍
Ah, Verona again!
Brilliant filming once again. Give that horseman a Bells, not only for the way he handled that mare, but he still smiled a lot, as if it was a walk in the park.
Just shows how well trained the guards are. All very loyal and dedicated to their job, to the Horses and to each other. And all so handsome to. ❤❤❤❤😊😊
I am stunned by how many people just laugh and do not see any danger in a horses behavior or animal for that matter....still awesome to see that much professionalism there
I am American and would like to thank the Kings guard for their duty and honor to the King and Britian. They deserve respect.
As someone who works in a public historical government building myself - I understand how difficult it can be to deal with people who do not respect boundaries. I send my thanks and respect to these guards. I am not English, but I hope they know how much their work for the crown and the English people is appreciated.
The Guard mounted on the horse had impeccable control throughout the ordeal, respect of the highest indeed!
Excellent horsemanship by guardsman! Clearly the horse is uncomfortable and has been since the start of his shift.
Great interesting and informative commentary Thank you 🤐😀
Thank you for this amazing video. I'm exhausted just watching. The horsemanship from this guard was amazing
I'm thinking there might have been an issue with either the bit or the bridle or perhaps the horse is uncomfortable in his mouth.....the constant chewing on the bit makes me think so. But the guard did a wonderful job on keeping it all under control. Such a great video, btw!
Thought same thing I noticed it soon horse came out
I concur.
Thank you for an exemplary video showing the world our city with its traditions and also trying to teach people what to do around the Horseguards, that guardsman was well trained in his art of looking out for his beautiful but very unsettled horse and the public who i feel couldnt care less about the horse, ive recently got into watching your excellent videos as im unable to travel from the North of England to London to see the wonderful job of the guardsmen/women and horses. Keep up the good work guardsmen/women horses and of course you John
The guard did an amazing job, bless him. Thank you for sharing .
It made me so mad to see these crowds not understanding that the horse was nervous or quite simple angry - and the tourists still stand there or "heckle" the horse (not knowing, I presume, that they should be respected). And well done for the Guardsman who kept his calm and the horse's.
More to the point if the horse is angry or nervous why did the horseman not change him out.
Why didn’t the police move the tourists back? Do you not want the tourists to be there? Do you think they should instinctively understand horses even though they haven’t been trained to understand their behaviour?
Thank you! Imagine blaming the tourist who are actively encouraged to visit.@@Milou1395
@@Milou1395 For one, each wall next to where the horses stand is marked with a warning on possible horse reactions. And two, the tourists aren't at a "circus". The horses and guardsmen are working, following orders. And three, I agree that the police should be more reactive.

When I was lucky enough to travel to Europe years ago, I asked if I could get closer to the Queen's Guard's Horse - that I was going through Animal Withdrawal - my dogs and cats were thousands of miles away in the US, and I missed them terribly!! The Queen's Guard was kind enough to nod. I walked to the Horse talking calmly to him, he was incredible, he nuzzled my neck and let me give him a firm hug!! I THANKED THEM BOTH!! I'VE NEVER FORGOTTEN HOW KIND AND SWEET THEY BOTH WERE TO ME! ❤️🤗 🐎❤️🐎🤗❤️ I wasn't afraid nor did I provoke these Active Duty Military Service Members!!
Why did you even need to touch the horse ? Why does anyone have to touch, why can’t you just admire and walk away
You critique the people an awful lot, how are they supposed to know that the horse is acting up ? Of course they are going to look in or get close, normally that’s what tourists do so why you so bloody negative and name calling
But it isn’t about you! 🙄These men and their horses are on duty.
@@juliesantos705If you read and can comprehend English - you wouldn't need to ask that question because I already stated what I did and why!! If you're just looking for a reason to be nasty - I'm the wrong person!! The Guard and Horse didn't mind and I was, and still am grateful that the Guard and Horse we're so sweet!!
Nothing's going to change that!!
@@juliesantos705 because they are soldiers on active duty and its ettiquet to get out of the bloody way, im assumimg that most of the tourists have eyes , nobody runs to a police man and his dog for picture when they are at work.....its no different im afraid
I didn’t think I would enjoy these videos because it’s the same video over and over but it’s people watching through YOUR lenses ❤I enjoyed it a lot
I just found your channel by accident and I want to thank you for making these videos! I am housebound so I can never experience these things in person and your commentary is so useful. Thank you!
The same for me! I love John's because of his commentary. Other channels just film.
This is the most remarkable hour I’ve seen for Guard and mount. What a tremendous job the guard did, with one hand, as you pointed out. This will be spoken of for months and months to come by all the guards. It does show the lengths the guards will go through to keep a mount on station for his assigned time. Tremendous narrative!!
WOW...I LOVE LOVE LOVE your video'. Thank you so much for doing what you do to help us get to know London. My grandfather was born in Wolverhampton and came to Canada to homestead. When he retired he wanted to go back but everyone told him no..that England has gone so far down hill that he would be disappointed. I brought my older girl guides to England for three weeks, and I wasn't in England for more than a day when I realized THEY WERE WRONG. Everyone, was amazing, even the people who struggled for a living. Its been 25 years since I did that, and I am thrilled to see that England still hasn't come "down". Nothing has changed...people, including you are still amazing. I can't wait to come back. My husbands family is also from England, and we are coming back to get "remarried". No better place to do it. THANK YOU ever so much for your talks, it means so much to us, your viewers. Marlene (Delta BC Canada)
I just DO NOT believe how stupid these tourists are. Well done the guard under very difficult circumstances. Those tourists need to move before the horse moves them himself.
Tourists so stupid they’re idiots the horse is nervous
Amazing commentary. It made it a pleasure to watch. The horsemanship of the guard was admirable.
You want the guards to smile while people want to take pictures, but we need to remember that these guards are actually on DUTY. It's not about being unfriendly, but performing a duty to protect and serve England. It is so amazing to see this history in motion. There is a time for play as well as a time for when we need to keep the main thing the main thing. Thank you for the beautiful videos.
First class horsemanship, well done in handling the horse, that poor horse didn’t want to be there. Enjoy your commentary you were saying what I was thinking. New subscriber, British born living in Australia 🇦🇺
Well you had it all today! Weird woman in the archers..rein grabbers.. very unsettled horse..and nearly had the troopers scrapping up tourists along with the horse poop! Never a dull day at horse guards parade 🙄 And your commentary makes all the difference..as usual. In fact I watch your videos on UA-cam so much..I forget sometimes watching others and wonder why there's no one talking.
Thanks for staying with them and all your commentary ❤ poor horse.. she is not doing Monday 😢
I just discovered your channel. You give more details than any other. Subscribing now. Thank you.
A warm welcome to the Channel Jennifer! ❤️
Thank you for the commentary & video, really great.
Some people think this is English Disneyland & these horses are like a pet. These ignorant people don’t seriously realise these horses can be very dangerous especially when the horse is very unsettled.🤦🏼
Indeed- they're MILITARY, for Heaven's sake. Wish they had an "exclusion" zone for the protection of both horsies ( John :) ) and the daft tourists. The agitations always appear on that one side, which is where the majority of tourists congregate. The horsies ( John :) ) can feel the vibrations but not understand them...and feel uneasy or even threatened. Lovely commentary by John... my American kids laugh when I call them "horsies" so it's an extra delight to hear Johns clear affection for those splendid creatures... :)
I agree, I was thinking they treat it as some kind of petting zoo.
Shout out and respect to the Guard and his colleague Horse .
Expertly handled by the Trooper , and the gate man coming out to assist for safety . The collar / tether chain had come unclipped at the beginning which is what the Trooper in camo was fixing , It's not part of the reins but clipped to the back of the noseband used when horses need to be attached to a line back in the day . Not surprised it's a mare , a feisty lady . As usual great commentary John thanks xxx

Loved the commentary. He was feeling just like we were feeling regarding the poor, upset horse. I too have never seen horse be so unsettled for so long.. Horse wanted out away from the crowds.
Thank you for sharing.😊
It was painfully obvious that there was something about the bit bothering this horse. The way he kept chewing at it and the tossing of his head. So much respect for the guard who kept control with a gentle hand. Still amazed at how people can be so ignorant and not ‘read’ the horse. There were HUGE “get back” signs clearly floating around this horse! At least for those intuitive enough to see them. I truly hope they were able to figure out what was bothering, and possibly even hurting, this beautiful horse and fix it.
This guardsman deserves a promotion!
Future Corporal of Horse! 🐴🎖️
Thanks for the video. The army bring some of their horses to Dorset during the year for a gallop along Weymouth beach, it’s amazing to see these stunning horses letting their hair down while galloping into the sea and being covered in sea and sand.
A huge shoutout to the very well trained guard who so masterfully handled a very unhappy horse who was determined to not go to work today! The young trooper had only one hand and his legs to handle a rearing, bucking and kicking horse (yes I saw him kick 3 times)! Bravo, sir, we’ll done! Very disappointed that senior staff didn’t bring the trooper in to change horses for the rest of his duty!!
One of the silly tourists could have been seriously hurt all the while clicking their silly phones for a photo op!! You would think most folks would know to move far away when a misbehaving horse is in their vicinity!! Even while holding their children’s small hands or the prom, they just stand there and watch, some laughing!!
Kudo’s to the trooper…staff who didn’t remove the horse, not so much!! Support these young men and women doing their utmost in a very trying situation!!
Thank you for your service to King and country to each of the troopers serving!! My husband of 57 yrs served the US for 23 yrs and US Customs & Border Patrol for 26 yrs! He retired after serving our nation for a total of 46 yrs at age 73 yrs. Blessings!!❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼🇺🇸🇬🇧. 🇮🇱

After watching the horse guards for several months, I have concluded that there are NO HORSES in all the rest of Europe.BTW - you are the FIRST commenter that mentioned where all these tourists are coming from. Thank you so much.
or perhaps most people in europe live in cities and big towns and never have a chance to interact with a horse at home......
Ehm, I'd say it's mostly Muricans and Asians, lmao.
Extraordinary footage. The guardsman with the "not so happy" horse, deserves a medal. His handling of that horse with one hand was amazing. Got a chuckle from the trooper who came an straightened the sign. What a gentleman. I don't understand the stupidity, arrogance and thoughtlessness of tourists and passersby., especially with children, just for a photo. Thank you for your commentary throughout the video. Excellent

Thank you, I am enjoying these much longer videos, that you have been posting recently. As always love your humour. 🐴
I love how skilled these King Guards are when controlling the horse in difficult times , mostly set off by crowds of uneducated tourists. Good job horsemen....❤❤❤
I love your commentary John! it truly is astounding how little common sense anyone has these days. It should be simple, horse looks upset, stay away....
Thank you Sophia - very kind! It was an extraordinary thing to see. I physically had to pull a lady away from doing her 'shopping' at The Guard Shop when the horse was perilously close!
We had horses. One neighbour gave the stallions one apple a day over the fence.
One day we arrived he was IN the Paddock showing guests our stallions. We just ran with forks and shovels... 🙈 He could not believe that the stallion attacked him.
Common sense... never go near to a stallion on his own paddock.
Agreed! Some people are so stupid about the proper handling of horses and what constitutes abuse. It's stunning sometimes. One particular thing is some of these horses appear to have roller bits, while commenters are going on about the horse is hurting, and it's abuse, when the horse is actually enjoying the roller bit because it's bored or nervous. I've explained it so many times that I should keep that info all typed up and ready to paste into my comment.
@@carol.stoeser It seems to be "normal" for people to comment on videos when they know nothing about the subject. Sadly, our govt. here in the US is no better.

They should put a sign on DO NOT TOUCH HORSE! because imagine how many hours they have to stand there , getting touched ny HUNDREDS of people!!! No wonder they react as they do!!
Hi, from New Zealand, having worked in tourism for a lot of years, we define a tourist as a person that stays away from home for more than 2 nights!! Loving your narrative!!!
Being raised on a horse ranch (farm), these majestic creatures are no different then us. We all have good & bad days (off days). Today just happens to be the mares day❤
Made me wonder if they discovered if something was a little amiss with some of his tack and gear?
@@YellinHelenP Well, the martingale that came unhooked at the beginning and was banging on the horse's leg didn't help.
Love the sounds of horses. Hopefully the next time this horse is out he'll have a better day.
Got nothing but up to admiration for these men and women. And the work they do, and the horses, too. That takes a lot of skill and nerve to stay there like that. I used to own horses so I know exactly what it's like. When a horse wants saddle, you have to be very calm. And don't let him sense your panicking.❤❤❤
Love your commentary! You were verbalizing everything I was thinking about the asinine tourists. As someone with five horses here on my property I have massive respect for them. People are so ignorant when it comes to horses--the Royal Guard horses are huge and very powerful. Sometimes they just wake up on the wrong side of the stall; they're not robots. And sometimes they spook for reasons we can't see or hear so best to stay out of their way at all times. They WILL run you over. (I love London and was there twice in the past few years visiting my niece. Just subscribed to your channel.)
I think many people think that horses are like cute dogs and not powerful animals.
I still say, most people leave their brains and common sense at home when they go on vacation.
Oh my goodness my heart was racing for both the horse and guardsman. Superb riding. I was amazed he didnt get bucked off.. God bless them both
Bravo, to that guard for all his hard work.
They are so neat. I'm from the USA so I may not understand all the things involved but I'm amazed that the guards have the patience to deal with people. I would be afraid to approach the guards/horse for spooking the horse. ( I was taught that was respect for the other riders) I'm not a regular rider but know to give them a wide berth. Thank you for explaining things.
Thank you for your timely and informative channel about the Royal Guard and extensive history. I’m a new subscriber and appreciate your hard work.
Thank you and a very warm welcome to the Channel! ❤️
Yeah, as an old American cowgirl, I can see that this horse is done. He now has it in his head to leave. I know you can’t let them get away with this stuff or they will do it again. But SOMETIMES, when it does get too dangerous you have to end it. I only did that once, and I regretted it. The problem horse got worse each time until I figured out a solution.
It seemed the bit wasn't in correctly. Something wasn't right.
At last, someone who talks sense
@@patriciamorton1068 That had nothing to do with the bit. Nothing.
Bulls.... The horse is in pain and discomfort. Listening to your horse only gives their respect back. I have horses for over 20 years and the more I listen to what they tell me the harder they will do their best for me. If they are getting dangerous than it's bnecause they are ignored and they don't have another way to tell us that they are not happy. Horses are not machines or robots!
You can't force things on a horse. I have trained horses since I was 18, attended an Equestrian School in Wyoming, if a horse does not want to do something, you have to work with him so he understands what needs to be done.
People are just watching exactly the same as you (and we) are. It’s interesting to watch the skill of the horseman deal with the Monday morning blues of the horse. 🐴
Huge respect for that guard, a one hour battle with his horse! As bad as it was, giving in to them isn't good because they know then if they play up they will get taken in. That guard will be pleased to have a rest though! Thanks for videoing from start to finish..I felt like I was there..my heart was pounding at one point lol.
Sorta like when they say a horse is "Barn Sour".
Meaning the horse wants to get back to his stall and eat.
WRONG THIS HORSE MAY HAVE A STOMACH ACH OR ANYTHING. THIS IS CRUEL, ANIMAL ABUSE
@@sheliafarmer Give it a rest..these horses are looked after better than a large amount of children in this country.. probably a lot not the parents fault either. They are only out for one hour and I'm positive if they thought the horse was ill they wouldn't have put them on duty! They have 24/7 round the clock vets on call.. it's people like you that causes trouble when there is no need too. And before you think I'm someone who's into hunting and blood sports I'm not! In fact I'm very much against them especially hunting..I love all animals..and would never turn the other cheek if I saw or knew of animals either hurt or being mistreated. Take that how you wish..I don't really care!
@@sheliafarmerthose horses are well cared for and loved by their guards.
They wouldn't be working if they were ill.
@@JaneH-rj9jt youre just so smug...I dont think YOU could do what that horse does...missy know it all and you dont care
Must be a tiring job siting on the horse for so long and dealing with tourist
That horsey had the biggest smile on his face as he left the box for good and headed back to the stables! Well done to that guard, Kudos!
I’ve got enormous respect for the guards, specially the horse guards. Horses can be unpredictable at some times, with these crowds of tourists you never can tell.
Eu também . Ainda mais porque eles controlam esses animais com apenas uma mão nas rédeas. A outra fica o tempo todo segurando a espada, mesmo quando o cavalo empina. Esses guardas são excelentes. ❤
Wow, That King’s Guard is Trying so Hard to Calm his Horse, You Know What we all have Bad Days , Well Done Officer 👮♀️👌👍👏👏👏👏
Yayyy I’m glad one of you talks, to let us know what’s going on!!
It can be very disappointing when the title says something, you watch the whole video & don’t see what apparently occurred - (on the guards videos) I only came across your videos a few days ago & you don’t seem to ramble on for no reason 😊
Something looks so different to going to the back it used to be weider did they do some construction making it smaller it looks nice I like it and the building looks cleaner I love it keep up the good work I salute you all
It’s so funny to watch how relaxed the horses become when they’re headed back to the stables. They are truly barn-soured.
The Guard should be commended for his patience and love of Horses. As he knows the horse needs to be aware this needs to happen for a short time.
Hello from Canada. The horses are so magnificent!!! What great coverage. I agree that the people are stupid. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the guard's room after this type of idiocy! I feel bad that the Guard and horse have to put up with the ignorance of some people.
Great video.
This reminds me of people in the US trying to take pictures with wildlife at the national parks ( bison, for example) and discovering these animals are not trained and will attack. All visitors to these parks have been told how far to stay away to be safe.
A curb bit can feel very uncomfortable in a horse's mouth if the curb chain is attached incorrectly and causes the bit to pinch down on the bars in the mouth. In the worst cases, the corners of the horse's mouth can get caught between the chain and the bit.
Exactly what I saw as well, and I have never owned a horse. I have ridden many times just never owned. The FIRST THING I was taught was HORSES HOOVES AND MOUTHS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT.
WOW GREAT VIDO I GUESS HORSES HAVE GOOD AND BAD DAYS AS WELL THE GUARDSNEB DID A GREAT JOB OF COONTROLE--VIDO AMAZIING -- GLAD THEY CHANGED THE HORSES -- SO SO MANY PEOPLE THERE TODAY GLAD I CAN ENJOY THIS VIDO FROM MY HOME =TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR ME ==HAVE A BLESSED DAY THANK YOOU FOR YOUR TIME 🥰🥰🥰
