I have a 52" simplicity citation with the 23 HP Vanguard. I don't know how it compares to yours exactly but do you have a video for replacing the starter motor?
Hello there, I have the same issue. But when i put the test gauge or manometer on each hose, its leaking where the hose sat. I get pressure on the manometer but its leaking out where the hose sat. Any ideas?
@@builditright4666 thank you. I mow five acres just outside of KC. I always use my JDs. Bought this one from a customer of mine for about what you paid in similar condition for a project, it’s been fun learning all the hydro stuff. Stout little machine. I’m almost finished had to order a new left wheel motor but it’s a Oregon brand. I bought two motors actually invade there’s a difference in performance they are coming as a pair. Thanks for getting back. Your videos helped a lot. 👍
ua-cam.com/video/6E0Q2Obaih8/v-deo.html&t Subscribe to the channel then fix your mower please . by the way I just mowed with mine yesterday still works great.
No way it’s the pump. If you have 2500 psi in reverse then the pump is working fine . It would be in the drive motor . Your pump doesn’t change direction. There is a valve system controlling the flow of the oil driving the motor . Just my 2 cents

No sir but I bet you can figure it out.

Do you know what size fitting is needed to make that tester for the hoses?
not right off but it was all stuff from the hardware store
What line did you use for your test. Upper/lower A/B? Greatly appreciate it. Thx!
tested all of them mostly just to compare pressures.
In series then. Thx!
@@oldkicker8958 I just unhooked both lines and tested them individually. oil and pressure will only come out of them when the drive levers are moved

What did you end up doing?
I fixed it. I think there is a video where its all finished up.
Do you happen to know what size fittings you needed for that gauge. Mine is doing the same thing and I want to test it before I open it up
