    Great lesson. You are a great teacher and amazing musician. I can play songs, but you play the instrument. I was just getting bored with 1,4,5 stuff, thanks.

    Hey, I've been following your videos for a couple months now, and I've built a couple cbgs because I couldn't afford a regular guitar, and it's really cool to see all the things that can be done with these instruments.

    Fantastic lesson here Justin. I had an epiphany while watching this one as to how to use this on the 6 string as well. The lesson I’ve been looking for for fourth years. Thanks for what you do. Inspiration man! I’ll get the CD.

    it's not possible to play with just fingers on a fretless guitar? if so, how do stand up bass players do it?

    • @justinjohnsonlive
      @justinjohnsonlive  8 років тому

      It is possible to fret with your fingers on a fretless guitar, but the string height must be very low in order to do so. Most fretless guitars that are setup for slide Blues playing have higher action that is great for slide guitar, but not conducive to playing fretless with your fingers.

    • @chrismosley409
      @chrismosley409 8 років тому

      Ok. I remember now that you said if the strings are too high, they can note sharp if pushed down too far. So, I guess you have to get the action just right to do both on the same guitar. By the way, love the rooster blues. Glad I found your channel. Thanks for the reply.
