I cannot put into words, the love I have for this piece, and still do, almost 14 years later.
It's so soulful, nostalgic, antiquated. A sorrowful walk through faded memories, lonely streets covered in fog, a quiet seat at the back of an old Church.
This will remain one of my favourite pieces of music from any composition in videogames, ever.

I just found this piece yesterday; the Machinarium soundtrack has followed me for the last 10 years, but I never knew about the bonus EP. Discovering more music from the world of this first album is incredible. I never played the game, but the soundtrack has been a part of my life since it came out.

The bass with the clarinet, the electric piano, the delayed bits and pieces all together make a warm and nostalgic sound. Tomas! I discovered you just now.
