I've only been on the one in Shanghai but it isn't as bad as you might think. From memory, as long as you let the seat hold you in the position (I.e. try not to lift your neck/back upwards) you will be ok. I remember being more worried my phone would fall out of the container 😆

We rode it yesterday: the metal bar didn’t even touch my legs but I could feel it if I lifted my leg. The circle thing on the back cover gives you the ability to lean up a little bit. It is definitely worth the wait tho.

It is mostly just the majority of Disney park goers are weak, addled with issues, and delicate beyond belief. I have never really ever felt even 1/6th of the discomfort found at the other world class parks like Universal, Phantasialand, Dollywood, Knotts, Europa Park, Alton Towers, Six Flags, Cedar, seaworld, busch gardens, etc.
Exactly! It’s such a fun way to ride a rollercoaster, I realized I could actually just grip to the “motorcycle” with my legs and have my arms free and up 😂 personally I found that aspect very comfortable.
I’m 7 and I went on this, man this was my first ever time riding roller coasters, as you can guess I have the fear of roller coasters. Going on this made me scream, for those people are gonna ride that are younger or the same age as me, your gonna need someone’s hand to hold on this roller coaster. I’ve never screamed that much times before, btw if your not 48 inches tall you can NOT go on this roller coaster. I honestly think that this should be at universal studios. This should be the roller coaster you go on if your trying to face your fear of roller coasters. For me, just by watching povs of this roller coaster, my heartbeat still beats faster then normal. But really once you get done riding an roller coaster, you wanna go on it over and over again. If your still reading this, thank you a lot. Hopefully I made you wanna ride roller coasters now!! ❤🎉
I road it last Sunday. I’m 6’1” and just under 300lbs and I was able to ride it. I was very uncomfortable until the launch because I didn’t get situated correctly before they locked me in. My legs were being badly pinched just above my knees. It was a great experience tho
I rode this ride a few days ago and I was so scared but it wasn’t even that bad. The only scary part to me was the launch. I would definitely ride again 👍
I agree! The launch is the scariest part because you’re not 100% ready and you think that the handles will not be enough to hold on to… but then once you get past the launch you don’t want to hold on to the bars anymore and you just have your arms up and you’re not scared anymore and you’re actually enjoying 😂😂😂
I went to the Disneyland in Shanghai a couple years back and I went on this ride a few times. Favourite ride by far and happy to see it being implemented in more countries.

It was a fun ride and I’m okay with the overall seat and restraints, although they should be relooked at as improvements can definitively be made both comfort and safety wise. My biggest problem that should definitely be addressed first is the handlebars, they felt like a dulled out cheese grater almost, my hands were definitely roughed up a bit. Overall, it was a fun and great ride but definitely can use improvements and if not the seats themselves, the handlebars most definitely.
I’ll just say that as a heavier person riding tron was surprisingly easier then I expected. Everyone says how the restraints sucks but since I ride 100’s of coaster every year I had no problem with it.

Of course once Americans get a version of these roller coasters they instantly have problems. Rode it 2 days ago and I think it was perfect, just wish the ride was longer. The seats were plenty comfortable, obviously it’s not like floating on a cloud but it’s a roller coaster… and especially as a motorcycle, this is the most comfortable, best design to accommodate the most amount of people while still remaining to be safe. the metal bar by your knees was no problem for me it’s there just to keep your legs in place because humans are dumb and will stick their legs out of a moving vehicle, there’s no padding on them or anything because they don’t press on you during the ride, my back didn’t hurt at all, the back restraint is so wide that the force is spread out a good amount, actually felt a lot better than a normal roller coaster where your spine gets compressed and extended multiple times by sitting vertically. And the handlebars have a nice feel to them but you can ride the ride with your hands up the whole time if you want. But again if your body shape has a hard time in the test seat you can request to sit in the accommodating seats, they’re just normal coaster seats. But the feeling of riding a motorcycle makes it an amazing experience for a roller coaster.

I went Friday and Disney springs Sunday. So today (Monday) I’m going to Epcot. I had a softball tournament in Florida which is why I went to Disney!!
Omg!! I went on the ride this week when I went with my family and I lived it. I will say though that I was unsure about the seats because I was not used to it.
Rode it today, and will say it’s worth it for anyone to just try it at least once for yourself… either you end up liking the ride as a whole or not there are test seats at the attraction entrance, tho the rides fun I’d say the seats are a fitting design but uncomfortable and not for everyone it’s comparison to flight of passage seats in the way your positioned.
My parents and I literally rode this just a couple of days ago and my back started hurting while waiting in line so the fact that I had to lean forward and stretch my back, I was very comfortable. Not gonna lie. I did not feel very secure, but I’m also very glad it does not go upside down because that would’ve been scary.
I rode this yesterday for the first time. I didn’t even notice the mettle bars on my legs because I’m 12 so it didn’t actually touch me. The seats aren’t super uncomfortable but they aren’t the comfiest. The seats are like the same thing as avatar. It’s really fun but it’s also fast. It’s comparable to guardians of the galaxy or rock n rollercoaster (I’ve heard, I have only been on guardians once and I’ve never been on rock n rollercoaster) my family had a few problems with the lockers because me and my brother only had magic mobile (putting your magic band on your watch) The lockers open from both sides so you can put your stuff in on one side and take it out on the other. My mom’s backpack strap was stuck and a cast member had to open the door r on the other side. I recommend going on it when it’s dark out because there’s some cool lighting stuff for the outside part. (So my brother says) Overall It’s a really fun ride, even though I was initially terrified.
You know, I would love to ride this new tron ride because the last time I was at Disney world, I was only 8 years old. And Disney world didn't have the tron bikes back then. So yeah I would love to get some tickets to come ride this summer.

And o rode it twice and didn’t even know a metal bar came down to secure your legs. Like I said, if your not over weight, the ride is so much fun!
I went on Tron the other day and the only time I ever felt unsafe was when we were moving along the tracks at steep angles. I felt like I could slip through the space between the back and leg braces.
I got to ride the ride right when the park opened on Thursday. Getting on the cycle is definitely a little awkward, but comfy except in the chest part. All my women with larger chests might be a bit uncomfortable! I was a bit squished there and glad I didn't wear anything low cut.
this is the real issue. i saw people here saying that it hurts your chest more than your back. doesn't sound fun at all. that's gonna have to be a dealbreaker for me 😬
I’m nearly 60. It was great. If you are heavy set and not nimble, you’re going to have a difficult time but not impossible to fit. If you think it’s going to be an issue, there is a model as you enter the ride to try for yourself. If not? Just ride the cart. All good.
Huh... just went to Knotts Berry farm and rode the admittedly depressingly short pony express and i feel like some notes could certainly be taken for comfort of the carts..
I loved this ride! So cool for magic kingdom. My husband hated it, he was super uncomfortable and had neck pain the whole time. It’s not for everyone for sure.
I rode it a couple of times! It was pretty fun. I would always want to go again. Nighttime would be a good time to go because you can get to see the lights. It is also faster at night
Six of us went on Tron during our trip in May. All six of us were disappointed. No desire to ride it again. By comparison, we went on Guardians of the Galaxy 3 times.
Just got back from WDW last week and rode Tron twice. It was comfortable and I didn't notice the handle bar being rough. I really enjoyed it both times with no problems. My only complaint is that the ride is super short. Wish it were longer.
Now wait a sec cause ive never been to anything disney ever, bjt i was thinking of going on this ride. But the leg space looks too small for our family, we range from 5ft 10in to 6ft 6in(besides the 10yr old who would NOT ride this lol)would we even be ABLE to ride it? 😅
I got to ride it recently. I’m a fan of Tron so I was beyond excited. It was much fun and that speed is ridiculous irl! Definitely my new favorite ride in all of Disney World. Only thing I don’t like is how short it is and the virtual queue junk (worst thing ever created).
We rode before it even opened, it was the day they were “testing” it I guess. I’m assuming it was the 2nd of April. We tried to get it the next day, an realized that it wasn’t opening until the 4th. I found no issue with the seats being uncomfortable at all, the handles felt fine, and the leg bar didn’t bother me at all. I was also amazed at the lockers, they had a double door (a door on each side.) we noticed this because the first thing we put in was the first thing to come out, and vice versa! Also they do offer a opportunity outside the ride to test out the seats, with two mock ones, just in case you are worried about the fit. The ride goes super fast, which is amazing if you’re a thrill seeker or speed demon like me.

My 6 year old son wigged the hell out on this ride and was crying. It was hilarious. This was his first big roller coaster.

I’m going for my 30th birthday to Disneyland and I might ride this ride
I’m nearly 60. It was great. If you are heavy set and not nimble, you’re going to have a difficult time but not impossible to fit. If you think it’s going to be an issue, there is a model as you enter the ride to try for yourself. If not? Just ride the cart. All good.

Huh... just went to Knotts Berry farm and rode the admittedly depressingly short pony express and i feel like some notes could certainly be taken for comfort of the carts..
I want on this ride is soooo worth the wait it sooooooo fun

It’s awesome, seats and seating position are fine. Ride is just not long enough but still awesome
I’m 66 and rode it and I was perfectly fine. No discomfort at all. I thought it was lots of fun
Reminds me of the horse ride at Knotts berry farm in California
Neat roller coaster its all about how you adjust your self at times too
I loved this ride! So cool for magic kingdom. My husband hated it, he was super uncomfortable and had neck pain the whole time. It’s not for everyone for sure.
My favorite ride right here is is a little uncomfortable but it is still worth it
ride is super fun i had no problems and was super comfortable i didn’t even notice the metal leg bar! i rode it twice i liked it so much!
I rode it a couple of times! It was pretty fun. I would always want to go again. Nighttime would be a good time to go because you can get to see the lights. It is also faster at night

I was lucky to get on it the day it opened it was so fun it was March or April last year the Queue wasn’t that big because it was virtual queue

Six of us went on Tron during our trip in May. All six of us were disappointed. No desire to ride it again. By comparison, we went on Guardians of the Galaxy 3 times.
The seat isn’t that uncomfortable because it gives you a little room to move around but it is an amazing ride and a really cool experience
Just got back from WDW last week and rode Tron twice. It was comfortable and I didn't notice the handle bar being rough. I really enjoyed it both times with no problems. My only complaint is that the ride is super short. Wish it were longer.

Now wait a sec cause ive never been to anything disney ever, bjt i was thinking of going on this ride. But the leg space looks too small for our family, we range from 5ft 10in to 6ft 6in(besides the 10yr old who would NOT ride this lol)would we even be ABLE to ride it? 😅

I got to ride it recently. I’m a fan of Tron so I was beyond excited. It was much fun and that speed is ridiculous irl! Definitely my new favorite ride in all of Disney World. Only thing I don’t like is how short it is and the virtual queue junk (worst thing ever created).
We rode before it even opened, it was the day they were “testing” it I guess. I’m assuming it was the 2nd of April. We tried to get it the next day, an realized that it wasn’t opening until the 4th. I found no issue with the seats being uncomfortable at all, the handles felt fine, and the leg bar didn’t bother me at all. I was also amazed at the lockers, they had a double door (a door on each side.) we noticed this because the first thing we put in was the first thing to come out, and vice versa! Also they do offer a opportunity outside the ride to test out the seats, with two mock ones, just in case you are worried about the fit. The ride goes super fast, which is amazing if you’re a thrill seeker or speed demon like me.
I laterally just went on on that ride in Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party 😂
My whole fam said that it was soo comfortable and it was!!! It was amazing
