The model that came after your first version red pcx in the video is the model you showed in the video is from 2018 and later. The first series LED models produced between 2014 and 2017 were quite nice and durable. In 2018 and later, the keyless start feature came with the models you showed as 2018 and later. The engine you showed as 2014 in the video is from 2018 and later.
Wow 105mpg ? i have a Burgman 400 and i'm very impressed by the fuel economy, i get about 70mpg with 13L tank, so the range is about 350-400km (220-260miles)
I agree about the horn placement. There was a standard set many years ago so all motorcycles would have the same locations for rear brake pedal, front brake, shifter location and operation (no more cassette shifters, etc). So I don't understand why Honda broke the norm for horn button placement. It drove me crazy for a while getting used to the new location. Pressing the horn instead of the turn signal. And needing to quickly hit the horn and only activating the turn signal. That muscle memory was hard to change.
It's a good idea to keep a 12V jump starter under the seat. They're cheap and about the size of a power bank. The PCX has no kickstart and cannot be push started.
I'd go with the adv160 just because i like taller bikes and a little bit more suspension for jumping curbs. But I have not ridden any adv160 or pcx160 :)
I have a 2011 pcx, I bought it thinking that I will replace it with a newer model once this dies or something goes wrong enough.....it happens it is still working like the first day with 45.000km! I cant find a reasonable excuse to buy the newer model. haha oh... I forgot to mention... The only thing I REALLY hate of this model are the headlights, the HS5 Halogen lamps are super expensive (Stanley) and there are only a few manufacturers who make the replacement. Led bulbs from aliexpress are not suitable for this bike, they light up but the beam is atrocious. Thats why after 2013 honda released the pcx featuring LEDs overall
Good point about the headlights. I forgot those, i had mine modified to accept h4's. Can't believe they came stock with those hs5. Ridiculous. I find the same thing, i think for scooters this is as close to perfect you can get, the only thing id get is another pcx.
Hi, even in india we think HONDA motorcycles are best. People automatically say HONDA for motorcycles/scooters and TOYOTA for car for their reliability and durability. JAPAN makes good engines.
I got the pcx for 1000$ but i had to drive all the way to NC. It needed work but mechanically it was great. I actually should have bought one a little more expensive with less miles. Im already at 19k. The headlight was from a 2013 according to the ebay seller, but i believe it was a more modern one with the extra bulbs in the assymbly. I had to hand wire it for it to work. But it looks great.
They don't have the nmax in the U.S. But i did see it all over europe as well. Can't really compare it. We do have the Smax and Xmax here but they are very rare.
sorry in my opinion sir its the different however they are same made by honda in terms of reliability flexibility and h way power its the brother of pcx is the best
i bought mine brand new 1 year ago and i love it

I have a 2020 that takes a key. Wierd I saw that too but my title and sticker says 2020
I've owned 50 cc to 600 cc scooters, the PCX is the best all around street scooter, in my opinion. Trying to get another one.
You can't go wrong with a PCX!
You are the best bro…. Thank you for fixing my dirt bike
Happy to help

Yeah this one gets incredible mpg. And imagine with some heavier roller weights it can do even better. The zuma 125 i have gets 95.

Could you do a video on how you added those amber lights near the headlights?
Great Video thanks
No hazard lights, correct? Did any year PCX in the US come with them?

Awesome Video. If you had to choose between a new PCX 160 or the ADV 160, and the price was exactly the same, which would you go for?
I'd go with the adv160 just because i like taller bikes and a little bit more suspension for jumping curbs. But I have not ridden any adv160 or pcx160 :)
What year is this bike?
This one is a 2013
The front tire looks like it is mounted wrong. The direction of the tread is not facing the direction of rotation.
After you mentioned i looked at it It does seem it's backwards. But thats the correct rotation.

If it dies
For a scooter, its fast too. Really liked the wind blowing in my hair and my face. 40mph is way too fast for me, no need for it to be any faster.
Stop start is stupid. Youre getting 90 mpg. Thats better than a prius

How much did you pay for your 2013 PCX?

why not the Yamaha NMAX?

ever heard of yamaha aerox
no never have, ill have to research that. Do you own one?

Have you completed a valve adjustment? It's brutal to get to the engine head. Engineers should be ashamed.
Bro i literally got this bike 1400 miles like new for 1700$ cash steal of a bike goes 70-75mph 😂😂😂
Nice, how do you get it to go 70-75mph?
Gloves and flip flops, can't take you seriously
