The Split Shot is my go-to frame for driving. Yes, it's a fishing specific frame but works amazingly well for driving, thanks to the large lenses and an excellent wrap on the frame.

Hej, Rob, where did u get RM sport sweater?
I absolutely love my Costa Rincon’s but i get a lot of side light hitting my eyes which can get annoying. I think a wrap around frame would be better for my driving conditions.

When you threw on that pair of Balorama's, you shattered the ceiling. I owned a pair in the 80's.
Though nothing beats my Maui Jim Stingray's, I think I need to hunt down a pair for special occasions.

Gradient lenses are great if one prefers less tint near the bottom of the lens. It's a personal preference. Check out some of our other videos focused around driving eyewear!

Do Serengetti contain better optics than Ray Ban?
HI! It ultimately depends on what you're trying to get out of your glasses. Serengeti makes some of the best polarized transitions lenses in high quality lens materials. The same can be said for RayBans set tinted lenses (no transitions). Though if you require prescription, then Serengeti might have a slight edge over RB in terms of clarity.
Maui Jim's or nothing. Jk lol. Not everyone has the money to shell out for them. I don't either, but i also have a credit card so that helps.. When I'm rich some day I'm gonna own like 20 pairs of Maui Jim's with varying lense colors and frames.

Everyone who talks driving sunglasses misses the point. Light gets in from the top and sides and causes internal glare and reflections. OK you probably need a hat when in the open or if you have a convertible. But what is the real answer to glare from the side. Wraparounds really do not do the job.
Hi Ken! If you're particularly sensitive to bright light then a backside Anti Glare coating will help with the reflections caused by ambient light. However if you want to create a complete seal against the face preventing any light from getting in then click on the links below for some great frame options!
