This was such a good video. Half way through I was like “oh shit this is an actual professional athlete”. You just have the comedy and cadence of a natural UA-camr. Super good stuff
Hi Trev, just stumbled onto your video and loved it, you're entertaining to say the least. I'm 64 years old and was a pitcher in high school and being scouted by MLB teams. At 16 l was clocked at 90 mph and able to throw a baseball 100 yards right through the uprights. If l hadn't hurt my knee which put me out of commission for a few years being that l didn't have the $$$$ for doctors etc., etc. By the time I was 19 l was back and throwing in the low 90's but was really never able to keep myself from pain which was sad, the rest you can figure out. I just want to say I wish l could have had a pitching coach like you had, who knows what might have been. All luv to you young man. ⚾🔥⚡🌪️🌭🥨🍿🍻 ❤️⚾❤️⚾❤️⚾❤️⚾
Trevor, your so hilarious. honestly. Twins fan here, and again need to say, thank you for working so hard for us. Those last couple of years were pretty sweet, and i was pulling for you since the trade that brought you to us. I hope you have a wonderful retirement, and these videos for someone like me who is now 35 with no professional sport chance, its really fun to get to know you, and know your craft.
When you do long toss as a catcher all the time and realize you’ll never throw anything but meat if you’re ever on the mound. That’s my existence. Love your videos dude. Hope to buy you a beer one day!
Where can I find the other channel he was talking about where he said he would go really in depth into everything. I looked in the description but all I found was a gaming channel that hasn’t been posted on in 3 weeks. I’m going to start doing this stuff everyday and would really appreciate it if I found that other channel
Hey Trevor, how heavy of a med ball do you like to use for the slams and yeets and what not? I now see the ball you used in the vid is 10 lbs lol, any reason in particular though? Also wondering how many days a week you’d long toss? Thank you🤝
Hey Trevor I also have recently had a back issue derail my season and I’m curious what yours was and how you overcame it. Would love a reply thanks Trevor
Here's the technical channel link - www.youtube.com/@neptunepitching The first video had some extras I filmed corrupted, so the first video will be up in the next couple days! More info on the channel coming soon.
Baseball has really changed over the last ten years. Now it's all about velocity and spin rates. This is why high school pitchers are getting TJ surgery. It's also why the walk rate among pitchers has shot up. It's not easy to control a high-velocity fastball or a high-rotation slider.
You should try to throw 97 again, but, knowing what you know now, be smart about it, sir! Oh, and, not only should you try to do it, but reach out to the Momentum channel and challenge Eric Sim to the 10 AB challenge, and get him absolutely folded. Thanks! Lol
Trevor, do you believe that a pitcher's command is a teachable skill OR is it an athletic quality that you either have or you don't? I wouldn't want to see you throw 97, I'd rather you tried for 101. I'll even throw in a hula hoop and a Shakira soundtrack
@@CCDaDon15 Nah, this isn’t for a showcase. I’ve seen him hit 97, he knows he could still hit 97. He’s had access to some top notch coaches, played and trained with players who changed something and had a jump in Velo while maintaining command. Like he had mentioned earlier this week on X, look at the difference in Luke Weaver’s game. Plus he wants a hula hoop
I was throwing 83-85 my sophomore year of highschool and blew out my arm trying to impress the coaches. For any highschool kids in here please ice and stretch for AT LEAST 30 mins. And no this isnt a “i got a bum knee” story😂. I was legitimately being scouted and now Im 25 and washed up fat boy. Kids have all the technology and youtube they could ever need these days and Im a little jelly but I hope they take advantage of it all
@@brianrounding4283 why don’t people believe that people can be good at sports online😂. No Im a righty. I only hit 85 once that year but Im 6’2 200 so Its not as impossible as u think man

BBL drizzy and crocheting to start a video got me dying 😂
Knitting. TYL. 😉
Honestly, who doesn’t love this guy. He’s just so funny and so informative at the same time, and I’m going to throw 130 when I’m in the big leagues

Great editing and great story telling, loved the vid.

By far my new favorite UA-cam channel.
Keep it up!
"Long toss" was my absolute favorite pitching workout. And once we started long tossing from the knees? Oh baby!
Trevor, that video you mentioned in the video that was in the description, I cant find
Doing a pull down as a change up to develop a better change up might be the best advice I had ever heard , and we get this all for free
Let’s go!! Worked with Wes (Vivian) at Mississippi State in 2016.
One of my favorite people, so I love seeing him mentioned here.
You can really tell you are immersing yourself into this. Your growth is impressive.
As a White Sox fan, I can confirm the bullpen is always wet because of our bitter tears at the fact that Reinsdorf still owns the team
Great video Trevor! Much appreciated! Macaron! Which link is the link to the Technical channel for pitching?
First started watching you on twitch. Love your vids man, keep it up. All the way from Melb Australia.

You and your vid are legit! Can't find the vid breaking down the velo program. Would love to see it uploaded on your main channel
Does anyone know the name of the other channel with the in depth mechanical stuff, I can’t find the link
The video got corrupted. I’m working on it and will update tomorrow.

Super informative! Love it! I've heard Macarons are really hard to make.
It is time for a refresher. I play adult league in Colorado, and always want to get better, even at 31. Thanks Trevor
Great stuff. Thank you for what you do.
Loved this video

I need to see Trevor may vs Eric sim vs Trevor Bauer
Fantastic intro
"Think of the ground as a banana"🍌🍌🍌
That you know the difference between a macaron & macaroon is yet another reason why you're the boss, Trevor. Still loving the content.
Macaron. Great vid Trev!

Thought I was watching Dallas Braden until I realized he was knitting
Of course they gave you code Baseball for focus fuel
Funny story. I got a Paul molitor autograph as a kid as at a game but it was a super glossy card and my sharpie just blotched everywhere
Trevor!!!! Is the Discord link broken?
Hey uh, where’s the link, Trev?
What’s the other account where he shows the technical stuff he mentioned?
@neptunepitching. I'm currently putting some things together and will begin posting very soon.
I believe you still got that ⛽️
This video was highly informative and seriously funny af. The biggest take away from this video is the difference of a Macaron and a macaroon.
The discord group link isnt working.
You should rank every team’s MLB stadium based off the experiences you had there, hotel, stadium, etc. I think that would be a good video.
Great video, I need to see 97 I also know you can do it😂
You should do a “current state of baseball” to catch all the casuals up! Haven’t been into baseball for like 5 years and so much has changed!
have you even used Dmso on your arm .
My wife crochets and she tried to teach me but my fingers and brain are too stupid to understand
What was your heart rate difference between starting and relief? iirc you were hitting like 180bpm in relief
Watching this to improve my blitzball velo haha
What's the intro song?
Macaron need to see u throw 97 again
Trevor! ypu should try 97 in bananaball!!! It should feel like a AAA game yet fun!
u also gotta move some subtitles around but stil good video
yeah he put the wrong subtitle much earlier. But still his editing, charisma is off the charts
You can always come back to Minny and DJ at First Ave.
Can someone please help me with the account he was talking about that goes more into detail?
What med ball is he using?
🧀 loved the video!
what did your coaches say about you doing long tosses? I saw that Trevor bauer's coaches were not happy with him doing so many long tosses.
macaroon, macaron, macron, mac. You're very funny. Should do stand up.
THANK YOU for mentioning that macarons and macaroons are different things.
Is that Robby Rowe in the cut? Haha
i wanna see a years long experiment where u attempt to throw 105.. u prob have a 7 year window left where its physically attainable
just a heads up that discord link didnt work for me
great video tho
Same here.
The Focus Fuel lol
Can you teach Kershaw how to throw hard again🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

would love to see you try and throw 97 again but plz dont hurt yourself lol

BBL TREVOR MAY
I think a Trevor May/Trevor Bauer colab on mechanics video would break the Internet.
Please try to throw 97!!
Trevor 97!!!
So what do you think about everybody using plyo balls nowadays. I think it would be cool explaining your thoughts on those! Thanks
You're going to eat the president of France?

Your subtitles messing up a lil bit dude, lol

You knit but can you bake? Oh yeah, you can. Come on down to Corvallis some night, watch the Knights play. I'll buy ya a beverage.
yes...yes you should try to throw 97 again. and you should have tim or lupo or ninja try to hit said 97 mph pitch lol.
Not sure if you noticed but your shirt changed a bunch
