We vertical till and strip till here in central North Dakota we run a Salford coulter disc over our bean stubble in the fall and strip till our wheat stubble with a 16 shank John Deere strip till
Friendly advice, back your implement up to you pressure washer and lower you wings.then blow the crap off of you grease fittings and tire valves. You can also blow off the oil on hydraulic lines to check for leaked and clean areas for cracks. I usually just have to clean off grease fittings so I don't have to worry about pushing dirt into the bearings. It seem looked a lot of work, but it actually speeds you up.
Love every minute of this. Big thanks.
Thank you so much Peter!
Started workin ground tonight here in Northern Indiana still pretty wet and looks like lots of rain in the forecast the next 7 days
Wonder why they don’t sell a patch to recalibrate?
Beautiful farm!
I have a landoll 875 tilloll hit it in the spring and plant we try to get the chiseling done in fall also if we can weather permitting
Nice! Thanks for the info!
We do a little of everything depends on the soil and what crop is going to be planted.
Nice, that makes sense! What type of crops do you farm?
We raise wheat, soybeans, corn, popcorn, market fresh green beans.
Yeah that makes sense, that's a good variety of crops where you probably need different tillage practices
Great video! You finished spreading manure and I haven’t started! I love the challenger and keep up the good work!
Thanks Noah! More good stuff coming!
I believe you can caliber the track tension in the screen settings we do all of ur track tension in our shop
I'll have to look into that, I don't think we have ever done that. How do you change the tension if you ever needed
We used a a hydraulic line that made to do that and turned the wheel
