The big pro for me was the beautiful sweet clean channel and I did liked it very much. Not at all boxy, this seemingly rarely taken seriously these days. A lot of them sound boxy these days! Shame on you amp makers! There are a lot of good things about this amp. Like the good looks ofcourse. The easy bias adjustment. The two master volumes( great !!).That said, there wasn't much reverb comming out but the sound was oké. The EQ didn't do much either, way up or way down. The channel switching does pop a bit, that felt to me like amateurs work. But when you just playing at home I would not bother about that so much. I had some bad luck with them because two times I had to send it back because of the freqentie noise( from one of the transformers?). When I would stand over the amp the freqentie was there and when you sit for the amp it wasn't there. And it was not my guitar, pretty irritating. I like a quiet amp...Besides all that, the amp was to heavy for me to bring it upstairs every day after guitar lessons. So I decided not to go with this one. If Marshall would make a DSL20CV with two master volumes. Better Transformers, better EO balance and reverb, I would be the first to buy two of them.... Good times with your beautiful and sweet sounding amp.And hopefully you have better luck.
Have you liked it? Just ordered mine, love the look
