DECEMBER 2020, After this tough year, I wanted so much to just take the entire month of December off, but I talked myself out of it and we are just taking it easy. We start our day out with Devotions, Reading, move on to Gather Round homeschool Christmas Unit study. We sprinkle in math whether it be baking or a worksheet, time or travel. We don't get to everything everyday, if at all. Really focusing on character building and reading. Soaking up time with the kiddos and remembering what Christmas is all about. I share one Christmas book here, but we have a few others on our shelves from years past.
You don't have to keep digging in and going gung-howe all year long, you can take a break, its fine! Especially during Advent and Christmas!
