Your mom's hairstyle is SO CHIC!!! Love it! I wish I could have a wall of wisteria, but where I live it is so invasive! It's so humid here that it grows like crazy and is uncontrollable. You have to be on top of the pruning monthly and who has time for that? (See a video here on UA-cam called "Wisteria Apocalypse" and you'll see what I mean.) I love the idea of a succulent spot in your garden! At the end of your video is a Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta), not a palm at all, but so, so beautiful! They are very, very expensive here in the states, about $100 for a one gallon container. My brother has a huge one in his yard in Georgia USA and it had about six babies all around it. He traded a year of lawn mowing with his landscaper in trade for those babies. Good trade! Cheers from North Carolina USA
What a glorious place to relax on your terrace and having your lunch with Mum. I thoroughly enjoyed your walk around in those gardens and the wisteria was amazing
Wow, when you mum is sitting in the garden, you can really see your likeness to her! Special time together is so important when you live in different countries!
Thanks for taking us along on your sight seeing tour of the gardens, so beautiful. You don't see wisteria grown on walls or buildings here in the US, you really only see them climbing trees in wooded areas where maybe there once was a family home years ago. I hope your Mama had a good time, looks like she was enjoying herself. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
I also never liked cacti/succulents, until I realized that they could be beautiful if arranged well in the right spot. Thanks for bringing us along on this fun visit.
Your Mothers visit has certainly brightened you up. She would just come live with you. So fortunate to have her, my Mom was 100 when she passed. And you both look so much alike..
Wow! I want to come back again to Lake Como. The wisteria is beautiful. Perhaps next time you could ask for s cutting of the pink rose? Hope the sunshine continues for you
Hi Alla, I thought there was no one else as artistically talented as you in the home and garden, but now I see the one other person, your lovely mom! She's so pretty in her apricot coat sitting in the garden 💖 Thank you for taking us to the exquisite Villa Cipressi gardens, I loved it! 🌼🌸🌵
The wisteria on the wall by the road would be beautiful and once established at the top you could use the railings to support it and it would give you privacy and walkers something beautiful to look at.❤ Have you considered a standard wisteria by the fence to the little stream? It would look beautiful and give you privacy and as they mature the twisted stems are stunning.
An idea.....you have many light fittings that need polishing and their glasses need washing ready for the new rooms. Mummy can sit in the garden and polish like crazy and sing her songs.....good idea hey?
Alla… in the USA 🇺🇸 We have a Rose 🌹 called Knock Out Roses They have 2 sizes regular and miniature They bloom all year continuously In Florida Not sure your growing zone They are available here in Florida in many colours Not sure this is the type rose you are trying to find ? The sad part of this rose is that there is NO Scent Sooo The Beauty of the rose must be enough to comfort your desire However you can plant many other wonderful scented Roses Hope this might be what you are looking for “ Knock out roses “
So many beautiful flowers! What a lovely place to visit. To have a villa by the lake must be magical. Alla, your going to need a bigger garden! Can the wisteria cascade down the wall to the stream? Where would you plant it? Sergi can wire the wall to support the wisteria. Rather than cacti, what about a group of different succulents?
Stunning place a gardeners dream, give it time and your channel will just go, thank you for all your hard work. God Bless your charming mom and this time with her, profit!
What a wonderful way to spend time with your Mom and get inspiration for your garden! Have you thought about planting bougainvillea ? It grows rapidly and requires little maintenance. 🥰
Wisteria is my favorite vine! The perfume in the air must be amazing! My father used to grow them looking like umbrellas with the main trunk wrapped around a long iron stake. He had five of them like that on his property. They looked absolutely whimsical in bloom!
The shrub rose that changes colour that you admired at Villa Cipressi is called Rosa Mutabilis.....grows very well in a sunny spot. I have one in my garden in Australia 🇦🇺... you will love it ❤🌹
i recommend acer trees. you can get a vibrant red leafed one thats stunning. also the lace leaved acers are lovley ; these lace leaved ones are slow growing and tend to be lower trees as in not too far off the ground., have a look allla . we know these villas and i agree they are stunning and all different in their lay out and what they grow. villa carlotta is also lovely and villa balbeanello . their is a lovely walk from allong from villa monestero along the road to the next village and up a path by fiume latte then you can take a walk from their to the castello vesio
Is that rose the Carefree Wonder (might have a different name in other countries)? I planted 2 last year and one is doing great, I didn’t realize until today it changes colors (my big dogs broke a big branch on the other so it’s still small but still growing). It’s beautiful! I ordered mine from Heirloom Roses here in the USA. My Variegata di Bologna just started blooming and it’s gorgeous, I’m so happy! 🌹🌹🌹
Alla, I have an Akibia vine (aka Chocolate Vine) and I love it. It can be a bit agressive. I have it on a fence where I want to hide all of the clutter on the other side of the fence. Some people feel even a little bit of maintenance, is too much. They are not my people.
That is an Akebia vine. I have two varieties on my arbor. They bloom in spring and are highly scented. I recommend if you want to cover an arbor for shade. 😊
Living in the desert, I have several agaves in my yard. You DEFINITELY don’t want them planted along a walkway. Their sharp points and jagged teeth are extremely dangerous.
The plant at 9:43 may be a chocolate vine. I took a picture from your video and identified from my iPhone. The plant identification on photos isn’t always accurate but I hope it will be helpful to you.
Astonishing beauty all around you, lucky girl.
Beautiful, thank you for taking us along
The gardens are absolutely gorgeous! 😊
So beautiful, thank you so much for taking us with you. So special for you and your Mum to have such a lovely adventure together. 🥰
So glad the weather was good that you were able to enjoy the villa with your mom❣️The views and gardens were beautiful.😎

The creeper with the strong scent and burgundy coloured flowers is called akebia quinata. I grew it over a fence in Melbourne, Australia.

We now know who you got your work ethic from. Your Mom is fabulous.
WOW
Was that snake poisonous Alla? I have a dread of snakes yuck. The wisteria was so beautiful. Thankyou for sharing Alla 😘
Magnifique!
You are sooo funny! You need everything you see!😂

Does your mum live in Russia? Did she come all that way to visit you?

Your mom has a pixie haircut and so do I. It’s easy to take care of.
Where are you going to put everything you want? There isn't enough room.
Uhh Gauv Vey
In California we say agave, like they say it in Mexico.
Ah-gah-vey is the pronunciation….
@christinehogan1523 ...there is no "y" in agave.
@@PandoraSummer-d9v of course there is not - this is the pronunciation guide to help Alla.
