Hey my Man. I am never aware of reaction videos to my episodes. Your video was just shown to me with the note, that I should watch it. Anyway, first of all thanks for your kind words. I am very happy when my show got you some joy. This is the reason why I am still doing this. Concerning Lebron... I try to stay away from negativity. If I talk about negative stuff I always try to stay respectful. Lebron is one of the greatest, but for me he is lacking too many Goat Qualities. He can still be proud of a great career, but goats are on a different level...
And to you, keep going with your show. I wish you all the best my friend

The media did a hell of a job "selling" the narrative that LeBron is part of a conversation he has no business being in, and comparing him to MJ is absolutely laughable. I still don’t understand how they’ve managed to trick so many people who should know better because they have seen better players live at their best.

Thank you! So many are missing this. They compare it to Thanasis and it’s so wrong. Giannis is fulfilling his brother’s dream; LeBron is fulfilling his own dream.
Going into the NBA unprepared will turn Bronny into a bust and that’s not fair to him. He’s messing with his kids psyche to stroke his own ego.

@@dta1329 I agree,The Thanasis and Bronny situation are completely different. Thanasis can handle playing in the league because he's shown he can and he's a 31 year old guy That has paid his dues playing in the g- league and Bronny hasn't played that much in college so a lot of people don't think he's ready for the NBA and should've stayed in college to get more playing time and experience. I just hope that this decision that he's being pushed into by his father won't destroy his confidence as a basketball player.

@@Jimmy-ik2kc First of all Thanassis is a MUCH BETTER player than Bronny... Thanassis wouldn't be scoring 3ppg against college kids... Thanassis has played in the Euroleague and was one of the best defense/energy guys in the league there... Thanassis has guarded 18 year old Luka Doncic with decent success in the Euroleague... the same kid that came into the NBA and was an instant 20-25 points a night...
Sorry but Bronny is a 0ppg player in the NBA... he is a mediocre af college kid... one of those that not only not make it to the NBA but barely make a low end pro league in the world and most probably they get a 9-5 job and a college degree cause he's not pro basketball material... all he has is a super famous daddy who wants to put him in the league by force... also Bronny is 6'1"-6'2" with mediocre ball handling and barely a jump shot... what NBA team in their own mind would play this kid even for 5 seconds if his daddy wasn't LeDiva?
Sorry but comparing Bronny to Thanassis is a HUGE insult to Thanassis who has played at a much higher level than most college kids will dream of playing... people need to realize that out of the hundreds and hundreds of college basketball players every year only about 10-20 have even a decent career in the NBA... and Bronny isn't even top 100 in this year's college crop...

    - LeBron James: 2019 -> FAILED to make the NBA Playoffs, 2020 -> Asterisk BUBBLE Consolation Prize, 2021 -> LOST in the 1st Round, 2022 FAILED to make even the NBA PLAY-IN Tournament👀😅, 2023 SWEPT 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals, and 2024 Gentlemen’s SWEEP 4-1 in the 1st Round. Now we see why LeBron James went to 8 straight NBA Finals. Michael Jordan locked the GOAT Position at #1. Now ranking Kareem, Magic, Kobe, and Bird ahead of LeBron James sounds very logical. And yes, the basketball world is starting to rank Tim Duncan over LeBron James as well.🔥

@Jimmy-ik2kc if Joker wins it all this year, I think you can make a case that joker is knocking on a spot ahead of LeBron. 2 rings with no all star team mates?
Bird is definitely above him, I have Bird equal first with Michael - I can back this up, but for sure beating the Showtime even once with his lineup puts him there, you think anyone would remember McHale if Bird didn't carry him to the promised land 3 times?
Magic/Kareem easy 3/4, I can go either way on those two in ordering.
Kobe is leagues above LeBron, I have him at 5, but wouldn't complain about anyone placing him as high as 3.
Before you even *start* looking, LeBron can't be top 5.

I think many of the people that think LeBron James is, the goat are younger people, and they are just believing what they have been told from media that LeBron James has spent the last decade trying to control the narrative.
Are used to really like LeBron James a lot. As a diehard Laker fan I was actually excited that he came to the team, I even have a LeBron James number 23 Lakers jersey that I bought when he joined the team. I celebrated the bubble championship even. I have all the receipts on my social media accounts.
But it felt like right after he won his fourth championship the only one he has won with the Lakers that his company/ Klutch Sports, and the media members that are signed to that company stepped on the gas with trying to make people believe he’s the goat and one of the things they did was disrespect Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
They had been disrespecting Michael Jordan, and even when I liked LeBron, I never thought he was the goat. I just kind of thought. He was one of the best of his generation. But then the Kobe Bryant disrespect started happening. When your pain people to disrespect a Laker legend that is no longer here to defend himself. That’s what made me throw in the towel.
All of LeBron’s accomplishments besides his career stats, he would not have achieved if he didn’t control the media for MVP and he wasn’t on super teams in a conference. That was so bad that they had teams with losing records in the conference.
So yes, if you have a team with three or four All-Stars on it and you’re in a conference that is garbage you’re basically the Celtics team of the 80s in a conference full of good high school teams. So no it’s not impressive He went to the finals eight years in a row.
Since he’s came to the west, the only time he’s made it to the finals was on another team with four people that were multitime all stars some of them former champions, some of them had lead teams to the finals, and that was also the year that it was Covid, and if the season would have played out like it should have the seating would have been completely different and I don’t think they would’ve made it.
Did Shaquille O’Neal from 2008 through 2010 prove to me that Kobe was the guy I would pick over LeBron James any day.

Second of all, at 16:21 you paused the interview and the frame is unfortunate as hell. Kobe holds back the tears and the rage even before he started speaking. The dedication was IMMENSE, he would NEVER say "it's just basketball".
Also also, in the same press conference from where that great quote is, LeChoke was saying something about OTHERS not willing to strive for perfection. After saying that he made a dumbass glance at all the reporters as a cringe inducing seconds passed by.

Yeah that pause at 16:21 shows that pain. But even then he didn't make excuses. Also, thank you. I'm enjoying doing this and learning some stuff along the way as well.

BTM is my favorite basketball channel. Great video and I agree with his assessment also on Lebron. When you have almost 40 years of watching basketball, certain players stick out and players from that era wouldn’t be caught dead flopping or giving up on defense

Exactly. Like right now i just watched Ant go hard at the rim and couldn't move after landing. He looked paralyzed. But eventually got up and is back out there playing hard and not complaining. I notice these things.

I'm Algerian born in 1992. And i confess. After the madness of Jordan popularity around the planet, we here went back to favorite sport which is soccer. And the next guy of whom i heard of from American basketball league, was Steph Curry! The little sneaky sniper got a sudden world popularity! I heard of Lebron next. When he (i mean Kyrie!) won against Curry in 2016! That's how much very little popular that guy is outside USA!
People appreciate hustling showmen who do anything to win. He's none. Just a spoiled freak of nature.

Good!!! That just proves that the only reason Lebron is popular here in the states is because of the media constantly pushing him down our throats. Steph should be the face of the league right now.

The first time I saw Lebron do one of his patented, bulldoze to the rim, not finish thru the contact, then stand flatfooted whining at the refs instead of getting back on defense, and then 5 seconds later running down the floor and getting a sneaky chasedown block and the crowd going wild and the television announcers going wild, and then watch him look for the Closeup Camera so i he could make sure his little pose was all lined up....i was fckin nauseated.
It was clear from that moment forward what he was: an entertainer who cared more about being treated as the greatest than he did being the greatest

The same media that says he’s donating all this money is the same media that tells us that he’s the greatest of all time. I don’t believe anything unless I see it for myself. I’d bet he donates very very little compared to what they say he does.

The fact that people really expect me to not believe my OWN EYES. "He's putting up decent numbers at his age" but at what cost? The position time. The lack of two way motion. The amount of time he needs the ball is a disrespect to a 20 year old. 25 points is not great in this era it's EASY to get that these days with the game as it's played.

      Agreed 100%
Scoring 25 now is like scoring 18 in the MJ or Kobe era.

I mean are you freaking kidding me? I have never seen a supposed "GOAT" react that way. Also, I knew in that moment Darvin was gone
