- We're back with another fried fish dish 🐟! This week, I'll be making the Crispy Cantonese Style Fried Fish With Ginger and Soy. It's crispy, succulent on the inside, salty, and aromatic with crispy ginger floss to top it with and I guarantee it's a dish everybody would love🫰🏻

Ingredients:
Golden Snapper
Ginger - 300gm
Garlic - 1 clove
Pinch of Salt
Cornstarch
soya sauce - 2 tbsp
Msg - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
A Splash of water
Fresh spring onion

Can you please explain how you know it’s time to turn the fish?
Hey there, the time to turn the fish depends on many factors like size of the fish etc as well. Rule of thumb is check for crusting, once the skin of the fish is nice and crusted you’re ready to flip.

We always steam our fish with ginger, coriander, the only time we fry our fish is when it's not as fresh as we want it
We usually go to market to buy fish once or twice a month and keep it inside freezer. If the fiah has been jn the freezer 1-5 day you can thaw it and steam the fish but after 6- 15 days better to fry it.
