After watching your review I decided to buy this bike. Costs me Singapore dollar $13, 300 on the road without insurance. It was selling at $13,750 before discount by Singapore Honda agent. They throw in free rack, 42 liter rear box, raincoat, helmet etc. Thks for the review.

Last month Certificate of Entitlement (COE) was S$11,200. It has dropped to less than S$10,000. Before you buy a motorcycle in Singapore, you need to get a COE which lasts you 10 years. For cars it could as high as S$140,000! With the machine price, registration fee, Additional import taxes, Goods & Services tax at 9% and insurance this scooter now costs much more. Approximately S$17,000 to SS18,000! That’s a fact. Sigh!
@@anhtuannguyen-si4gcyup that is in Sing $. In USD = US$9850.. last year news in USA shows that 1 Toyota Camry Hybrid in Singapore can buy 6 of the same car in USA.
Stone damaged the ABS sender ring so I pulled the fuses…. Now much better front brake feel. Have a new sender ring, but won’t be installing it. 55 years riding without ABS, I think I can get by without it. 41,000 km on my 2020 PCX, including a tour of NZ, and still well pleased with it.
@@totothebeast7819 The PCX can just keep up with traffic on the highways, but its forte is toddling along the byways, which is where I prefer to be. Large seat is comfortable for the long haul, helped by being able to change leg position. Main weakness is gravel roads, though a change to a narrower front tyre (could not get the spec size at the time) and a recent change to a Metzeler on the rear have resulted in a marked improvement. I have traveled around both North Island and South Island, Cape Reinga to Bluff. Have done more than 63,000 km, routine servicing, no problems.

My piaggio X8 125ccm at home feels stronger above 60km/h with less displacement and an carburator. Idk. How the fuel quality is maybe an issiue since the fuel here on bali Looks very sketchy to my german eyes Overall im very happy with the pcx and would concider buying one. My piaggio X8 is noticebaly more comfortable
Of all the scooters I saw. The PCX is the only one that already has a bright headlight. Like you dont need aux lights for it. Im also not a fan of keyless bikes. Once mag lowbat ung remote, hassle na e ON ung bike. (Saw it from my fellow gsx r150 users). Hehe
The 2011-2013 models can accommodate a 200cm+ rider since they still have the removable seat humps. Apparently Honda didn't want taller riders for their newer lineups.
I don't like the body looks kind of cheap smooth not so many edges, I assume this is America's version of the Elite 125 unfortunately I don't think it's available in the US :(
The 150's most favor US laws, 125's favor laws in areas such as where you mention hence why the 125 was sold in the US for 1 year, the 150 (actually a 153cc) for several and counting. Over 150cc are US interstate legal (but NOT ideal).
If it really doesn't do much over 110mpg what's the point in buying it over an $1800 USD Honda Navi, besides the obvious saving the planet and being future-proof stuff?
The Navi only gets 79mpg and has a 0.9 gallon tank including the reserve, so you will be filling up every 40-50 miles. One bike is automatic, the other is not. Just whatever your preferences are.
@Sean B in the Philippines, its a universal motorcycle license; whether its a 50cc scooter or moped or a 1000cc big bike, its only one license you need.
This version of the PCX is for the Philippine market. Features like ABS and disc brakes front and rear are a little too expensive for the average Filipino scooter owner. Thus, the prevalence of drums on scooters and many motorcycles in the Philippines.
“I’m just old school like that.”…. “Nah, you’re just old.”😂 Too funny. I can relate. But the electronic key fob is actually kinda cool once you get used to it. Just sit on the bike, twist & go. Easy peasy. The Honda PCX is probably one of the best commuter vehicles. I rode the PCX a lot when i lived in Asia. Now that I’m back in the US, I really miss it. I just might have to get one now! Heh heh heh 😈 🛵💨
I actually love how Honda left the handle bars exposed & not covered in ugly plastic like so many other scooters. Looks so much classier.
