Wow, I had no idea! I’m going to buy it. I just love a one time fee. Thank you for the information! Excellent video!
They’re offering licensing right now-you might even be able to get it for free!
I appreciate how straightforward your info always is, haha. Keep on! 🙌
You're so welcome! That’s exactly why I include so many examples in my videos-I want everyone to see I'm not just making things up. So many people hype up this upscale option, and I’m over here thinking… ummm are we using the same thing? Lol!
Damn. Right on point again. THANK YOU. I’ve been spending hours to understand the bloody quality thing and was frustrated of most of results tbh. Gonna try this. ❤
I honestly would have never realized myself if it weren’t for that huge wall print and the customer complaint. After that, I started second-guessing all the ones I had sent out! I guess it’s natural to do that. I’m really glad this was helpful. Let me know what you think after using it.
@@EtsyMentor Quick one: So I do understand correctly that the high resolution one made by Aiarty will then be uploaded to the POD provider webpage, when creating designs etc. correct? (sorry still very new to the whole POD game) Thank you so much for your help!
Exactly. I won’t be using it for my Etsy listings-just for the print provider. This way, I can ensure I get the largest print size and highest DPI possible, so the customer receives the best quality product.
@@EtsyMentor Alright. Got it. I use the POD usually also for publishing directly on Etsy. So I guess the size will be automatically transferred in a way. Or I guess you meant if I upload any other mock-ups e.g., then the size does not matter so much...
Perfect timing. I was just looking for this. Golden info as always.
So glad it helped! I’m still using the free version myself, but I really like how quick it is.
Had back and forth just last week. Problem solved 👌. Thank you!
You’re welcome! Glad I can help 😊
Thanks for the great info.
Thank you for watching!
Great insight as always George. Thank you.
My challenge is creating seamless patterns when using multiple eiements on my prints and patterns, I just cannot seem to eliminate the join line or get the join absolutely symmetrical.
Can AI Arty help with these?
By the way, I love your editing! It’s the best on UA-cam-totally seamless transitions without that rough, disjointed effect that others often have at edit points 🙌🏾
Send me an email with some examples, and I’ll take a look. Depending on the product, it can be a bit tricky-like pants, for instance, take forever to work on and can be pretty frustrating. Just a heads-up, it might take me a few days to get back to you, but I promise I will!
Also, thank you so much for the kind words about my editing! I’m still new to this. Talking to the camera and working on the editing side of things is not my forte, but it’s coming together bit by bit. My message will always stay the same-I want people to have accurate information and avoid the costly mistakes I made. UA-cam relies on quality, so I’m working hard to get there quickly. The more people I can reach, the more I can help avoid all the sales fluff and misinformation.
@EtsyMentor, thank you for offering.
For £6, I got a contractor on Fiverr to create a video tutorial on Affinity Designer, which was the recommended tool for my design needs. Sometimes, it's just quicker to pay a nominal amount for something I'll be using long term.
Thanks again.
Nice video! thank you .
Thanks for watching!
Have you looked at Kittl's AI Image Upscaler compared to Canva & Aiarty? I'm new to AI and upscaling so this is a great video. Thanks!
I love Kittl! I use it for most of my designs because it’s so easy to work with. I’m planning to make a video about it soon. I haven’t tried their upscale options yet, but I’ll keep you posted once I do.
What's the difference between the Canva image upscaler that you used and the upscaling option that you can choose when fownloading the file?
The upscale from Canva causes blurring in many areas and doesn’t produce a crisp, clear image, which will leave customers disappointed with the quality with larger prints.
I usually ask the AI engine that created the image to upscale it first, though I've only ever asked them to do this once on the same image. Then in PS got right to 600dpi and save a copy that size.
I’ve done this before, but it tends to leave the image grainier than you’d want, especially if you’re planning to sell it in a large size like my customer requested.
@@EtsyMentor True, I've never had a request that size even when I was doing pro photography. I only have a couple of print listings at this time, still trying to get traction on the new etsy shop, so learning with digital files.
This was a first for me too. I ended up losing money on the order (I had to ship a new one), but I learned a valuable lesson. Just hoping to save someone else from the same headache-and cost.
@@EtsyMentor and it's appreciated.
Thanks, great video. I think if i have 1024x1024 size image and upscaling by 8x will not give me a 18000x12000px resolution. Aiarty app is not that bad although it can only upscale image 8x max is a downside for me, there are few more tool that give up 16x upscaling ability and cost is also quite similar.
You can do the 16x, but it has to be done a certain way-that’s what I figured out. What I like is that I can edit an image multiple times without the need to purchase credits each time, as some programs require. I have over 10,000 photos. I’d probably be living on the street if I had to pay to upscale them all.
@@EtsyMentor if you dont mind, could you please explain how to achieve higher px images?
The image needs to be a size that scales in factors of 1, 2, 4, or 8x to reach the larger dimensions. For example, you can't upscale a 1024px image directly to 32K. Instead, I can take a 5000px image and upscale it to 16K on my Mac or up to 32K on a PC. A 1024px image can only be upscaled to a max of 8K. From there, you save the larger image and then upscale again if needed. That’s the process I used.
@@EtsyMentor make sense, great.
If you want a quality product and result, you probably won't find it for free.
This is very true.
If this quality is not enough and you are looking industry standard and full control over the upscale, topaz is the champion over any upscaler. As a seller, I can not use the ai arty results, still damages the image a lot.
I’ll definitely look into this and compare the two. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of their price point. I try to avoid recommending anything that requires people to spend a lot of money, which is why my videos tend to focus on free or low-cost software. That said, I’ll check them out and see for myself. I have no issue admitting if I’m wrong-just like I did with Photoshop. I’m seriously still blown away by the results I got with PS; it started making me question all my past orders. Although they were never that large in size, but still.
@@EtsyMentor Obviously we are against pirating, I feel comfortable to try a software before I pay for it =) So you may find topaz in the open see =)) If you like and shocked the results of photoshop, you may have a stroke with topaz =) Thank you for the content mate. Best. Atahan
Can I use this without downloading it?
No, but I actually like that aspect. I always wonder what really happens to images when they’re uploaded to the cloud through software. Those 3rd party sites claim it’s deleted, but is it really? Even when I delete files from my computer, they’re never completely gone.
Do you ever use the neural filter in Photoshop to upscale your images?
I’ve tried everything in Photoshop, but the issue is that once you hit 15K pixels, it becomes illegible.
I saw your video on Shimmy Morris about the scammy coach. I am still on the hook for another 1000 and cannot fathom finishing the payment plans. I’ve heard you help people in the same situation as me. Can you help?
When you have a moment, send me an email and I’ll do my best to help!
@ where can I find your email?
george@youretsymentor
@@EtsyMentor okay thank you
Great video, there's a lot of AI-powered garbage out there at the moment.
The wild part is that many of them charge by credits, so if you have thousands of designs, it can end up costing you a fortune. Even though I have money, I don't like spending money lol.
@@EtsyMentor I hear you, I'm allergic to spending money as well 🤑
Imagine our sensation about the AI... I use my own creations for making hd blankets (in the spiritual niche). My son is a Digital Illustrator, mainly for video game and other characters... we are sick of this!!! But we try to adapt ourselves and use elements, as this suggested tool for scale the images
It’s difficult to get it right. All the upscalers use AI to fill in the new empty pixels that are created when you increase from say 3000 to 9000 pixels. FYI try Enhance In camera raw instead of just photoshop
My understanding was that particular program was for raw image files. Mainly photography.
@ you can use camera raw for any jog image!
I will def try this!
How high does the resolution go? Can you upscale images to like 16,000?
I would like to know this as well, please.
The program states you can go up to 32K. I was able to increase one of my images to 10K with no issues, and it actually looked better than it did at half that resolution. I’m still testing it out, but so far, so good!
So I’m limited to 16K since I’m using a Mac. According to what I found on their site, it supports up to 32K on Windows and 16K on Mac.
Neural Filter is what should be used in PS.
No matter which option you choose, it just can’t compete with the other software. Not for upscaling at least.
A good AI upscaler actually uses AI technology to fill in the missing pixel details that the creator did not do.
Canva just smooths everything out-seems like they missed the memo on adding details lol.
@@EtsyMentorI’m going to try your link to AI Arty however the problem I encounter is that PRINTIFY only allows 100mb and most over 10000 pixels are usually a tad over 100- how do you deal with that issue. Thank you for the content
I use Adobe to convert JPG files into PDF, then reduce the PDF size, and finally convert the PDF back to JPG. This method maintains the image quality while significantly reducing the file size. Adobe offers this as a free tool-just search "How to compress a JPEG Adobe" to find the article with the tool links.
Yes it sucks, just tried to deal with printing and it was a shit show.
I feel your pain. In all my years, I’ve never encountered an issue like this until now. I wasn’t expecting that kind of exchange, but if it helps even one person, it’s worth it.
You need to declare your sponsored video at the beginning of the video with a visual statement and a vocal statement as well as in your description. Per YT terms of service. Would suck if they took down your 15 minute commercial because you failed to do this.
All of these tiny programs everyone is pushing are watered down versions of PS. Pay for PS and move on with your time. Or go back to Walmart.
I am not sponsored by any product or company in this video. So, cool story, Elizabeth.
