- Highlights from the Saturday showing of the Flying Legends held at Duxford. Included in this feature are as follows;

B-17. P-47, P51D x 2
P-40C, P-40F, Hawk 75 & P-36
Blenheim, Lysander Spitfire I x 3
Ultimate Fighters P-47, Spitfire V, Buchon & TF-51D

Amazing displays, especially the Ultimate Fighters close formation flying. How they kept that P-47 from outrunning everybody else as soon as the nose dropped below the horizon is an achievement in itself!
Went to this on the Saturday, brilliant event as usual, the Ultimate Fighters close formation display was stunning.
This was brilliant. Don't think I've ever seen so many Spitfires in one place. Thank You.
I went! Hard not be be thrilled by seeing twelve Spitfires in the air at the same time.
12 spitfires in the air together! The sound for real must be incredible.
Without doubt the best flying display to visit.
It has just been announced that there will be no more flying legends at duxford any more 😢
Incredible to think that in not so many years we will be able to see the fully restored FHCAM - Ju-87R-4 Stuka take to the air! What an achievement!
Just amazing that all these Bouchons are back in the air already.

I was there too on Sunday. I recommend buying a gold pass. Much more comfortable and better viewing.
Ze Germans in ze Air again....beautiful war birds. I like the whistling sound when the Bf109 fly by. Thanks for the upload.

A very good show again, they did a stunning job on the MK1 Blenheim, when I visited Flying Legends 4 years ago it was still very much in pieces, and they had just finished building a new cockpit/nose section from scratch.
There were other planes missing out now, no Hurricane and no Bearcat this time, they are out of service for overhaul?
Does n e one know when is their going to be a show like this one in California

There are supposed to be 14 Hawker Hurricanes airworthy,,Why the absence!!??

Flying legends was great this year but I have to say after visiting for the past 20+ years the aircraft have to vary and include more interesting rare models for me to continue to visit. Why not the ME109G based in Germany, or maybe the FW190 Butcher Bird or even the 109E that's flying in the states. I watched some early videos from the shows from the 1990's and have to say they were much better...
We have a genuine 109E here in the UK. The ex Ed Russell machine. Hopefully we'll see it next year as I imagine Legends will push the boat out for the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Having said that, five Buchons was pretty impressive and nice to see the majority in their Battle of Britain movie colours. As for the Flugwerk Fw-190 replicas, I was under the impression this could be a CAA thing. I do understand that many of the European warbirds were tied up at another air show.
Used to go every year but stopped for that very reason - might give it another go next year.
@@fightersweep Yes indeed but I do feel they need to make a greater effort re Axis aircraft. i remember the superb Fieseler Storch display a few years ago and always nice to see the Ju 52 but we did see the FW 190 back in the 90's and not to mention the 109E which saldy crashed. It would be nice for FL to team up with the US based CAF or see the Me109-G-10 based in Germany. Or the superb Me109-E-3 from the superb Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum. I think we deserve better than the annual roll out of the Buchons.
@@SimonHeartfield Also the commentary was very poor this year, sadly gone are the days of Gunther Rall and Johnnie Johnson who were both in attendance in 2000. Once a year, they must do better!
@UCyuXmJi9DK49gowRFLE-X8g Yes I agree worth the flight to see that moment the Stuka take to the air! Indeed so many changes that sadly also have a negative effect on our experience at the displays today. I can still remember the freedom we had to walk the line of aircraft at Duxford FL in the 90's. Sadly not today.

too much shaking. There are literally hundreds of better videos to watch. Are there any video of this event that dont look like they were filmed with a paint shaker as a camera mount?
