Hello everybody, I just found out about this...Yes, I wrote the lyrics and the music in 1997. and Igor Ruf recorded it in a studio in U.S.A. in 1999 I think. He is the singer on this track and he played all the guitars, bass and drums. Jesus was a working name for the band that was to play this and other songs that I wrote in English, but never came to be. By the 2000's we formed a band Cota G4 and recorded and played only songs in Croatian...🙂
That is awesome! This piece is indeed beautiful. Didn't know it was Igor singing, someone said it was actually you. Also would this track be credited towards 'The Dustbin', your duo group with Igor that did mostly songs in English?
Very sad how since 2012 this video sat with so little views. I am sorry you could not find this song for such long time. i wish to know it as well. Sadly I have no idea who could be the singer but I suggest you try on reddit.
@@OldClassicGamer I would have also guessed this was commercially released, as it sounds too good to be a demo tape, or radio broadcast. Considering it was likely released, I'd be willing to bet this would be solved quickly only if more people watched this video.
Hi there...This is Igor Ruf.. this song was recorded in october 1998. as I was working with Marko at the time , we had recorded this song a few months before this version, but I dont know where it is. I was really suprised seeing this investigation. 👍
Hi Igor, this is a beautiful piece and I love this song! Since we solved the mystery I have it on my phone and listen to it almost daily. Do you happen to remember the official lyrics for this piece?
My fiancé broke up with me recently, just before our wedding. We've been together for several years, I thought that she was the one... She ran away with a man who's very, very similar to me, he has the same name, he looks the same, he listens to the same music, has the same gestures and manner of speech. The only difference is that he has a lot of money, while I don't, and maybe he's easier to be around. God, how mistaken I was. It was all, all for nothing. All the time we spent together, all the thoughts, all the songs... This song helps me though. I gotta live, I gotta move forward no matter how hard it might be. I have to continue studying and writing my book, I have to talk to my friends more even if I don't have much to say to them. It's just like that - if something like that happens, you just gotta move forward, step by step, little by little. Everything heals. Everyone is able to live without someone. I can't let it break me.
Literally everybody (or almost everybody) is searching for "Like the Wind". After more than 10 years we still don't know the artist, who wrote it, and how it's actually called.
it sounds like something i would've listened to as a kid, as my dad and i used to listen to rock music from the 70s and 80s a ton, this song's a banger and i'm glad it's been identified!
I find it odd how good quality this is, especially since you said it's been on your computer for 15 (now 23 years) meaning it's somewhere from 1991 - 1997.
Definitely quite Survivor influenced, sounds to be mid to late 80’s, maybe about 86-88. It’s good. Sounds to be of studio quality, maybe an album that never got finished.
We should check Napster or AOL or some 1991-1997 messaging or music sharing program, it's so good quality, I think this guy must've downloaded it off of his PC due to the high studio quality. I truly think the song name is actually "Jesus"
@@MrDomagoj96 "Jesus' was the placeholder name for the band, wasn't it? It could be posted on the internet or filesharing websites and you downloaded it
Hi, this song reminded me of a cover of Who Wants To Live Forever by Queen In this video ua-cam.com/video/m7dBRmA7wiQ/v-deo.html I have no idea who sings it or what year it’s from but their voices sounded really similar to me. I asked the uploader of the video who covered it but I haven’t got a reply yet. It’s probably not the same person but it’s just who I thought. I think the guy in the video has more of an accent but I’m not quite sure. It’s just my guess!

It sounds really good.
Agreed 100%. It's a very good song. Definitely sounds mid-late 90's to me, and probably is going by the description
It's also high quality rip so I bet this was released on audio CD for sure. Sadly lyrics searching proved to be of no help.
