My first perfume ever was Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. As a middle schooler, I couldn't stop sniffing it. I've been loving tea notes in fragrances ever since. Le Labo's Thè Noir is so nice, just wish it lasted longer.
Fragrance review comments are so ridiculous. I literally see angry and disrespectful comments just because the reviewer didn't like a fragrance. I see comments insulting people just for liking and wearing a fragrance. I swear mental illness is rampant.
@@hobojump7651I'm new to fragrance and I feel the same as the original commenter. There's also a lot of snottiness towards people who can't afford niche.
I subscribe to A LOT of perfume reviewers, from all parts of the world, and I must say, out of all those, Sebastian, you are 100% the most open-minded when it comes to fragrances, which to me at least also means that you are probably the one who REALLY loves fragrances the most. And that's incredibly validating and inspiring, so, THANK YOU!
I LOVE tea used in perfumery. My favorite tea perfume in general is undoubtedly, hands down, Nishane’s “Wulong Cha”. It is just a perfect, year round, easy reach that is so smooth and comforting to me. But my favorite black tea perfume, in all of its glorious simplicity has to be Eccentric Molecule’s “Molecule 1 + Black Tea”. The specific black tea note they use is absolute perfection. It’s just pure unadulterated black tea on a cozy bed of ISO E Super and I agree Sebastian, it layers wonderfully with many tea perfumes that might benefit from a heavier black tea presence-which is pretty much all of them in my book. 😂 And I’d have to give an honorable mention to BDK’s “Gris Charnel” which like “Wulong Cha” features a prominent fig note (another one of my all time favorite perfume notes). It’s undeniably sexy but still smells refined and sophisticated at the same time.
I absolutely love Wulong Cha and Fig Tea! I might have missed it, but another tea fragrance worth mentioning is Thé Noir 29 from Le Labo, it's simply delectable.
I had to snort giggle! The fact that you can review 20 fragrances is amazing and I thank you. I'm curating my perfume collection from scratch and unfortunately I don't have access to so many brands and perfumes, just because of where I live. Not to mention, the price point doubles in my country, and the shipping costs suck, so I know my collection will never be what I truly envision. But I will try 😂 Thanks for sharing Sebastian. 🎉 Vee
One Umbrella for Two remains one of my favorite fragrances in my ever expanding collection. (Watching you is like shopping with a friend! lol) It's so lovely and unique. I must admit that I immediately thought of BDK Gris Charnel when I saw your title. I appreciate you didn't go for the obvious.
I immediately bought the Estee Lauder Tender Light and the Discovery Set - so yes please do a video about these fragrances. Thank you as always for your videos.
I’ve been a regular to ur videos for years and recently life got the better of me and I fell off the wagon. But I saw tea in the video title and that pulled me in! Also realised how much joy these videos would bring to my mundane day! Thanks for the upload and I’ll sip my tea as I hear you list ur favs! Mine is winter palace by memo and I’m suspecting it’s in urs too
Ethereal Wave by Liis is a beautiful black and white tea creation. I also do like Mateu Rosendo No1 for the summer months; musky, bergamot and some black tea
I really enjoy Pomello Mint Tea Leaves by Whind. Have you heard of that one? I think it's a French Moroccan brand. I wouldn't classify it as cozy though. For me it gives a spring summer vibe.
Sebastian just do your thing. I don't get it when someone would be annoyed just because you are not mentioning some specific perfume. This video is about the perfumes that you own and what you are into.We all watch becaus of your great taste❤
I enjoy the way you introduce the themes of your videos. You make them more relatable and interesting than i would precieve otherwise, and in a stylish way! :)
Thank you for reviewing the tea fragrances, Sebastian. As always, it is a great video. One of my favorite tea scents is, unfortunately, the discontinued Bvlgari Au The Bleu.
Masque Milano Russian Tea is one of my faves. I also like Jaipur Chai from Ineke, but don't quite love it. It becomes a little "Yankee Candle" on me sometimes. lol. I really want to try Memo Winter Palace and Nishane Wulong Cha. I know Wulong Cha has been around a long time now, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm also quite interested in Vilhelm Dear Polly because I love Earl Grey - it's my favorite and I drink it almost every day. (I also love Earl Grey truffles and ice cream as well. Highly recommend trying it if you find it.)
Tea is so comforting to me. Thanks for this list! I have a few but you always introduce me to new things. And yes, I’d love to see an overview of the EL luxury fragrances. I own Tender Light and love it so learning about others in that line would be great. Cheers!
My recent joy is Ormonde Jayne Qi, the initial spray is a fresh green scent of osmanthus after a light spring shower, and after it warms up on the skin, a comforting, cozy osmanthus tea 🧡
I have tried most as I am tea fragrance obsessed and I love most of them too, but Assam of India was sadly a disappoint to me. The name is off imho. And I'm surprised you didn't mention Chris Collins African Rooibos.
Aesthetic Turbulence was a legitimate scrubber for me. Got samplers from the brand directly. The citrussy, sharp opening just absolutely punched me in the olfactory and didn’t let up. Absolutely love Spontaneous Generosity and Creative Inspiration though.
This is good timing, my hubs and I are both wearing Matcha Meditation this evening. We love tea frags 💚 I love to drink tea... iced green tea in the summer, black tea with milk in the autumn winter. And love a hot hibiscus/rosehip/echinacea blend in the winter with honey, supposedly good for immunity? Dandy or Not is a great fall scent. For budget I would add Fragonard Jasmin Perle de Thé, I think its around the €40 mark
My top 5 favorite tea fragrances are Vilhelm's Dear Polly, Jo Malone London's Earl Grey & Cucumber, Floraiku's One Umbrella For Two, Molecule 1 + Black Tea and Nishane's Wulong Cha. I do enjoy Memo's Winter Palace and Jovoy's Remember Me but not quite as much as my top five.
Hi Sebastian, I know exactly what you mean by the fishiness! I often drink matcha at home and some powders when mixed with water, give off an unpleasant fishy odour. I'm not sure what causes this, but it varies depending on the matcha powder used. Another classic tea fragrance that I love and would recommend is L'Occitane's The Vert. It's back after years of being discontinued!
Try Spontaneous Generosity from State of Mind. Its a black tea fragrance I feel depicts a more gourmand leaning tea scent with Tonka bean. Delicious. 😊❤
i love chasing scent, an australian brand with Hong Konger nose. I have tea service which is wonderful expression of jasmine tea, the true asian style. i have the weeping rose sample, which is also wondeful, as rose tea perfume. i got a decand of oolong tea from one day, which is a Hong Kong brand. not yet tried it but looking forward to test it. perhaps if you are looking for photorealistic asian tea, like oolong, better go for Asian perfume house. Taiwan, Hong Kong and China do have great choices for asian tea perfume (but hard to find China perfume house as they are only available in Taobao)
I also start drinking tea when the temperature drops... but I keep the coffee 😵💫 Remember Me, Winter Palace and Tea for two are in my list, also need to try Wulong Cha and Dear Polly, they sound interesting. From the list I just know Russian Tea, love it. Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
From Floraiku, I like better Levitating, also with Smoky Mate. My other favorites from the house are Between two trees, beautiful smoky wintery scent and I am coming home very cosy citrusy scent, uplifting.
Finally finished Roasted Green Tea from J-Scent last week and I'm actually quite curious about their new Himari. That extra addition of pine and incense to the tea could make for an interesting drydown. Still difficult to beat Tea for Two though. I think it was my first ever out-and-out tea fragrance. Along with Chergui, they used to be staples in autumn lists. 🍂 I know you remember Sebastian. 😊 Those were the days. So much less choice. 😂
I like drinking roobois teas. Would love to smell these tea fragrances. I have a sample of a tea fragrance called Tea Tonique (green, earl grey, mate teas) and I like it so I know I will like these fragrances. Yes, please do a video on the Estée Lauder luxury collection. Thank you for this video. 😊
Yes I have a backup bottles two. And one is half used. But yes it has such a following that one. Bummer Gucci discontinued it. But nothing ever lasts. LOL!
thank you for reviewing une ete. I got a sample and like the smell but it's hard to say if it is a lasting fragrance. how long would you say it lasts? clothes vs skin.

Absolutely agree! I’m someone that likes to keep a varied selection of fragrances, and Sebastian is definitely one of my go-to fragrance reviewers!
Winter Palace was the first niche fragrance I ever purchased and holds a dear place in my heart. Such a unique and alluring scent profile ❤
I LOVE tea used in perfumery.

@@safroz2i’m not the OP, but i do have to say that Wulong Cha is definitely unisex!
@@safroz2 Totally unisex. Give it a try!
Wulong Cha is NOT a tea fragrance to my nose, it's just citrus and white flowers.
@@oIITSBIIoMatcha green tea
My favorite was Ralph Lauren Ralph Lauren in the dark square red bottle..tea scent and classy. Oh how I wish they would bring it back
My personal favorite is Indigo Smoke from Arquiste
Hi, Sebastian! 3:38
Just bought my engraved bottle of Visionary Eye from Jusbox in Milano.
The ladies said "hello and you're the best"!
WOOHOO! That's awesome you got your bottle engraved. So cool! :)
I'd also add Serge Luten's five o'clock gingembre, have you tried it? It's sweet , spicy and most importantly cozy
Great cozy tea!
I would love to see a video on the Estée Lauder luxury fragrances! I have only sampled a couple of these but I think they are quite underrated.

Me love gourmand tea fragrance. Tea For Two is my favorite tea perfume.

❤ Tea For Two, Winter Palace, au thé blanc, Assam of India & Wulong Cha 🫖
also Indigo Smoke 🩶
Great list of tea fragrances, Sebastian, and I liked how you ranked them according to the coziness factor! ❤
I immediately bought the Estee Lauder Tender Light and the Discovery Set - so yes please do a video about these fragrances. Thank you as always for your videos.
Yes! I’d love you to do an Estée Lauder video please Sebastian. Thanks
The fragrances in the first part of the video range from about $150 to several hundred dollars. Just skip to @23:48 if you are poor.
Thank you 😭💜
I love Long Island Iced Tea. 😂 My favorite tea fragrance is Dear Polly and Unknow Pleasures.
I’ve been a regular to ur videos for years and recently life got the better of me and I fell off the wagon. But I saw tea in the video title and that pulled me in! Winter Palace is so delicious. And if you look at all the comments here seems to be the favorite of many others as well! :)
Have not tried any of these but Mixed Emotions (grows curiously on you) but Arquiste's INDIGO SMOKE is fantastic, thick with tea.
Ethereal Wave by Liis is a beautiful black and white tea creation. I also do like Mateu Rosendo No1 for the summer months; musky, bergamot and some black tea
An excellent Tea scent which belongs on this list is Clive Christian’s Maksukita. Totally tea, autumn cozy vibes😊
FYI the had a coffret on the Estee lauder collection. Not sure if stiff available or new ones since then. But great way to get them all
Lost Alice would be probably the cosiest I know, but Eau de Memo is my favourite tea scent
Remember me is the best tea perfume in my opinion. Love it so much!
Great video and I enjoyed it and me and my wife are going to try these fragrances and have a blessed day
Great review! I lately enjoy Bibbi Ghost of Tom. It is very strong but in a weird way it calms me down.
I really enjoy Pomello Mint Tea Leaves by Whind. Have you heard of that one? I think it's a French Moroccan brand. I wouldn't classify it as cozy though. For me it gives a spring summer vibe.

winter palace sounds interesting, not really a gourmand fan but that one intrigues me. love spiced almond cookies and love balsams.
Thanks for the video! Always looking for great tea fragrances. 🍃🍵I find thé matcha 26 soothing.😊
Thank you for reviewing the tea fragrances, Sebastian. As always, it is a great video. One of my favorite tea scents is, unfortunately, the discontinued Bvlgari Au The Bleu.
I love Blue Indigo from Arquiste. Smoky at first and then it settles down to a beautiful refined, slightly sweet and apricot-like fragrance.
Mixed Emotions was love at first sniff for me.
I love tea in scents. I love Fig Tea and Russian Tea and Tea for Two and Nomad Tea and The Matcha.
