How do you take out the solenoid? Just force it out at the gold-plated contacts? I wonder why the Factory forbids the use of ultrasonic cleaners, i was readingthat in the manual.
Hello, I put a new Delphi nozzle and return valve kit on my injectors. I assembled it exactly like in your video. My car started after a few attempts, the car is running well, accelerating normally and getting good fuel consumption. But I hear a noise around 2,000 rpm like a frufrufru... I didn't do the diesel return test to see if any injectors are failing. Do you know what the problem could be? Thanks And happy new year!
Hi! Some noise is normal for the first few kilometers due to air that got in the system. However, if you’re way past 100km and there’s still some injector noise, try retightening the injector clamps to spec and make sure the injectors are seated properly
The first time I assembled these injectors, I assembled them with a kit from Aliexpress. Lasted 30 thousand km. this time I used the original Delphi kits. I did all the tightening with the torque wrench at 60nm. Yes, for the first 30/40 km there was a loud crack, crack, crack, and then they went silent. Hi! These delphi injectors require a fuel rail pressure reading of around 4200psi and up when cranking before the ECU will energize the injectors to start. Best to bleed the fuel lines first with the injector plugs disconnected until you get a decent amount of cranking rail pressure (use a scanner with live data stream) before cranking it with the injector plugs connected. Also, starting these injectors without bleeding them thoroughly often results in air lock
Just suck on the return line for a minute with a vacuum pump, you can find points on the high pressure fuel pump or on the filter (and block off the other hole if you hear air being sucked in again). I have been using one from Sealey that works on my air compresser for +10 years. Still sucks like a champion. :)
And on some cars you'll need to turn the ignition on so it's best to do that as wel. But listen carefully, because some also have electrical fuel pumps in the tank, that you don't get sprayed when taking of a fuel hose. If you have one like that just cycle the iginition on/off for 10-20 times. Some can be a real pain in the ass to get started, been there done that. But a good suck on the return line always does the trick.

How do you remove the large pin on the second part of the disassemble , I notice you you used some king of force to assemble it , can you explain how to remove it ?
Hi Josh, you have to push the other end up (where the connector goes) with a flat head screw driver but be careful not to bend the pins. There’s two pins on that end but pushing just the longer one straight up is enough. Just keep the screw driver horizontally flat. It’ll have some resistance since the solenoid end has a rubber O-ring on it but It’ll go with a few push. Check 1:29 (bottom end)

Dont do it at home.the injector after being opened it must have a new calibration on the test bench. This is a nice video to show but so wrong.
you can calibrate with diagnostics delphi? do you?
The calibration must be mechanical not by software. Delphi injector coil dont have to be removed.the sensitive part in this injector is ils valve.
