u-he's Zebra has been around since 2003 - it was one of their first highly flexible and capable instruments and as such became a go -o software instrument for many producers and sound designers.
u-he call it a "wireless modular synth" and it is a highly configurable synthesizer with multiple oscillator and filter types, modulation sources and destinations and classy effects.

I bought Zebra2 way over ten years ago. Since then it received numerous free updates, and I also got the Zebra legacy collection for free. Insane customer service from u-he. Zebra will always be my desert island synth.

U-HE Softsynths are my absolute favourites. Always coming back to Diva and Hive2, and Howard Scarr's Sounds are simply legendary! Always inspiring!

I’ve been putting it off for ages, even after the Dark Knight patches, but I’m definitely getting this one. I’ve always been very impressed with U-he’s synths.
I always enjoy watching your videos. I took the Zebra for 99 euros when it was offered. They are correct. They warn that the price is low because the Zebra 3 will arrive. For now I am enjoying this stupendous synt which I highly recommend. I'm slowly giving each patch a colored score to be able to find them more easily in the future. but it's a long job. I realized that many sounds that I thought were not very beautiful turn out to be interesting on second listen. It is very fun and intuitive to change sounds and get other ones. Starting from scratch and creating a sound is a bit more complicated for me. But with 4000 very interesting sounds I think I will devote myself more to the modifications. The only problem is that when you start using it hours go by without you realizing it. Greeting from Italy.

Since my music is largely Blue Grassy/Country Gospel there wasn't a lot of room for synth's in my arrangements, tho back in my secular days I used a Pro one to play bass on along with a DX7 for the right hand. But now I'm retired from touring and wanted to get back into some synth stuff and maybe write some "Synthphonies". I had a bunch of free plugs, some quite good but in particular I was taken by Tyrell and Zebralette from U-he, both free. But I kept hearing about Diva being so good. So wanting to get a bit deeper into synths, I made the mistake of downloading the demo of Diva. Turned out to be a bit costly lol! I fell in love instantly and paid the fee to get rid of the static in the demo. Then came Hive 2. Then came the Sequential Pro pair because I had loved the pro one so much when I was using if for bass. And then, Zebra went on sale with all the sounds for 99 bucks. You cannot be serious! Now I have quite the arsenal of U-he stuff and I'm in synth heaven. They are just the best I have ever heard when it comes to plug ins. I love them all. So many sounds, so little time!!

Thanks for showing I recently purchased this one and it has so many presets and the sound of Zebra is amazing, I would like to know *when Zebra2 was released?*, I read that Zebra was since 2003 but I think this was version 1 of it.
