Seriously! This was not just a simple, innocent "mistake" -- it was clearly a DELIBERATE CHOICE by whoever put together the yearbook to include a photo of the cheerleading squad WITHOUT Morgan in it. I can't even begin to imagine how crushed & humiliated she must have felt when she opened that yearbook & realized she wasn't pictured with the rest of the team. It's disgusting, criminally insensitive & downright outrageous. In my opinion, she deserves a proper apology from her school -- not a simple shrug & an "oops we made a mistake lol." That is not an apology. And this was clearly not just "a mistake." If this was a mistake, why were none of the other girls left out of the yearbook picture? Why was it JUST the one girl who happens to be handicapped? At least own up to the fact that what you did was wrong, apologize DIRECTLY to Morgan & her family & make sure it never, ever happens again. The school owes her that, at least.
How tf is removing a WHOLE PERSON a “mistake”? They made it look as if she was never there in the first place, I highly doubt it was just a “mistake”. This is absolutely disgusting. Edit: Everyone is saying “it is 2 different photos”. That is not the point, the point is that they CHOSE to exclude her, if they wanted her to be in it, they would have not taken 2 separate photos.
If you look closely, she was not edited out. They took separate photos: one where she's in while the other she's out (look at the photos, the other girls posed different). Which means the school did this intentionally. How cruel.
You're right! Didn't notice that. It would have been intentional either way though. Just like taking a second picture without her couldn't have been unintentional, expertly cropping her out wouldn't have been unintentional either.

Hi Maya! 👋 Did it come to your mind that when you were typing this comment, they could’ve meant something different by saying “mistake”? That it could’ve been a mistake in leadership, that they were wrongly informed about what to do, that this could’ve been a mistake in that they didn’t mean to hurt anybody by doing this? No matter the circumstance, I don’t see how anybody could possibly point to “ableism” as a conclusion to be made out of this situation. I think that, if anything, it was due to how she was represented in the photo. She wasn’t wearing the uniform or using proper equipment, not even posing properly. Her disability does not prevent her from doing this things, and if you were to be anywhere near reasonable and not stick to leftist SJW agenda, you’d understand that your perspective on the situation is completely idiotic.

If you look carefully this isn't a photoshop, it's a whole new picture. 1st row, 3rd girl from the left is not smiling when the manager is in photo, in the 2nd photo she is smiling. That rules out a mistake, they intentionally all got together to make a new photo
Usually, when you have group pictures you may take multiple shots, and with various people in different positions. A main one with everyone for things like yearbooks or other formal uses, and more individual/smaller groups ones for independent use. In girl scouts, we would take multiple pictures of the entire troop, then individual friend groups too. And it's entirely possible that they took a picture without her at first, maybe she was getting a drink of water at the time and syill on her way, and they waited to take the next group pic when she got there. It could also be they took the picture with her first, then she got tired of picture taking but the others still wanted to take a few more even if those pictures weren't intended to be used. They likely took more than just these two photos, and whoever was putting them in the yearbook either was sent all of them and chose this one, or was sent the wrong set of pictures entirely. There's a lot of potential explanations for why this could have happened without malicious actions. At the very least, due to other shifts in the picture, this does not appear to be photoshopped, and was simply a picture taken around the same time, probably within a couple minutes of each other.
I don't think they intentionally got together to make a new photo. I'm pretty sure it was just one of the ones they took on the same day, and ultimately decided to pick the one that didn't include her. The other messed up part is not even mentioning her name. Also maybe it is or isn't entirely on the school, but more often times it's the "Yearbook" club or whatever they're called, that curate the yearbook photos, which is usually a bunch of the students. Maybe it wasn't the cheerleading club or adults, but rather some messed up teenager deciding the photo is better without her.
@@afnanjamie2401 it’s the truth. She isn’t wearing the proper uniform, no pompoms anywhere, and she is only the manager. Obviously not a "mistake". What is obvious is two photos were taken, one with her in the middle, and one without her and the Yearbook Editor chose the picture without her. Simple. Own up to it and stop making excuses. As a student that has worked on the senior yearbook, there is the senior yearbook editor that picks the pictures and there is a a teacher that advises and reviews. Unless things have changed, an adult made that decision along with a student. Take responsibility and apologize and make a special edition with her picture included at the school's expense. All proceeds can go to a charity in her name.
Doubt it was the yearbook editor. The advisor for the team probably submitted the photo without her to the yearbook! The cheerleaders included her but the advisor is probably the one who said "Now let's take one just with the girls in uniform..."
That photo was edited.. They didnt set up the team for another photo.. Look closely and you can see all the girls maintain their positions, she was clipped out and then they resituated the bottom row, this was ONE or two people that made this decision.. doubt the team even knew about it..
The photo is not edited. The photo is just two shots, one without her and one with her. And I have proof. I took a side by side comparison of the two shots, and I found something. The third girl in the front row expression changes. Her smile went to no teeth, to teeth. The first girl in the back row changes as well, a smile with teeth to no teeth. As for not being mentioned in the year book, that most likely wasn’t an accident. Edit: Forgot to mention this. Since they took two shots, one without her, the school proves that they don’t like their one kid different from the rest. They most likely wanted to make the yearbook ‘perfect’, but thought “Wait, but we have one kid different from the rest oh no that’s bad.” And decided to take two shots, the shot without her would be ‘perfect’ for them. Another edit: This reply section is like twitter, ngl. I’m not in the mood to argue sooo…yea. Just state your opinion and get the heck off my comment because this reply section isn’t twitter. You don’t have to agree with my opinion or others, and argue about it, I’m just showing y’all my findings and my theory. My theory is that they decided to leave her out all because of one tiny thing, which is not okay. I come back four days later and see this cursed comment section. I’m not trying to pick a fight. I’m just stating something I think and see.
That makes it even worse. Why would they take two different photos. I'm sure they wouldn't take two photos with the 4th girl from the right and another with. That's stupid. It was a coordinated effort to have 2 different "views" and at the end, they chose which to publish. If true, someone or someone's directed to have a photo without her.
Definitely not an accident. Of all the girls that could've had her name taken out of the year book, the one with down syndrome was missing? The odds of not going to the bathroom at all for 24 hours is much higher.
All she had to do was apologize… but her words were very intentional to make excuses for those who gave her a chop, which makes her also part of the problem.

@@liliswan207 that was intentionally done, 2 different pictures, they took one with her so that her family wouldn't be alarmed of her saying that she took no photo with her cheerleader squad during photo day, though the squad potentially had no hand in this but was pressured to take a photo without her because of those people.

If you look carefully this isn't a photoshop, it's a whole new picture. 1st row, 3rd girl from the left is not smiling when the manager is in photo, in the 2nd photo she is smiling. That rules out a mistake, they intentionally all got together to make a new photo
That's so wild
Excluding someone from a photo for what she has no control over is just harsh. Her school is obviously the kind of school that prefers perfection.

I was about to mention how crazy well the 'editing' was. Don't get me wrong, I hate what they did. this clarifies a lot of stuff though lmao
