    I just got started 5 months ago and your channel has put things into perspective. 🙏 I am putting all my energy into my store, 14 to 16 hours a day, I even got a Shopify store. I am not seeing the results yet that I was hoping for, especially during the 4th quarter. I subscribed and bought to Everbee, Sales Samaria, Creative Fabrica, Canva, Printify Premium, and nice photo mockups. I can't give up now because I'm in deep in the game. I'm at 720 listings and 68 sales as of today on Etsy. I'm hoping to get some coaching from you soon! Thanks for another great video. 🙏😊

      Hey, thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. To come in the game with no experience you have learned so much and that’s really the winning your first year in entrepreneurship. I hit big numbers my first year on Etsy but I basically ate shit for the full two years before that, making no money trying to make money online

      @@EcomHannah Yup, you're 100% right. It's all about mindset. I was sad for 3 days, crying, and wanted to through in the towel because you hear and see other sellers starting at the same time you did and are crushing it right now in the 4th quarter. I went into the 4th quarter thinking I was going to crush it, but it's fucken crickets!! lol this video was suggested to me at the right time, I had to watch it twice, I'm barely a month in and I already started to feel the burn out lol no sales and already started to build that debt with paid ads and crazy amount of hours of work, I'm so glad you're talking about something no one talks about in pod and Etsy, it makes the struggle a common thing and not just something that you specifically are experiencing, cause I did start doubting myself and thinking maybe its just me specifically cause all everyone talks about is how they started to make sales the first few months..sorry this is really long lol I LOVE your content!!

    It's so true though. I just came from a video that was stating how etsy ads wasn't working for them like how they used to bla bla bla.. but I'm like, have you really analysed all aspects of your business and why it's not working? There's so many factors to consider, but they just harped on how they're not making sales. It's so not useful information for me. Like what's the point of that video? I'm trying to make it work here, I need advise that will help me. So I'm glad I found you Hannah :) I am in my product development stage, and my whole plan will be based on running ads so your content is perfect for me. I was just wondering if you had a listing where you wanted to test different headlines or maybe even different tags and you duplicate the listing, won't customers get confused? Also, let's say you've been running ads for 2-3 months and you stopped it but started it back up maybe a week later, will it affect the performance it used to have? I'm sorry, so many qns. 😅

    • @EcomHannah
      @EcomHannah  Рік тому +2

      Hey no worries at all and great insight! If you only stopped it for a week it should not kill anything too much. Sometimes people ask but for the most part the benefit overrides the small
      Percent who will be confused

    • @EcomHannah
      @EcomHannah  Рік тому +2

      The goal is to literally test everything and if you find a listing that is actually dead and it’s wasting your money on ads then turn it off

      Set yourself up for the best case scenario compared to competition price point marketing etc. put the max budget allowance on Etsy and trust the process it may take a few months to see anything profitable contingent on your
      Niche but if you have done the right market research we will gain momentum eventually

    $1000/day spent on advertising is a bit unrealistic for most people, that's $30k a month! I would think that would exceed the profits that come in for even the most successful shops. I think you can be successful without relying so heavily on advertising.

    • @EcomHannah

    • @LennyYT
      @LennyYT Рік тому

      @@hannahjoy4857 I've figured one needs to have enough cushion treating ad budget as a COG unnegotiable component, that's what's the overall cost of bringing the product to life and out there. Then you'll have seeds to plant for more new customers.
      @EcomHannah do you agree?
      Just to make math simple, if your marketing budget is 20% of your product revenue ($100) and you want 100 units sold per day, you should be confident putting 2,000 out there beforehand to bring people in.
