Mr.Smith I salute you doing good job entertaining me for yrs.& still today . Thank you
"One of the signs of a true handyman is to figure out how something works & then, be able to use that same technology in an entirely new application.".
That is very true...
Still one of the best shows.
Excellent!!!
The Possum Lodge Word Game sketch may just be the most perfect bit of all time. It’s always the exact same, but is still funny...
Im Australian and have been watching this show for about 2 years. I found that segment not funny at all and thought it was so lame, like i used to just skip it 60 90 seconds just so I didn't have to listen to it. BUT now i like it, I just block my ears and look away and try to guess the word 😂
Well it’s been 20 years and boy was he right
Someone who doesn't find Red Green funny isn't someone I wish to know...
I was at a barbecue and several of us went into the man's prayer together. It was moving.
Amen to that !
I wish I was with your friends
Looks like you already got true friends.
If man doesn't know Red Green, then that's a man not worth knowing.
Love this episode! Thanks as always for these!
That's not a dam! That's Moose Thompson's House!
How can you tell the difference?
@@johnnyhall4335 I'll tell him you said that.
EVERYTHING comes down on the roof of the lodge ... everything ...
my father is at the end he's the one without the vest
Love Red Green. That being said, a man was killed in Yellowstone a few years back. A beaver bit him in the leg and severed his femoral artery. Don't mess with beavers
What was he doing to the beaver?
@ecv03 he was trying to get a selfie with it. Typical Yellowstone tourist crap. We see people doing stupid stuff with and around wild animals all the time.
@@captspaulding8530 sounds right. I remember when I was in Yellowstone a bus of tourist from the orient stopped by a heard of buffalo and the families leaving the bus to try to put the kids on the buffalo. Lucky for there safety a ranger was there.
Ingenious
Red Green definitely built his own roof
Red Greed definitely did not build his own floor
“Look at all this extra firewood.” “We’re gonna need it with that hole in the roof.” True story.
Has anyone tried any of the Handyman's Corner projects; if so how did it turn out?
Lake Woebegone was never like this!
the most clean shaved hair hibernation I ever seen lmao ranger gord
That eves trough thing is priceless 😂
no harold and no bill... seems like the cast is a car that lost a wheel
Makes me wonder how much duct tape is patching the lodge's roof with all the stuff constantly coming through it.
What did Red Green say about making the tent air-tight around 6:28-6:33?...
I still want to see Robin's beaver
Ok that gutter cleaning system is a good idea 👍
Well, the rudeness level has more than doubled in these past 18 years; there's been a huge spike since 2016.
Yes. And it's been encouraged by media of all sorts especially aimed at young people, who are more easily influenced than adults.
Nothing has changed
You obviously wasn’t online in 2000, were you?
16:55 this is basically the Canadian 3 Stooges.
Guess this home improvement Canadians style wow
12:00 Screw that....I want beaver attractant!!!!!!
@2:45 Mike's face
Bet that guy would love 15 cheeseburgers
Wow, john byner!!!
What's the deal with Dalton's hair? It's styled in early seasons and when he's at home in this episode. Other times, he's got bed head.
I guess he's become so cheap that he won't bother investing in a new hair brush, or even shampoo.
He stopped caring, he’s so bored and upset at everything that he just doesn’t bother anymore
Stress
Dynamite cures beaver infestations
mike hammer just said keep you mouth shut😄
What really happened to Harold ??????
He has a good job in the city working for the man every night and day !
:-)
The canned laughter in this episode is so overbearing and annoying I can barely finish it >.
I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess 😀
Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati ....
Red hit the nail on the head with society going down hill in 20 years
Yeah, half of them can't even figure out if they're a boy or a girl. I'm thankful that I was born in the 80s and got to be a happy tomboy.
Amen
The funny thing is that his communist Uber libtard beliefs are the problem
I would have loved to be at one of the lodge meetings
Funniest thing is: _a _*_lot_*_ of the stuff Red makes would _*_almost_*_ WORK!!_
Just like coyote
Like a fine wine , the Red Green Show just got better with age..
Dude it might be one of best contribution to Canadian Comedy since SCTV and Strange Brew
@@emperortrevornorton3119
Don't forget Fernwood Tonight which became SCTV and the last funny one that I know of, Schitts Creek. Lol.😜😆🤣 Wasn't Mary Hartman also Canadian?
I'm surprised the solution to the plot was to blow up the dam, and yet no appearance by Edgar. At least he got at least a mention near the end.
Sure enjoying these old episodes...
Thanks, Uncle Red!
13:57 the sound effect after gord threw the alarm clock was priceless 😂
2021 a Canadian Treasure long live RED GREEN
The show was absolutely great. Loved it!
A rare treat: a Buzz reference and an Edgar reference in a span of two minutes! Plus Ed being normal and participating in the Adventures sketch was cool and gave him some added depth that we haven’t gotten yet
For a Canadian comedy, this is rather funny...
I'm an American & always heard of how funny this show was dating back to a commercial I saw on WTTW-11 in the Chicagoland area when I was a kid & after downloading a few episodes of 'The Red Green Show' when I was in the 6th grade, I've been hooked on it, ever since.
Gutters that fold down for easy cleaning? That makes sense!
If the woman don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy
The gutter would have to be made more stiff. And you'd need a chain or cable with a pulley to pull it back up.
But it could be made to work.
A hinge at the corner and a better way to guide it down and it’s a genius improvement...I’d say a pole that hooks onto it, with the hinge being a few feet from the end
@@bostonrailfan2427 Stupid question: Does the hinge have to be at the corner? If you put the hinge more to the center, it should make the task of tipping it easier.
@@lesliemills3153 i was thinking that it saves on cleaning the ground as it’s piled onto one spot
The outboard motor was a beautiful touch! 👍
They GNAWWW! All the pain of biting, but very, very slow...👹
Ed Frid has to be one of Rick Green’s most inspired creations.
This guy is a hoot .
That gutter job is actually genius imma do it
The sketch about the television brought back memories; the days of analog television
Yeah, Red ROCKS!
The stock sound-effects that you hear around 16:44-16:51 are fantastic...
Funny show
I mean, if I was gonna get rid of a beaver dam, I get a bow, some arrows, some dynamite and the Handyman's Secret Weapon. Granted, it's similar to what they ended up doing.
This is up there with The Andy Griffith Show as far as I'll always enjoy watching the re-runs over and over.
God How I Miss this Show! We the world so desperately need such GREAT and Wholesomely Clean comics that can create good clean comedy like this again! All without swearing and sexualized nature without getting too 🌽 corney in the jokes, but that's what keeps things and this show so interesting and creative! Today, it's just way too easy for comics to make junk comedy with all the trash talking jokes full of swearing. 😊
I went to school with a kid named Peter Green, roll call always got laughs
What did Red Green say around 17:08-17:12?...
Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than open it and remove all doubt.
That Handyman Corner was a very tent situation.
Miss harold.Harold rocks Red rules.is harold at his job in town?Ed Frid needs meds.nervous wreck.call P.E.T.A. Dam beavers♡♡♡♡♡ courage ,courage
the ru paul one was hilarious
Duct Tape... the universal tool.
Excellent comedic timin6
9:03 Oh boy oh boy did this ever age like wine...
All right, men, bow your heads for the men’s prayer!
He’s a genius!
Some of his inventions would actually work...
I mean, Steve Smith *does* have an engineering degree
5:06 For those not familiar with this bit, it was a parody of the "I am Canadian" ad campaign that Molson was doing at the time. It was also a bit patriotic in a way for some Canadians.
Thanks. It was already funny, but that makes it a lot funnier.
Winston Rothchild is hot, and Mike is so funny and adorable!😄
Best shoe ever
Dalton's wife is having an affair
with a woman no less...
Ouch! LMFAO! Steve's great Jabbing at Big Government and "Free Trade" deals! Yes Sir Hit that nail square on the head!!! 😂😂😂 Sad, But True! Like we in the US are always granting these 2nd and 3rd world countries/nations or people's "freedom and democracy" weather or not they wanted it or not! Declaration of Wars Or NOT! SMFH! Definitely not a liberal, but this is A big one I have to say I actually agree with! ❤😊❤
As a kid, my idea for a rain gutter/leaves trough was just afix fine wire mesh on top. No leaves go in. Water goes in and flows down. Any grime or dirt coming off the roof or blowing in through the mesh probably just flow down with the water. If not just spray it up.
Less cleaning either way.
They have gutters like that. They also have a gutter free system. Basically a length of sheet metal that goes up under the shingles with a curled down edge
😂 Ed had the best lines. Loved his definition of gnawing! Also the nickle not that proud.
Be polite about it, don’t say it out loud! 😁
Imagine telling that Rupaul joke in 2019😁
Bradley Selk she would be fine with it considering she’s a drag queen and is proud of it and is happily black
The ones offended by it are neither drag queens nor black...
@@bostonrailfan2427
Those other people are the ones I'm talking about.
To many people who need their 15 minutes of internet fame now days it's almost dangerous to have a sense of humor.
I mean, RuPaul got in trouble for saying "drag queen" a few years ago. If *anyone* is allowed to say drag queen, it's RuPaul
That's better than climbing a ladder, much safer, and faster, almost enjoyable.
Lots of Ed Frid in this one. 👍👍
if you have hot water, why do you need a heater ?
9:09 im not sure if the following line has aged poorly or aged well.... im not sure pulling a fire alarm is a "funny prank."
Bravery kills, we don't encourage that.
5:06 one of the most epic commercials about sewage services
I know you meant show, lol. It's not like this is Ed Sullivan or anything.
i tell my wife when i slurp or burp that its not bad manners, just good food.
Dalton's house during the day or his auntie's house. It's better seeing at night.
5:27 JUMPSCARE ALERT!
Johnny Hall sad part? It’s 2020 and huge hornets have hit the continent
13:16 Oh, Lord! It's Ranger Gord!
At 1:50 was that a special guest appearance by Nicolas cage?
winston doing his ...."i am canadian" commercial
I WANT BILL!
OK, where's the other guy?
Always a great show!

Finding these older shows on Utube makes tv worth watching! Now someone please upload the original Paul Hogan show- I crack up just thinking about his exercise skits.
