Great lineup Sebastian. The MFK and the Nishane are the best in the humid heat.
My taste has shifted this year. I used to hardly ever buy fresh fragrances, always wore pretty deep, dark fragrances all year. This year for some reason I really started to like fresher fragrances and bought a ton of them.
I'm totally the opposite. I never buy deep dark sweet fragrances. Im a total freshie

Great list, thanks. Two fragrances that are very different but seem to come to life in Hong Kong humidity are Escale en Indonesia from Les Indemodables and Empereur from Aquaflor Firenze
I blind bought Commodity’s Nectar at a Marshals two winters ago for $19. It’s been sitting in the back of my closet, forgotten ever since. I’m going to have to dig that out and start wearing it.

MFK Gentle Fluidity - the best in my opinion, Torino 21 and Hacivat are also a great choice. Currently using Chanel Platinum Egoiste and YSL Y EDT.

Hi Sebastian, can't agree more with Gentle Fluidity Silver. I wore it several times this summer but weather was hot and dry here in France (between Lyon and Marseille / 30-40°C without any sign of rain). It's great as such, but definitely better when it gets cooler at night or when it's humid.
Just received Loumari Porthole. you weren’t kidding; it’s amazing. the citrus and fruit really balance the marine and salty notes.
Honestly when it’s that hot outside I can’t wear a fragrance. It attracts too many bees and insects. I rather just use a scented soap to bathe, maybe a scented deodorant. However, I will check out a couple fragrances on this list. Thanks
Recently, I tried "Bohemian Lime" for the first time and I truly like it, but I don't remember what the performance was like. I own and enjoy "Hacivat".
I notice ‘Patchouli’ isn’t listed on Fragrantica as a note in Hacivat. Even tho I always thought it smelled earthy. So glad I heard you mention it
Sebastian, you live in SF too and it just doesn’t get that hot. It is mainly when we go out of town. I live in LA and many of my fragrances I can wear all year around. I just do not like smelling like chocolate even in 80 degree weather!

I layered Hacivat with Hundred Silent Ways based off a layering combination you did in a video a while back.....it was amazing!!! and it lasted over 12 hours. Thanks for the suggestion.

Love Hacivat, vespero and bois imperial in humid heat 😊 but for a feminine fragrance its Orchidée and neroli by loccitane for me.

Yes, Hacivat and Wulong Cha from Nishane, but, lately I substitute Hacivat with another pineapple based fragrance, Music For a While, from Frederic Malle.

I travel to Thailand and before i had big problem with flyies and somthing that bites. But last time i buy lacoste Blanc for day time and azzaro wanted by night parfum for night. I got shit ton of compliments but most suprising i had 0 problem with insects!!!!!! This year i buy New L. 12 and somthing new for night not sure yet.

Acqua viva and Eau D'Hadrien smell very similar to me aside from cypress being stronger in Eau D'hadrien on my skin. If you want the stronger one its Aqua viva and if you want the affordable one, Eau D'Hadrien is the pick. For me, it's definitely Acqua viva 😊
Perris Monte Carlo Cedric de Diamanté is the best of both worlds, great longevity and still affordable.
I live in the tropics, this is pretty much a godsend list.

Gentle fluidity silver lasts over 12 hours on me, it’s crazy
Most of these are long lasting on me some not as much but also longevity has a lot to do with environment, skin chemistry etc so I would suggest testing them out.
@@ThePerfumeGuy i agree with you cos BOHEMIAN LIME on me does not last pass the 1st hour.But many fragrance reviewers speak well of its longevity.

I'd personally go Cedrat Boise over the Intense... And personally can't stand Blenheim Bouquet because it smells exactly like some cleaning wipes that I get. I mean exactly the same!

Bergamote 22 performance is abysmal even if you don't care about the price. bought one three months ago, I swear it's a skin scent after half an hour and disappears completely after 2 hours

Agree! I’m surprised this didn’t appear in the video. I live in Singapore where it’s super humid all year long and this fragrance is my go-to! Another great Frederic Malle option for humid weather is Bigarade Concentrate.
