I am your follower since many years ago Sebastian. A huge part of my collection is based on your opinion. Being a Mexican, I was happy to hear that your favorite spirit is Tequila . Best wishes from Guadalajara, Mexico.
I fell in love with Eau Givree. When my girlfriend asked me which fragrance I want for my birthday this year, I told her either D&G Light Blue Italian Love or Terre D'Hermes Eau Givree.
No gin for me but I adore juniper. Especially in the rain. Juniper goes amazingly with old roses in a cold climate garden and I have always loved the combination in the frosty end of season garden, I don’t know about the berries but the leaves themselves have that balsamic note - adore! I am taking lots of notes in this session, I want I try them all…. Love it thanks!
I'm wearing a nice juniper-oriented scent: the discontinued Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Ginepro di Sardegna. Juniper, nutmeg, allspice and pepper. Soft, slightly powdery, warm and pleasant, not cold icy and bracing. One of my favorite bracing and "cold" juniper scents is Creed Royal Water. The Terre d'Hermes Eau Givrée is very good too.
My first memory of the juniper note is Juniper Breeze from Bath & Body Works. That was my absolute favorite as a teenager. Diptyque Eau Des Sens and MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold have a lovely juniper note.
I love aromatic woody fragrances that are not sharp or lean very masculine. As a woman, I love for these fragrances to remind me of hiking through Iceland, Swiss Alps and Canadian national parks. I love OJ Ormonde Woman and Philosykos. Can you suggest any others in the femme leaning group?🩶💚🤎
The combo of grapefruit, white musk, light woods and fizzy ambroxan in Tygar really reminds me of a gin and tonic. Even though there is no juniper berry. That is why I like Tygar so much. My favorite cocktail year around.
Love me some gin. My default drink...Bluecoat Gin w/ Fever-Tree's Mediterranean Tonic, or I'll do it with FT's Sparkling Cucumber Tonic. Great lineup. I've been wearing Isola Blu all summer. Can't get enough of it. Gget my nose on the Ormonde Jayne too.
There's one by OSM called Tarheels & Tonic, which captures a just-after-finishing-college-and-cheering-the-moment-with-mates-whilst-looking-forward-to-an-unfamiliar-future, precious melancholia vibe.
I love juniper in scents on the strip but they go extremely masculine on my skin! I guess I just love them from afar. We had a juniper berry bush out in front of my house as a kid that was massive and I remember squishing them in my fingers.
I love juniper, particularly in green fragrances that utilize cypress, vetiver or virginian cedar. My nose used to confuse it with rosemary early on, but they've each got their own characteristics. Bang on with Juniper Sling!
Lots of cool and crisp fragrances listed here! I really need to get my nose on Thomas De Monaco Grand Beau and Mizensir Blue Gin, they sound like they would be right up my alley.
Sebastian, if only we could enjoy a proper gin together. My absolute favorite is a British gin, Martin Miller's Westbourne Gin. It has a cucumber finish that makes it perfect. Also recommended is a gin made in my neighborhood called Bluecoat. I believe you'd find their Bluecoat Elderflower Gin to your liking. I'll be pouring Bluecoat at a local dinner party this evening. I am interested in much of what you reviewed. I'm surprised you didn't include Micallef's GnTonic. That said, I'm very interested in pursuing quite a few of these scents.
I like Gin, Mezcal and Whiskey, I don't drink much but Gin and Tonic is one of my favorite cocktails, favorite Gin from the ones I know: Tanqueray TEN love it!! I also like this note in fragrances in fact I like to open a bottle of gin and smell it, it's so good. Even though I like this note I don't have many Gin fragrances, I'm very interested in Blue Gin, AdP Gin and Tonic and Commodity Gin, the only one I have and love is MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
Hey Sebastian! I love thé note of juniper. I ve tried both juniper sling and gentle fluidity silver and loved them both. Which one would you say is more féminin ? Thank you for the video
Thank you for your content. I learn so much from your page. Very much enjoy your long content dedicated to knowledge and allowing the time needed to give the scope of that knowledge
I’m not really a gin drinker, but I think I could use an ice cold fragrance here for the Dallas summer heat! Great video, Sebastian! I’ll have to check some of these fragrances out!
I had not all but a few hand full of these and I have to say that no Gin perfum beats penhaligon's juniper sling in this category. Just my personal opinion of course.
Champaca. and Choya (Loban, Nakh) I am really intrigued by these notes, esp. the latter two, as how they work in a fragrance at all has baffled me through many experiments, the only thing I've managed to come up with so far are some interesting leather-like accords, more like a naugahyde scent. These are difficult ( and expensive!) notes to blend that easily 'curdle' a formulation.
Hi Sebastian I really love MIZENSIR BLUE GIN but it's a little pricey for me as I am just getting into Gin fragrances I have 5ML decant, what 1 or 2 off this list that's cheaper would you recommend ? I do have Mon Vetiver & was looking at Terre De Hermes & Bvlgari. Cheers Brutha😎
Def try the Commodity the Hermes, Bvlgari and also you can try Silverlake by Bentley it doesn't feature juniper but it's quite crisp and metallic to me and same with the Tumi Atlas not gin but it has an ice cold metallic crispness. Those are the less expensive options more designer! :)
I think that the 2018 version is still good, but it might need to be aged for a while after it's initially sprayed in order to get it to smell its best. It's still worth having.
@@BAGHEERAPROSPER I like the 2018 version (I might even get a backup bottle of it), but if I tried the previous version (the one you have), then I might prefer that over the 2018 version.
Not a fan of Hendricks as I find it a bit too perfumey. Love Tanquray to as it is very Juniper forward. My favorite is the boutique Letherbee Gin - like hard to find in San Francisco. I love it because of its scent. Smells like a sexy clean man.
I love the iced cold feeling of the note but the ones that I tried (I only tried are Gentle Fluidity Silver and Roses on Ice) are either too masculine or the cucumber is too strong. I’m not one who loves feminine fragrances already. One the list, which one(s) do you think is more unisex?
Juniper always comes off masculine to me. I appreciate Gentle Fluidity Silver, but it's not a love. I prefer Gentle Fluidity Gold where juniper is barely detectable. But even that fragrance is not a love.
Would you consider Tequilla to have the same effect as gin or juniper? i tried one from Bond no 9 that had lime tequila and mellon in the top note it was cold and refreshing and flippin delicious
I think Tequila is in the middle of gin and other darker spirits like whiskey, cognac and rum. Some more silver ones yes but some darker ones def no. :)
You can add longevity for every fragrance by first layering attar-oil (neutral smelling, maybe musky) on skin, then spray your desired fragrance on it. Your longevity will expand mainly with most fragrance s, especially patches of today's!🤌

Absolutely love tequila and I also really love Mexican food!! 😀
There are many people from Lebanon that live in Guadalajara. Lebanese are our distant brothers. Greetings from Tepatitlan, Jalisco.
Oh yes I have heard of this. Thanks for letting me know!! :)

I enjoy your videos. And it’s such a better look without the hat. Thanks for doing these and being so consistently great.
Glad you like them!

Very nice! Never got to experience that one sadly.
I really enjoy juniper as a note…. So excited for this list 🤍
My favourites with juniper are Chanel Paris-Edimbourg and Penhaligon's Juniper Sling❤

Juniper Sling might be my favorite scent. Glad to see it get some love.

I've recently become a huge fan of Mon Vetiver and bougjh a full bottle. I wish only it were a bigger performer, because it smells so wonderful.
yeah, it smells great for about half an hour.
Absinthe Boreale sounds interesting! My favourite juniper berries are in Chanel Paris-Édimbourg 😍
It's very addictive,just gorgeous,clean and fresh
@@maggspaine5419 ❤️Thank you for letting me know 🙏
Also Lolita lempicka green lover has a beautiful gin vanilla mint scent
I’ve just now been getting into the house of Aesop! Wonderful wonderful stuff! My favorite so far being Eidesis. Such a beautiful frankincense note.
Oh yes Eidesis came out last year! But sadly now it's owned by L'Oreal! :(
The combo of grapefruit, white musk, light woods and fizzy ambroxan in Tygar really reminds me of a gin and tonic. Even though there is no juniper berry. That is why I like Tygar so much. My favorite cocktail year around.
Oh yes I can totally see this. Makes sense.
Sebastian, thank you for filming this video. I was looking for minty and ice cold fragrances, you always read my mind😊❤
I love Juniper Sling for spring and summer.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try these fragrances and have a blessed day
One of my fave gin/juniper scents is Brooklyn by Bond NY. Great for summer.

I do think Juniper is quite masculine for sure. I love squishing he juniper berries. Ha so fun! :)
Fanfare and Bohemian Infusion are game changers - love them.
Gin with Fever Tree Sparkling Grapefruit with a lime wedge is amazing!
Great video as always
M Micallef has a new GnTonic fragrance
I love juniper, particularly in green fragrances that utilize cypress, vetiver or virginian cedar. My nose used to confuse it with rosemary early on, but they've each got their own characteristics. Bang on with Juniper Sling!
nice to see a fellow Hendricks enjoyer. literally sold me on Roses on Ice solely because of that haha.
"Roses on Ice" sounds like I would enjoy it! 🤔
Lots of cool and crisp fragrances listed here! I really need to get my nose on Thomas De Monaco Grand Beau and Mizensir Blue Gin, they sound like they would be right up my alley.
Gin is my favorite spirit. If you haven't tried Mermaid Gin from the Isle of White Distillery, definitely do. I love the strawberry one.

Ah Martin Miller Westbourne is my favourite gin, mind you for a celeb product James May's Parsnip Gin is also really nice

I’m a gin enthusiast. Gin is very popular in the UK. I recommend “the Cotswolds gin” and Norfolk gin.
I hope you’ll have a video featuring all kinds of liquor scents like rum, cognac, whiskey, gin, beer, champagne, red & white wines. Cheers! 🍺🥂🍷🥃🍸
Juniper berry, cardamom and cedar are my fave notes
Good choice!
Hey Sebastian! I love thé note of juniper. I ve tried both juniper sling and gentle fluidity silver and loved them both. Which one would you say is more féminin ? Thank you for the video
I think both lean masculine between the two JS is the more unisex! :)
Great selection. You should try MICALEFF GNTONIC super cold refreshing scent.
Been meaning to get my nose on that one hopefully soon.
I tried a sample of it. It smelled EXACTLY like Blue gin by Mezner which I already own, so I passed it
Definitely one of my favorite summer fragrance notes. Juniper is wonderfully cooling. Extremely interesting video, Sebastian.
Thank you for your content. I learn so much from your page. Very much enjoy your long content dedicated to knowledge and allowing the time needed to give the scope of that knowledge
I love MFK GFS. It was love at first sniff, and I’ve already ordered the next bottle. One of my signatures.
I have Juniper Sling and it smells amazing ... Penhaligons is one of my Fav houses..
Frapin - L’Humaniste is a good one
Ginepro nero L'erbolario, nice juniper cheapy.
Blue silk Agent provocateur, interesting and unusual.
Oh my gosh, thanks so much for this I’ve been drying this great topic! I’m a great fan of juniper berry and gin! ❤🎉

Excellent choice at #1. Perhaps I would to see a video on the Amouage attars if you haven't done it already?
I don't have the attars. I only have one and the bottom of another. :(
my favourite gin is bombay saphire with tonic from rever tree.....super delicious and fresh for the summer :)
Can you do an ipdated Lavender list video please
Thank you! Ive been trying to find this note before. cool, cold, aquatic, boozey but not rum or whisky. AND i loveee hendrinks gin 🩵
Obsessed with Roses on Ice! So fresh!
Very very fresh crisp and ice cold
Smelled like a rotten salad on my skin. I know that skin chemistry can differ on people, but wow that went bad on me!
My fave gin is Monkey47 so many different botanicals in one bottle. I also love absinthe boreal although I prefer wearing it in the winter
Nice video. Wearing Escada Sentiment Pour Homme. Might not the highest quality smelling juniper berry, but I like it a lot
Also, recommend you try The Botanist gin that is made by Bruichladdich (the Islay single malt distillery). It's amazing!
My favorite gin is Uncle Val's Botanical Gin. Literally hated gin before I sampled it once at a store. You've gotta try it!
I hated gin before too but Hendricks changed it. 😀
I am surprised Frapin L’Humaniste didn’t make the list.
@markyounghouse2641 • øk!
Tanqueray Rangpur or Bombay Sapphire with fever tree. Godly.
Gotta get a sample of Grand Beau and Raw gold for sure.
Bvlgari Gyan, Bvlgari Malakeos and Penhaligon's The Blazing Mr Sam deserve reviews.
L’Humaniste is the apex of gin & tonic fragrance; surprised to not see it mentioned! I really want to try the Mizensir…has anyone compared these two?
I really like L'Humaniste from Frapin, a wonderful gin-tonic-like scent, very refreshing. Unfortunately, doesn't last very long.
this video made me realize I really like juniper / juniper berry / cold fragrances. hmmmmm. I have several frags in this list.
Very nice!
Bombay used to make a cologne called infusion great juniper fragrance.
Just the frag for 5 o’clock!😉
Le Labo Baie is another good one!
There's a creed fragrance called Royal Water with a good touch of Juniper berries
Oh yes I have smelled in the past but don't have it currently.
My favourite with juniper is black cedarwoord & juniper from Jo Malone. But it is being phased out years ago, really heart breaking 😢
Have you tried Krigler perfumes? Wildly $$$
My favourite is Gin Fizz from Lubin
Juniper is one of my favourite notes and this list is missing two beautiful juniper fragrances: Eau Duelle and Green Lover.
I have Green Lover but it's new and didn't think to add to list but Eau Duelle is for me mostly a vanilla scent. I have to smell the juniper in it! :)
L'Humaniste from the house of Frapin - for sure it is missing here
Yes sadly I don't own it. But will check it out.
Please review jasmine notes. Thank you

My first juniper fragrance is Paco Rabanne XS Pour Homme. Just love it.
I like Paco Rabanne XS Pour Homme. It's a reason why I became a fragrance enthusiast and started collecting fragrances again.

Well Hendricks for a refreshing gin & tonic with cucumber. But Tanqueray for a Negroni!!
Yes!

Fun fact, juniper berries aren’t actually berries. Also some species have toxic berries that shut the kidneys down.
I love Juniper Sling. It’s so uplifting! Tokyo Milk has a Gin and Rosewater. It is another juniper, that’s only so-so to my nose, but mentionable.
Ginepro Nero EDP very nice
Juniper Sling is delicious but it disappears within an hour on me
I swear Evernia has juniper but it isn’t listed in the notes. Maybe it’s just the other aromatics at work.
Do you got a recommandation for female leaning Gin Tonic fragrance?
You skipped Ginepro di Sardegna from Acqua di Parma...😢
hello, I want to know more what’s the difference between leather and suede leather?😢

Creed Baie de Genièvre I love
I would like to find perfume with the juniper and pine the main notes, not on masculine side 🤔
Hmm they generally put those notes in as masculine notes
I’m a gin girl 😍😍
Ha!! Nice.
@BohoGuru I am too but only if it’s Hendricks!
@@tigeygirl Hendricks and empress for me !
Idk what it is about Gentle Fluidity Silver but it is extremely sharp. I can’t get with it
I agree very sharp. I couldn’t tolerate it before now. I love it.
Which of of them are under 100€
Hi Sebastian, how is the longevity of Juniper Sling? :)
It’s moderate. I wouldn’t consider having beast mode qualities. But smell wise it’s so good.
You can add longevity for every fragrance by first layering attar-oil (neutral smelling, maybe musky) on skin, then spray your desired fragrance on it. Your longevity will expand mainly with most fragrance s, especially patches of today's!🤌
Which would you say is the most feminine/least masculine on this list?
Frederic Malle, Thameen, Kilian and perhaps Roja. 😀
Would these be great for fall daytime?
Of course. Mostly daytime but really there really aren't any rules! Wear what you want when you want to! :)
