The media did a hell of a job "selling" the narrative that LeBron is part of a conversation he has no business being in, and comparing him to MJ is absolutely laughable. Thanasis can handle playing in the league because he's shown he can and he's a 31 year old guy That has paid his dues playing in the g- league and Bronny hasn't played that much in college so a lot of people don't think he's ready for the NBA and should've stayed in college to get more playing time and experience. I just hope that this decision that he's being pushed into by his father won't destroy his confidence as a basketball player.

I don't think he was that talented . He had the strength and speed to bully himself against smaller players to the rim but he has no skills(no bag) and you can't depend on him in the clutch time to knock down a mid-range shot, a 3 pointer or to make crucial free throws when needed. We know he will blame everyone else when they lose but take all the credit when the team wins like he played by himself.

Totally agree with you. LeBron's legend is a manufactured one. His feats are mostly deflections for his many, many failures. You've got to be amazed at how we're somehow now supposed to put someone who went to the Finals 10 times and only winning 3.5 times, over someone who's went undefeated in all six of his NBA Finals appearances. I think many of the people that think LeBron James is, the goat are younger people, and they are just believing what they have been told from media that LeBron James has spent the last decade trying to control the narrative. Are used to really like LeBron James a lot. As a diehard Laker fan I was actually excited that he came to the team, I even have a LeBron James number 23 Lakers jersey that I bought when he joined the team. I celebrated the bubble championship even. I have all the receipts on my social media accounts. But it felt like right after he won his fourth championship the only one he has won with the Lakers that his company/ Klutch Sports, and the media members that are signed to that company stepped on the gas with trying to make people believe he’s the goat and one of the things they did was disrespect Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. They had been disrespecting Michael Jordan, and even when I liked LeBron, I never thought he was the goat. I just kind of thought. He was one of the best of his generation. But then the Kobe Bryant disrespect started happening. When your pain people to disrespect a Laker legend that is no longer here to defend himself. That’s what made me throw in the towel. All of LeBron’s accomplishments besides his career stats, he would not have achieved if he didn’t control the media for MVP and he wasn’t on super teams in a conference. That was so bad that they had teams with losing records in the conference. So yes, if you have a team with three or four All-Stars on it and you’re in a conference that is garbage you’re basically the Celtics team of the 80s in a conference full of good high school teams. So no it’s not impressive He went to the finals eight years in a row. Since he’s came to the west, the only time he’s made it to the finals was on another team with four people that were multitime all stars some of them former champions, some of them had lead teams to the finals, and that was also the year that it was Covid, and if the season would have played out like it should have the seating would have been completely different and I don’t think they would’ve made it. Did Shaquille O’Neal from 2008 through 2010 prove to me that Kobe was the guy I would pick over LeBron James any day.

Re: donating to charities: for someone with a huge income, donations are a tax deduction which really amounts to allocating money to your chosen causes rather than paying tax (sorry, my internal attorney had to mention this) so for a person with a huge income to donate to charities, it's akin to having the privilege to decide where your tax money goes. Regular folks don't make enough money for this loophole to be doable. So these very public donations aren't as selfless as they sounds. Especially if some of your donations or non-profit deductions are related to things like a Self Glorification Museum and other similar nonsense.
100% I only donate anonymously. If you really care you walk away proud knowing you made a difference. If you advertise it like Lebron then its for both clout and for a tax deduction. Turns out Jordan donated a bunch anonymously and it has only recently come to surface despite him hiding it.

I dislike the guy and what the NBA has become because of him, but being objective he is top15. He is a great player. I think many of the people that think LeBron James is, the goat are younger people, and they are just believing what they have been told from media that LeBron James has spent the last decade trying to control the narrative.
Are used to really like LeBron James a lot. As a diehard Laker fan I was actually excited that he came to the team, I even have a LeBron James number 23 Lakers jersey that I bought when he joined the team. I celebrated the bubble championship even. I have all the receipts on my social media accounts.
But it felt like right after he won his fourth championship the only one he has won with the Lakers that his company/ Klutch Sports, and the media members that are signed to that company stepped on the gas with trying to make people believe he’s the goat and one of the things they did was disrespect Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
They had been disrespecting Michael Jordan, and even when I liked LeBron, I never thought he was the goat. I just kind of thought. He was one of the best of his generation. But then the Kobe Bryant disrespect started happening. When your pain people to disrespect a Laker legend that is no longer here to defend himself. That’s what made me throw in the towel.
All of LeBron’s accomplishments besides his career stats, he would not have achieved if he didn’t control the media for MVP and he wasn’t on super teams in a conference. That was so bad that they had teams with losing records in the conference.
So yes, if you have a team with three or four All-Stars on it and you’re in a conference that is garbage you’re basically the Celtics team of the 80s in a conference full of good high school teams. So no it’s not impressive He went to the finals eight years in a row.
Since he’s came to the west, the only time he’s made it to the finals was on another team with four people that were multitime all stars some of them former champions, some of them had lead teams to the finals, and that was also the year that it was Covid, and if the season would have played out like it should have the seating would have been completely different and I don’t think they would’ve made it.

Re: donating to charities: for someone with a huge income, donations are a tax deduction which really amounts to allocating money to your chosen causes rather than paying tax (sorry, my internal attorney had to mention this) so for a person with a huge income to donate to charities, it's akin to having the privilege to decide where your tax money goes. Regular folks don't make enough money for this loophole to be doable. So these very public donations aren't as selfless as they sounds. Especially if some of your donations or non-profit deductions are related to things like a Self Glorification Museum and other similar nonsense.

Considering I work in finance and as a lawyer any money donated is a tax write off.. not mention any foundation 401c is tax exempt so I have to disagree with Lebron James donating money for good causes because just like Hilary Clinton or any other politician it’s just virtue signaling and is more for him than anyone misfortunate.

I dislike the guy and what the NBA has become because of him, but being objective he is top15. He is a great player. I accept that he can perhaps even be a top 10 player, not for me but I can see why some people may think that and make some valid points about it.
