How come the reel rejects don't do trailer reactions anymore?
39:59. As a whole this movie is ok, but this Doc Brown cameo scene was the funniest part of it for me.
❤
(Comedy) Movies to watch: The Ringer, Date Night , Jo Koy Don't Make Him Angry Netflix , Fired up , Benchwarmers , Cellular , Fluffy's Magic Mike Story , Stadium Fluffy Netflix
Monkeys? Take a seat
They should've made that Doc Brown scene part of a running gag. Wouldn't it have been hilarious if you rewatch the movie, BTTF 3 is going on in the background?
That's why the Parkinsons joke was an 11 on the f*cked up scale 😂😂😂
@clevelandcbi I know sometimes Seth let's people in on the joke. Like Marlee Matlin with the deaf jokes. I really hope that was the case here but I'm afraid it might not be.
It's a shame during the scene with the train the Delorean wasn't in front of it.
@@matthewpaul6904Or Seyfried obviously with the big eye jokes. Her going face to face with Gollum in Ted 2 was hilarious. Even Mark Wahlberg said he read the script and got nervous😂
Too bad Michael J. Fox wasn't available.
40:00 “It’s Doc Brown working on an invention” DUDE, THAT WAS SO AWESOME
So cool
this film is underrated before their 10th anniversary
The fact your two picks for fave westerns supplied two of the cheeky cameos made my day.
Nice
39:59. As a whole this movie is ok, but this Doc Brown cameo scene was the funniest part of it for me.
Still can't get over the fact that Cheddar Bob from 8 Mile was in this movie. 😂😂
😂 😂 😂 I spot him in so many films and I'm always like "hey... It's cheddar bob!" that's just his whole identity now
I watched this movie back in 2014 and to this day that Doc Brown cameo is my fave cameo of anything ever 😁 The fact that Andrew made that joke just before it happened, though, omg 🤣
Yes, Ryan Reynolds had a cameo in Ted 😂 they even say 'the Ryan Reynolds look a like'
He doesn't say a word in the Ted movies either 😂
Yes and he didn’t say anything then either. Played Patrick Warburton’s bf
35:35 thought they would've caught that it is referencing the same dance he did in Ted.
I was about to say
@@davidcolon5641 that he's gay?
As soon as he mentioned Back to the future 3 i knew he'd be in for a nice surprise, but to call it as a joke right before was genuinely a good time😂
"Dude, have you ever had sex???"
*"Well, there was some shit with my uncle..."* 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
- I literally spit out my popcorn. So glad nobody was in front of me.
Love how you both named your favorite westerns as Djano and BTTF 3 because i knew they were gonna show up in the movie lmao
Charlize Theron still had a shaven head from filming Mad Max Fury Road and wore a wig the whole time. She and Liam Neeson also had guest roles on The Orville with Seth.
I loved it! You saying Doc Brown and then Albert opened the door and it was Doc Brown! LOL
"People die at the fair." I don't know why that line cracks me up so much????😂😂😂😂❤❤
I quote it all the time, people have no idea what I'm talking about hahaha
I hope this inspires them or any of the people on this channel to watch the Ted tv show and even 🤞🤞 The Orville.
The Orville, love it. Ted too. Twas a nice surprise
Ted TV show is a must
The Orville was a pretty cool show.
Another subtle Back To The Future 3 reference- The Old Prospector was played by Matt Clark, who played the bartender in BTTF 3.
Lol I love how you guys had the EXACT same reaction to the Ice drop as the characters on screen.
Seth MacFarlane is such a talented guy. As someone who isn’t that that into Family Guy or American Dad, I’d encourage everybody to check out his other works. I had never really watched/read any sci-fi before I stumbled across his more recent show, The Orville. I absolutely love the show and it sparked an interest in the sci-fi genre for me. I’m also excited to check out the Cosmos series he produced that features Neil deGrasse Tyson. Plus, the dude can singgggg.
And he can sing while in a character's voice as well. He does it all the time in Family Guy and American Dad, and he also did it as the mouse character (I cannot recall the name off the top of my head) from the movie Sing.
i like family guy and american dad but yes lots of things he does is awesome
Seth did a Carpool Karaoke segment for Apple TV with Ariana Grande. They sang show tunes. He also recorded an album with Liz Gilles via Zoom during the Pandemic. Liz appeared in a season 3 episode of The Orville.
The first time I watched this movie I laughed so hard I peed my pants 😂😂😂
Personal highlights
15:30 Oohhh, the ice...
24:30 People die in the fair
42:12 Not the old man swatting away the guy reaching for his hat.
I watched this religiously when it first came out. So damn funny. Glad to see you guys check it out. Been on a roll with some golden films lately!
That phrase works better with TV shows than it does with movies.
@ReelRejects yeah he was buying Trix from Ted at the grocery and he kept asking if it’s specifically for children
51:10 seth spun the wrong way when getting hit with the rock, i just noticed this after watching like 10 times
The Ryan Reynolds cameo was indeed in Ted (1), he played the guy who beat up Patrick Warburton's character and then they fell in love.
Patrick's character had a new boyfriend in Ted 2 played by Michael Dorn.
This movie’s so underrated! Lol
50:19 Fun Fact: This is the train from Back to the Future 3
🤓
Liam Neeson really didn’t need to give %100 for this film, but thank god he did cause he’s legitimately scary
A live action cartoon. We need more of these.
7:23 because of how long it took to take a photo. By the time they took the photo your face would be tired and you’d look uneasy. 45:34 yes he did . He was Patrick Warburton’s lover during Ted’s party when Flash Gordon showed up. 1:08:59 i completely forgot about the Doc Brown scene.
I love this movie, but more than this movie, I love Seth MacFarlane. I love everything he does and creates. He's the kind of writer and artist I aspire to be.
I adore him too! Also the fact he and I are atheists
@@misshell you admire someone because they have no belief in something?
I love how both of your favorite Westerns are those two specific movies.
1:07:54 One thing you're forgetting about that moment, she wasn't alone with him. Not really. The rest of the gang walked away and left them some space, but they'd have still be close enough that had she shot him, she'd have never gotten away. So as much sense as it might make to just kill him it fails to account for her wanting to live so she could see, and be with, Albert again. Not to mention the fact that she's not a stone cold killer the same way that Clinch was. We don't see her kill anybody the whole film, so it wouldn't fit her character as we had seen it up to that point.
1:08:10 That scene was less for the audience and more to continue to display what an awkward doofus Albert was at his core.
1:08:41 The movie wasn't about them though. Also the movie studio may have made them cut the length of the film down to only be so long (which is quite common), so there may have been some stuff cut from the film either before filming, or after, that wasn't fixed with story edits. That would also explain how Ruth knew Anna without them having been shown meeting. Then again we don't see Ruth at the dance, but Edward was shown there so it is entirely possible they got introduced then. Or some other time off camera during the many days that passed by either in montage or just skipped over entirely for keeping the story moving.
Agree with all of this!
They used to stay stone faced in pictures because it took so long for a photo to be taken. Nobody could keep one expression for the entire exposure time.
This movie is so damn underrated
Ok, this might be a good reason why she didn't kill his husband: It would be murder, and she would be tried and hanged. For some reason, if you do it in a duel in front of a lot of people, it doesn't count.
Also not everyone can kill in cold blood. Usually that's what a psychopath does.
@10:24 "I died laughing 😂"I heard you fart once and it went fuufaugh" he played drunk to perfection 😆
I love this film, this shows the high quality around raunchy with a good story, like that's my boy. Also must say I love the two very specific westerns that came to their minds cameo here 😂😂
I didn't expect much when seeing this the first time, waited to rent it didn't see it in theaters.......but my god was it funny as hell!!!! The writing was supreme and the outtakes just show how much fun was had on set, really with Seth MacFarlane would direct more movies. Really got a strong Mel Brooks vibe from this and I feel he could easily keep cranking out high quality comedies if given the chance
1:27
me who's seen the movie: oh they're in for a treat.
"I'm over fart jokes."
Turn in your man card NOW.
I know women who can appreciate fart jokes.
@@kevinnelson66 That's wife material.
Such an underrated movie and a favorite of mine! Wish more reactors would do this one!
A subtle joke that very few could spot. 53:39 Seth says milakunis & the subtitle reads "Fine"! Mila Kunis is Fine! I don't disagree!!! 😂😂
I think the reason they usually didn't smile in old photographs was because of the technology at the time, required they stand as still as possible while the image was captured. Holding a smile must have not been recommended just incase the image came out distorted and horror-inducing.
even early cameras didn't take all that long, the main reason people didn't smile in photographs is because they were seen as a cheaper way to have a portrait done, so you would approach it with the same attitude as if you were posing for someone to paint your portrait which in the European based culture of the time was considered a serious matter
If you liked some of the dramatic bits as much as the comedy then I would very much recommend Seth's _The Orville._ It pretty much flips the ratio of drama to comedy.
Especially New Horizons(season 3) on Hulu.
Great Reaction Aaron and Andrew! 👍
Seeing Django was the best cameo
But u guys should of watched the extended
It’s 20 minutes longer with more cameos like Kaley Cuoco & u see how Albert’s mom died
I'm curious to see all the bloopers and out-takes, and exactly how much was improv. This must've been a fun time...
So glad someone reacted to this! Such an underrated movie!
The best line in the whole fucking movie and you cut away ! 😢. “ take your hat off boy that’s a dollar bill “😂😂😂.
This film is underrated imo , sure the comedy can be a bit childish but the serious scenes with Seth and Charlize are great and it’s a wholesome film with good life lessons.
When you said your favorite Western movie was Bttf3.. I got excited. 🤣
His cameo I believe the first Ted Ryan Reynolds was Warburton partner Midway through the movie. It was funny but unclever bit lol
35:36 OMG!! I don't remember this Ted reference. XD
People rarely smiled in old West photos because the exposure time was several minutes and you had to hold your position or you'd end up with blurry pics.
on the photo's in the movie they said 30 seconds, but often you could take up to minutes, hell they some times put you in a metal frame to help keep you in place. The idea is you have to keep the smile that long even 30 seconds might be a bit much and move.
I know in movies it's easy to be logical and say "she should have just killed him" and then say "it's because of the plot" etc etc But maybe, she's just not a killer, at least not in cold blood with an unconscious man. I mean she could have just poisoned Foy, but she just gave him a laxative.
Just wondering if you guys are covering Love Punch Kill? For obvious reasons
The best western, the best parody and the best fart joke. All blazing saddles.
I totally forgot about the Django cameo that’s hilarious
Andrew is a star 👏 best reactions and reviews across channels now
All the happiness for helping her feel better ❤
26:35 LMAO. I love how awkwardly disturbed they both looked.
Yes, another reaction to this underrated masterpiece!
Yes. Thanks for reacting to this movie. It's friggin hilarious.
The Parkinson's joke was SO effed up when you see Doc Brown appear later.
Check out Tombstone, or Young Guns 1 & 2 from the early 90’s great westerns
The mom and dad are like the courage cartoon with the grumpy dad
It was nice to see Doc Brown, but I do wish they gave him & McFarlane an actual scene to share, or possibly make Doc Brown the town blacksmith or something that Albert needs to buy something from. Otherwise, that scene was more of a post-credit scene. Also GREAT that McFarlane has his little ensemble. Also, LOVED seeing Ribisi doing his creepy TED dance 😄
"Will somebody shoot something?"-Hollywood Babble On co-host Ralph Garman
14:30 I'm sorry, but that line is by far the funniest in the whole film. It only works because it is from so far out of left field. Fart jokes may be old/stale/over done, but the fact that it, "came from my penis," makes it funny when it normally wouldn't have been.
Pot brownies get u high but u don't trip unless ur a newbie
Seth Macfarlane pointed out in an interview for this movie that giant mustaches like the one NPH had were clearly penis substitutes. He said and I quote “The idea back then was that if you had a big bushy mustache you had a big bushy….but you see that’s never the case.”😂😂
I did same thing with doc brown 😂 you guys did great
Every movie or show that has Seth MacFarlane music sounds like family guy music.
It Makes sense Seth would get both Ewan McGregor and Christopher Llyod to make cameos. since he is a big fan of both Star Wars and Back to The Future and he refences both franchises in Family Guy as well.
One of my favorite comedies!
fun fact: Charlize Theron had a wig on, she had just finished Fury Road and had her hair shaved.
Loved this movie when I saw it in theaters
47:00 Yep, I don't liek that in movies. When there is an obvious easy solution and they just say F it, I'll deal with the problems later
24:15 Looks like a person photo.reference Angels in the Outfield 1994.
Guessing the guys haven’t seen Ted! They’d recognize Ribise dance from that.
Scrolling then saw thumbnail and thought it's ONE PIECE live for a second 😂😂😂
I've never seen a dollar is the actor Ralph Gorman.
Kevin's Smith's Hollywood Babble On buddy. There was an episode of HBO where Ralph had the moustache. He referenced that he was filming Seth MacFarlane's new movie set in the old west. He said he would "shave the moustache, get a haircut, and be all pretty again."
How did y'all miss the outtakes including their gag on Seyfreid's "Gollum-eyes"! Or was that in Ted's outtakes?
Fun fact: Charlize Theron is wearing a wig for the entire movie because her head was still shaved from playing Furiosa.
she didnt kill him because she thought the embarrassment would finish him off kidding aside i think they thought it was funnier to plant a daisy in his buttcrack than to kill him in that moment i dont agree or disagree but i do say what they may have thought great reaction guys!
He absolutely had a cameo and he also didn't have a line in ted
FYI.... Tumbleweed was a new phobia unlocked when I so happened to move to Vegas that exact year n didn't even see this yet.... They're alive n will cut ur throat!!😂
Seth was dating Charlize Theron during production. Mark Wahlberg should have had a cameo.
They didn't smile in photos because the shutter speed was really slow. It could take five seconds for the picture to expose. Five seconds you need to hold perfectly still. Any movement became a blur. You had to hold rigidly still. Also, life sucked pretty hard. Victorians were not fond of smiling or laughing.
Believe it or not one of my favorite movies!😂
He was named Gilbert.
40:00 Called it 😅
When’s The Gentleman movie reaction coming out
yes ryan reynolds was in ted with no lines as well 😂
27:22 "Let us see the dollar" isnt that the Drinking Bros podcast dude?
In terms of why she didn't shoot Clint after knocking him out. The men they were with are still close by... Not within earshot that they would hear the conversation but they would definitely hear a gunshot and come to where they were, seen Clint was dead and just shot her dead.
What a nice movie. So different
