hello i don't have the source. i am sure the trick base on some math formula, but cause i try some possibilities i think that the perform show us a unique terms that have to change from perform to perform cause if a " smart " spectator will choose numbers close to the edges for example like 30 ( 15-30 ) in the first count and 31 ( 30-45 ) in the second count, the trick will not work.
