Can I be completely honest? All these years watching the Twilight movies, I actually didn't mind Kristen Stewart's portrayal as Bella. I've always liked her mannerisms in the role. She captures like the ticks and awkwardness of a socially insecure person who spends a lot of time alone and admit to herself that she was uninteresting. Felt more genuine to me than most teen performances these days of someone who’s supposed to be “awkward". Was it the best performance that she has given or in this genre particularly?? Maybe not, but was it the best portrayal that her character was supposed to do? In my opinion, absolutely. So yeah, I think Kristen was casted perfectly for Bella
😂 That's why I go to the movies anyway, to gawk at attractive people, immerse in fantasies. 🍎 To that extent, every major character in TWILIGHT was perfectly cast, appropriate, just absolutely gorgeous!

I was literally forced to watch these movies as a little boy because me and my mom lived at my Aunts house at one point and it consisted of 3 teenage girls 1 pre teen girl, 1 Aunt and my mom that were all OBSESSED with Edward and Jacob. There were only 2 other boys in the house not including my uncle, but we were completely outnumbered. 💜 Oh the good ol' days.
Back when it came out, the baseball scene was the coolest thing i've ever seen in a movie. But now rewatching it all these years later, i mean, it's cool but what the hell??? Just pure confused 😂😂😂
I unironically love this series now lmao. I was born in 1993 and I remember the Twilight book era at school. This is the best movie out of the series in my opinion. Hope you guys have fun! When you realize the author is Mormon, it all makes sense. People were really mean to Kristen Stewart about these films but I think she does a great job. Her and Rob Pattinson are great in this no matter how ridiculous they get.
It’s absolutely ridiculous how much fun I had watching you both react to this! Probably as much as I had watching it in theaters- man this movie franchise was something else. Just a fun time to go to the movies.
This was just what I needed in my life today!!! Truly love these two together and John blushing and fanning himself was everything. Now.... don't know if this has been mentioned, but has anyone told these two about the fan fiction Fifty Shades of Grey situation? I really want to see their faces when they find out. LOL. Greg, please have these two react to ALL the Twilight movies! And if Andrew and Tara have not seen Twilight I am begging for that reaction video as well. Thanks for making my day so much better than it was going!
Can’t wait for New Moon y’all’s reaction was great!! I was really hoping you guys would be into the series as a whole and yall didn’t disappoint LETZ GO!!!!!
I love that you both enjoyed this!! I still love Twilight! - though maybe not as much as I did when I was... 19? back in the day. I saw this first movie in theatre and then read all of the books as soon as I could! And as often as I could. I would take whatever book I was on to work - those large hefty books - and read them during every break I had. And then I would read them at home before and after my online college courses. I prefer the books over the movies, but I do still enjoy the movies from time to time. Usually in the background while I am cleaning or working on a project. But then, I have always loved vampire stories. I have read the original vampire story, Dracula by Bram Stoker but I've also read modern vampire authors like Amelia Atwater Rhodes, Ellen Schieber, and Amanda Ashley. I've seen so many Dracula movies including the original silent movie and all of the modern adaptations: Dracula 2000 and so on. The Anne Rice adaptations: Interview with a Vampire and Queen of the Damned. A bunch of individual movies. And TV shows including The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, Buffy and the spinoff Angel, A Discovery of Witches, WWDITS and quite a few more. I've even seen a bunch of vampire anime like Blood+, Blood Lad, Vampire Knight, Castlevania and Devils Line. I have experienced the spectrum of vampire media and one thing I can say about Stephenie Meyer is that she broke away from traditional vampires and made her own unique vamps. There is a reason for everything. Including why they sparkle. If you liked the movie, I suggest the books. The movies are their own thing but the books have so much more to them.
i LOVE how you both but especially Roxy listens and watches intently and has the same fuzzy feeling and thrill watching this movie even as a grown adult that we had when we were in high school when it came out. thank you for that! i see people making too much fun of it or talk over most of it and miss dialogues or the build up of emotions and relationships but none of that nonsense here
12:00 you’re one of the only people I’ve seen who noticed this. in the new twilight book called midnight sun (twilight from edward’s perspective) he was literally imagining himself killing everyone in the room and then drinking her blood because he was so effected by the smell of it which is why he needed to get away from her even though he didn’t really want to.
Pulling up just for the commentary lol Roxy’s specifically lmao. I’ve seen these movies so many times and looking forward to this watch hope we are doing the full saga
24 reference! The dad played by Billy Burke, was in season 2 of 24. He was the crazy father who was hitting on Elisha Cuthbert's character, who was babysitting his daughter in the show.
Also Hayley actually wrote Decode in mind of the movie, she loved the book so much she really wanted to be in on it and tried to get the song on there and succeeded❤
I love when reactors watch this saga & actually take it for what it is instead of shitting on it bc ~iTs tWiLiGhT~ lol like yes, it’s cheesy & intense & “so bad it’s good” (almost 2 decades later) but that’s why so many of us love it so much 😂😭😭😭 there’s a sentimental & nostalgic attachment that comes along with these movies so I just love this 😅👏🏼 Can’t wait to see the rest!!! ✨🐀
This is my first time seeing youll react to something. You'll are awesom. Roxy the way you werent an instant hater is so refreshing. Its nice to see twilight love and Kristen love, she nailed the way bella was in the books. And john you are a vibe. Its great to see a male in good spirits when it comes to twilight.
There is literally nothing better than watching people watch Twilight for the first time. It's the best thing to witness. I loved that Roxy and John kept an open mind and gave it credit where it was due. Love that the hating on Twilight phase is finally over and people can appreciate it for what it was.
Kristen and Robert's acting in this was tackled so hard by people...They said it was awkward.....DUH! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE! Thank ya'll for acknowledging it, it was PERFECT teen cringe acting!
Jumper was actually not her first movie, her first movie was “catch that kid” it was a heist movie. 3 teenagers rob a bank to pay for her fathers medication.
I’ve laughed harder at this twilight reaction than I have at any other twilight reaction! I will say that I grew up near several of the filming locations (the cafe, the boulder scene location, and the greenhouse field trip location were within 10 min of my house and the beach, and school are about 1.5-3 hours away) so it’s always fun to see people talk about how pretty everything is!
I think the gap in the two front teeth you were thinking of was from the Decode music video for Twilight. Hayley Williams used to have a gap in her front teeth. Iconic MV so it wouldn’t surprise me if you have seen it despite never watching the movie.
the “oh my god” that left my mouth when roxy said “are these based off books?”😂😭 fun fact: the shot at 20:08 where edward catches and cradles the apple is a nod to the cover of the book 😉 also it’s a huge compliment to the cast +crew of the movie that you guys said the action scenes were made like they knew the movie was gonna be a big hit cuz it’s the opposite, this was supposed to be a chill low budget indie film based off the first book and the cast and crew had 0 expectation that it would blow up & be picked up to develop all the books as movies! but you guys should definitely react to the rest of the series, as cringy as the story can be, the production and acting is top notch
Roxy’s reaction to Edward & Bella’s first interaction killed me 💀 Because the way “can I help you?” would have left my mouth the very second someone next to me stared like that lol
All these years later I still love the song sung by Rob Pattinson when he’s sucking out the venom. Now you’ve gotta finish watching the rest of the saga. 😉 I often put on my playlist with the fantastic songs featured in these films. Loving that you guys are experiencing this for the first time. I was in my mid-20’s when the books were being hyped and saw each film when they hit the theaters. Ah memories! 😊 I lived In Bremerton WA (not far from Forks and Port Angeles…yup they exist) and the atmosphere and weather in this film is very true to life on the peninsula.
Fun Fact : According to director Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart had to kiss guys every 2 hours during the Edward Cullen audition. By the time Robert Pattinson came as the last one, after he kissed Kristen, he passed out and she immediately told the director that Robert should be the one to play Edward

This is EVERYTHING. Thank you for this gift. LOL
A Twilight reaction?! On my birthday?! Yayyyyy!!!!!!!
Happy birthday
happy birthday
Happy birthday!!!
Happy Twilight!
this is such a good reaction and im so glad yall went in actually giving it a chance. i cant wait to see yall watch the rest of the movies!!
Back when it came out, the baseball scene was the coolest thing i've ever seen in a movie. But now rewatching it all these years later, i mean, it's cool but what the hell??? Just pure confused 😂😂😂
HAHA I felt and feel the same!
Roxy immediately being invested in Bella and Edward’s melodramatic dynamic is so real and I love that she enjoyed it
I unironically love this series now lmao.
Born in ‘92 & remembering the og craze for it is a core memory 🥲
It’s absolutely ridiculous how much fun I had watching you both react to this! Probably as much as I had watching it in theaters- man this movie franchise was something else. Just a fun time to go to the movies.
40:54 “Just like living in a house full of disco balls.” 😂
Yeah, I laughed at that one as well.
Please do them all quickly!! I hate having to wait a long time in between movies. Love you guys, as always.
Ahhh the nostalgia. Brings me back to middle school. 😂
Nikki Reid who plays Rosalie is married to Ian Somerhalder who is Damon in Vampire Diaries 😊 sexy vamps together
Can’t wait for New Moon y’all’s reaction was great!! I was really hoping you guys would be into the series as a whole and yall didn’t disappoint LETZ GO!!!!!
Please react to the whole enchilada. I’m a huge fan of your channel and love your reactions. You need to watch all of the “Twilight” movies for sure!
You guys have made this 63yr old African American grandma day with your humor/reaction. Thank you. God bless 🖤🖤🖤
Red Flags 🚩🚩🚩 everywhere 😂
BADD MEDICINE?! my favorite dad squad
Ironically Bella and Edward deserve each other. Wouldn't want to make someone else suffer in a relationship with either red flag.
@46:20
Roxy: This is reminding me of you...
John: wAT?
😅😅😅 John you sneakin' into ppls windowd while they sleep ?
I laughed out loud so hard at that, because I was even confused at first hahah
i LOVE how you both but especially Roxy listens and watches intently and has the same fuzzy feeling and thrill watching this movie even as a grown adult that we had when we were in high school when it came out. thank you for that! i see people making too much fun of it or talk over most of it and miss dialogues or the build up of emotions and relationships but none of that nonsense here
Watched this whole reaction and review from start to end, loved it! Can’t wait for you guys to watch the rest of the Saga!
Plllllleaase watch the others omg! You guys have the best reaction I've seen so far, I love it!!
I love that yall are giving twilight a chance and do not instantly hate on the acting and the plot. ❤ looking forward to the new moon reaction 😢❤
24 reference! The dad played by Billy Burke, was in season 2 of 24. He was the crazy father who was hitting on Elisha Cuthbert's character, who was babysitting his daughter in the show.
The guy who played Phil was also in 24!
Also Hayley actually wrote Decode in mind of the movie, she loved the book so much she really wanted to be in on it and tried to get the song on there and succeeded❤
Alice & Jesper literally the best characters in this franchise!!!
They’re literally not. Charlie is.
@@Hey_Jamieremember when he appreciated jacob for assualting his daughter
Charlie Swan >>>>>
Alice and Charlie*
I'll never get over Jasper being a confederate soldier.
You do know the Civil War wasn't just about slavery, right??? I feel people hear Confederate and instantly think slave owners lol.
Ok subbed just to see you two continue this escapade into the rest of them!
I love when reactors watch this saga & actually take it for what it is instead of shitting on it bc ~iTs tWiLiGhT~ lol
like yes, it’s cheesy & intense & “so bad it’s good” (almost 2 decades later) but that’s why so many of us love it so much 😂😭😭😭 there’s a sentimental & nostalgic attachment that comes along with these movies so I just love this 😅👏🏼
Can’t wait to see the rest!!! ✨🐀
Ok you HAVE to watch Interview with Vampire now
They definitely do!
29:00 she summed up every "little toxic" romcom ever.AND I LOVE IT 😂
This is my first time seeing youll react to something. You'll are awesom. Roxy the way you werent an instant hater is so refreshing. Its nice to see twilight love and Kristen love, she nailed the way bella was in the books. And john you are a vibe. Its great to see a male in good spirits when it comes to twilight.
I truly think the main reason ppl love this series is bc of the soundtrack and ambiance alone
There is literally nothing better than watching people watch Twilight for the first time. It's the best thing to witness. I loved that Roxy and John kept an open mind and gave it credit where it was due. Love that the hating on Twilight phase is finally over and people can appreciate it for what it was.
“Where the hell have you been loca” is on the second movie 😂😂😂
Kristen and Robert's acting in this was tackled so hard by people...They said it was awkward.....DUH! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE! Thank ya'll for acknowledging it, it was PERFECT teen cringe acting!
Roxy’s reaction is everything, looking forward to the rest of the series!
LOVED THE REACTION!!!! These two need to react to THE WHOLE SERIES!!!! Just these 2❤️❤️🥰🥰
So excited you guys are doing this series!!! 😁❤
Jumper was actually not her first movie, her first movie was “catch that kid” it was a heist movie. 3 teenagers rob a bank to pay for her fathers medication.
LETS GOOOOOO🎉 man the best series ever made 😂 Roxy and John have me dying laughing ❤❤ please do the whole series !!!!
Okay fine we will! Hahah
since I've not seen a comment confirming it yet, yes Forks is a real place in WA and the Quileute tribe are also real!
First movie I remember Kristen in is "Catch That Kid"(2004) with Corbin Bleu and Max Theriot. I watched it on repeat as a kid.
I Can't wait to see the reactions to all of the movies. Love this franchise and I love to see other people appreciating it
I’ve laughed harder at this twilight reaction than I have at any other twilight reaction!
Oh I can't wait to follow along with you guys watching these iconic movies!!!
Twilight is so nostalgic 😭
Ready for this journey
Roxy: Are these based off books?
The immediate side eye from John was epic!😂
„WHY WONT THEY KISS!?!?“ 😂😂😂😂 ahahahha I cantu
loved LOVED this reaction! Roxy especially, so fun 😊
I’ll take things that never happened for $500
@@simplebull210he actually was the last one to audition and they saw they had instant chemistry. Idk about everything else tho
It’s so refreshing to see a reaction where people aren’t just crapping on the movie! Love it.
