"If you're having a craving, FAT is a great option!" Wow! I never in my life thought I would hear AND AGREE WITH those words! As a carb addict for 6 decades, I'm just two weeks into my keto life, and FEEL FANTASTIC! It's amazing! I've gone searching for ways to increase fat in my diet, to balance my macros. I love your video, the content, and your style! I'm subscribing!
Kristie I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your videos!!! You have taught me so much. I've been keto for about a year now and just found your channel about two weeks ago. I've since then watched soooooo many of your informative videos and have learned so much that I didn't know!!!! Thank you for your time and dedication that you put into your videos!!!
Mmmm just try to be consistent on eating. Biggest thing that helped me is seeing recipes so I'm not eating the same stuff over and over and try to be active as possible I go to the gym about 5 days a week sometimes 6
I made my first fat bomb yesterday -- before I saw your video. WHat worked well for mixing was just mixing it well together whilst still solid with electric hand-held beaters and then melting in microwave After everything is already mixed. Way easier. Even the Splenda wasn't grainy. Thanks for the great recipes!
I have always made a simple coconut oil and peanut butter fatbomb with a couple of TB of Torani SF syrup...never thought to add a little salt to it. Tried it last night and it turned out wonderful! I like to use silocone molds for mine...they just pop right on out and look so fancy!
I am new to keto going pretty good ,made peanut butter so gooooood ! going to have hard time sharing.Have been watching your videos you are so realistic it makes it easier for me when i'm not to sure thank you even my husband watches .your recipes are delicious which makes it easier to keep everyone on board. So again thank you for all you do you don't know what it does for my family to be able to watch you and Gracie we love her she is so fun , so grateful
Great video, love the recipes. I poured my liquid into a cleaned syrup bottle with a squeeze spout. A lot less mess for me. I tend to wear the badge of "messy Bessy" in my house. 😁
I love watching you and Grace together! She is adorable, just like you. LOL I am on my way to the kitchen to make these. My husband is going to be so excited. He asked why I had stopped making fat bombs, I think I was just burned out on the same old recipes.
Hi Kristie, thank you for your video. This is my first time making these and I would love to see the savory and the one about the sweeteners. There is a lot of those in the market with no carbs but they are very bad for you. I am interested on seeing those. Question for this particular video, how much time for the microwave? Thanks!
Love your video! I have a tip that helps me, I put Truvia (Stevia) in my Ninja an whirl it for a few and I turns it into basically "powdered sugar" that will dissolve into anything :) I keep some in a jar for whenever I want tea or iced coffee, but it works great in fat bombs too!
Oh my goodness those look delicious. My husband is a sweet freak so I think your recipes may be the answer to helping him. I am so thankful that I ran across your channel
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU. I have a gastric band which I lost and regained 45kg. I have been doing fasting with Keto, and your recipes are the first time I can get adequate calories in, without feeling sick. I just ate a bomb lunch. which worked out to about 800 calories, whereas before eating low fat I could only get a couple hundred in, and was constantly grazing. 5kg down in a couple weeks with your recipes doing a 16-8 IF program. (16 hours fasting, 8 hour eating window)
Uuuuummmm these look great. I will try the Chocolate ones with Raspberry flavoring rather than peppermint - I get sick on peppermint, but love raspberry with chocolate. Can't wait to try them all. Thanks so much.
I ABSOLUTELY love your videos. I credit your video entitled "My Failures" your journey of how you embarked upon using the Ketogenic diet as a way of life, as getting me through my first day OFF of all carbs, in at least 3 months. One day a time, right?? I feel better already. I forgot that NOTHING taste as good as living a KETOGENIC diet feels. You got yourself a NEW subscriber.
Those fat bombs look so delicious. What yummy flavors. I would put a sheet of parchment paper on the bottom and up the sides of the glass pan before pouring in the mixture. Then lift the paper and the set-up mixture out of the pan. It will be much easier to cut the squares that way and you probably won't even need to wash the pan.
I really enjoy watching your videos. I love that you and Grace spend time together making recipes. Reminds me of me and my Mom when I was growing up. She is very blessed to have such a sweet Mom.
Wow, this was amazing! Really enjoyed seeing them after they's soft set too and seeing you and your daughter trying them. Thanks for the time and effort you put in to these videos Kristie!
I've been on Keto since Feb. 2021 and so many things have improved, my Type 2 is down to safe numbers, I've lost all the weight I needed to, and I love the foods I eat now. I'm learning to make fat-bombs because I so have an issue with getting in my 70% or 75% fats. I am only going to eat fat-bombs as a dessert with a meal, as I want to get in my fasting hours. I want to stay full and fat-bombs are said to help with in between meal hunger. I didn't snack my first few months, but i had that Keto flu feeling the first month. Nothing have I done in my life has had a more positive effect on my health than Keto!! It doesn't happen overnight, and it is not for people who aren't truly willing to work hard, with no excuses. I can't guarantee it will work for you, but give it a try :)
Hi! Recipes look so yummy! I'm new to keto, and I'm allergic to milk. I noticed you said you don't normally use dairy, but all three recipes used butter. Do you have a suggestion for a butter substitute? TIA! :)
You’ve helped me get over my fear of making substitutions in the recipes. I was so frustrated every time I went to make a recipe and I didn’t have the exact same kind of sweetner, or same type of fat, etc., but you’ve given me confidence to switch it up and try some other substitutes!
I can't thank you enough for all the help your videos have given me on my low carb journey. Keep it up! These fat bombs are delicious and helping me meet the fat macro I've been having so much trouble reaching. 😀
a small shim under the front legs of your microwave will stop the door from swinging open and it's free to try. A few pieces of water bottle plastic cut into circles or rectangles (according to your micro feet shape) works well and can be changed out in a jiffy. Anyway, it's a lot cheaper than leveling that counter system... hope that helps. I enjoy you. Thank you for kindly sharing
OMG! I m in love with these! I'm somewhat of a sweet aholic. N these save me! I have 2 be careful because I had Gastric bypass surgery b4 n 2 much fat at 1 time will wreck havoc on me! If I can eat these I feel confident I can stay on track! Thanks for all the great videos!!!
Hey there, just what i was looking for, great video. I also like that you talk through all of the ingridients too. There were a few questions I had that you answered in the video around sweetners, carbs in coco powder etc. Also massive points for the bit about a zombie apocolypse then switching back into the "and these are the little gingerbread men" brilliant lol.. great video. Subscribed AAAAAA
LOVE watching you and lil Grace in the kitchen! Your BOTH so sweet and nice! Great recipes! I'm having a ball trying ALL out. Just made ALL 3!cant wait til their chilled solid n ready to eat😜 Make us a Bullet proof coffee video pleeeeze😁and give us your Pinterest info!
Omg these look soooo good i love your videos. They are so soothing. I have never loved cooking and I have already been trying Keto recipes on since I started three weeks ago! I can't wait to try fat bombs. I am just worried about sweeteners. I have pcos and my weight loss is at a snails pace no matter what I try so I am afraid to make it even slower with sweeteners. I have erythritol and stevia but I haven't used them yet. I'm so nervous about it. Also, I heard you say you liked Dairy but it makes you stall. I have been eating it and I'm wondering if it makes me stall too. I have been in denial and not ready to let it go. Lol could you talk more about that or point me to a video where you talk about it? Again awesome videos. I just subscribed.
First time making fat bombs and week two of WOE. I just have a quick question on the one with cream cheese. my batch was not thick and creamy like yours, mine was liquidy and chuncky even after blending. What could have happened? I put them in a pan in freezer and will see how they taste later.
Kristie, I made the orange cream Fat bombs and they are terrific! Is there a substitute for cocoa butter in the chocolate Bombs? If not, I am only about an hour away from you in NC. Is there a place local to buy it instead of Amazon? Thanks! Ann
What a great video! Thank you ❤ I notice this was published 7 years ago (hence all of the new sweeteners not addressed). Would you consider doing an update with all the popular sweeteners like Swerve, Allulose, Monk sweetener? Thank you🎉
I just started following you and I am loving your videos! Keep up the awesome work Kristie! Edit: I just went to Wal-Mart and got the supplies to make these. Wal-Mart didn't have Blueberry extract (substitute for Orange, since I don't like Orange), but they had Pumpkin Pie Spice extract...I hope it turns out. I also found the "condiment cups" in the birthday party section.
Jennie ~ I know this post is from 4 years ago, but if you wanna make coconut butter, put unsweetened coconut flakes in your food processor & pulverize it until it's butter, just like you would do with peanuts or almonds. Hope this helps! 😊
Oh my goodness...I didn't realize dairy makes you stall. I've been stalled for 2 months now.... but I did add dairy. I'm gonna try cutting it out. Thank you for the recipes and the insight.
There's a lot of sweetners in here. I'm at about 15g carbs a day, and I have gotten SO sensitive to anything even resembling "sweet". I had a can of flavored (unsweetened) mineral water the other day, and I couldn't finish it. The taste was overwhelming. So while this sounds delicious, I'm afraid to try it. How do you respond, insulin-wise, to this? Can you handle it well?
I’m allergic to coconut but these sound like a great idea to jumpstart my keto journey. Any suggestions for coconut oil substitutes that would work in the recipes?
I have had some allergic reactions to raw coconut...I have not cooked with coconut oil. do you have any substitutions for coconut oil?? I see a lot of keto diets call for it.
What type of texture would you say these have? A fudge like texture? Also, It has to stay in the fridge until it's fully solid? How long would you say that would be? Could you put it in a cake pan? I don't own any glass dishes (college student)
I loved the video. Very soothing voice, it's nice listening to you. The clumsiness made me chuckle though. One question: how many of those chocolate can you safely have per day? don't know the Carb content if the batch.
Just verifying, you seem to use the word extract and oil interchangeably for your flavorings. Which are you using, extracts (can find in supermarket) or oils (flavoring oils like Lorann or essential oils like NOW?)? Trying to make sure I have the right thing. Thanks
thnx Kristie, they look great and im gonna be trying my hand at making 1 or all these Fat Bombs, Im new to Keto Diet and HAVE fallen off dueto late night cravings, i didnt understand the fat thing and was buying Turkey and Low fat items but since more research ive realized ive been going in the wrong direction, your Fat Bombers are gonna get me through the nights cause i work 3rd and try to eat late in the day to hopefully lastme through the nite til i get off, however that hasnt worked so well but something tells me these Fat Bombs will be my saving grace, thnx ill try to let you know how i adjust
I can't wait until my wife gets on board with me on the Keto life style! She's good at making deserts. I like cooking meats and vegetables. It would be nice to have some sweet foods from time, to time!
I had to quit waiting on my hubby, and pray. I did it on my own for a year. Yes it was difficult because he wouldnt cook low carb and i would have to kindly reject his cooking. He has since had some weight related health issues and is on board. My point is....dont wait...these fat bomb recipes are so easy, you can make them, she will want to snack on them and be jealous that you have yummy treats....lol
I am very new to the keto lifestyle and I want to try fat bombs but I'd really like to know how they taste. Meaning does the peanut butter fat bomb just taste like peanut butter or do you taste the butter and coconut oil that's in there too? I am very picky and I've been scared to try the fat bombs but I need to get more fat in my diet.
The comment about your dog inspired quite a vivid image. I laughed so hard picturing it barking at waves of incoming zombies while you're showing us how to make fat bombs!
I just discovered you! I'm looking forward to your savory fat bombs bc I'm sensitive to artificial sweeteners. I'm also sensitive to dairy so I appreciate the minimal dairy options. Have you tried making fat bombs with Ghee instead of butter? Ghee is much better for me bc the milk solids have been removed. Also do you have a recommended brand or model for your immersion blender? Thanks!
Mmmm, I also just made the almond butter one, but I used 1 tbs of stevia powder! Perfectly delicious! I'm thinking of doubling or tripling the recipe and using the 9x13 glass pan to have enough to share with my friends at work! I've lost 18 lbs in 2+ months on keto, and they want to loose also, so I'm (luring hehehe) them in- slowly with awesome tasting recipes to show them it's very easy to change to good habits and change your life!!! Im still learning keto, and Ive been stuck at 18lbs for 2 weeks now, (but not gaining either yay), so I am learning more about macros and fat/protein/carb ratios- I think that is what's stalling me - my ratios are not right, is there an easier way to fix it or should I start at the beginning again? I would be grateful for any help or suggestions! Thank you and Grace in advance and thank you for your videos! You make it look easy! 😊👍🏻
Kristie I pulverize my swerve sweetner in coffee grinder and makes it a beautiful powder exactly like powdered sugar/confectioners consistency...I'm sure you could do same with Sukrin? Love your videos
+Deborah Fore You can! I used to do the same before I started using Sukrin Melis. Nearly any granulated sweetener can be pulverized into a powdered consistency. Thanks for making that point.
Splenda is bad? Oh no. Its the only sweetener I like. Are you saying liqud sucralose is ok but not powdered/granulated? Im trying to get all of this info down pat so I might possibly be successful this time lol. You mentioned that dairy "stalls" you. By that you mean takes you out of ketosis? If yes- you dont lose weoght, body inflammation resumes? Those type of issues? Does that iclude cheese? You use alot of cheese in the recipes you share. So maybe limit the amount of cheese used while in restricted phase then more can be used during maintenance? Thanks Kristie-Im trying to learn all I can. I appreciate any advice.
+Sherri Star Yes, pure sucralose doesn't have maltodextrin like Splenda. It doesn't seem to bother me. As for dairy, yes, I have a lot of dairy in many recipes. I've been trying to get away from that more and more. The recipe for Chinese has no dairy and the carnitas and carne asada can all be made without dairy.
Hi Kristie, I made some orange fat bombs yesterday just to try them out, they tasted ok apart from tasting a bit 'oily' and left a 'greasy' feel in my mouth if you know what I mean? That was after I had taken them out the fridge before freezing, I'm not sure if it was down to the coconut oil? My partner hated it lol, did you find you had that oily taste as I don't know what I did wrong, is there a difference in what coconut oil you use, I used 100% natural raw virgin which is suitable for cooking? I haven't yet tried any from the ones I put in the freezer incase they taste the same! and I'm also scared to make the other flavours incase they turn out same, any advice? Thanks, Susan :) p.s. I did not put mine in the microwave, I mixed it all really well with a hand blender, also the 2nd recipe, peppermint bomb, you added coconut butter in with the coconut oil and butter but it's not mentioned in your recipe items, is this necessary as I don't think we get coconut butter/manna here? Sorry for the q's, but I'm a little bit confused!
It will taste fatty because it it fat! lol! The dairy from the cream cheese may be the taste/ flavor that you don't like. I'll double check the recipe. Coconut butter helps give it a creamy texture. I hope that I didn't omit it from the written recipe!
I could taste the coconut oil ( which I don't mind) but didn't like the fatty sensation lol I didn't see coconut butter mentioned in the 1st recipe but it is listed in the peppermint one? What can I use if we cant get coconut butter? Also is it necessary to microwave the ingredients? Thanks :)
Here in the UK coconut butter is called creamed coconut (not coconut cream), readily available in most supermarkets for approx £1-£2, it's 100% coconut, you can get coconut butter from health food shops or amazon UK but it costs approx £10 a jar.
Hi Claire, thanks for telling me that, I would never have known that, I must look for it in my local supermarkets :) I did look on Amazon and the price put me off, for all the time I would use it, so thanks again, much appreciated :)
Love your dessert recipes (I haven't watched any others yet)! Do you have a web site with the recipes available to print or copy so that they paste correctly?
Thank you , going to make these. Good to give the names of the sweeteners, links where you buy them if on line... and molds links ..awesome !! I have been using Pyure which is good, part Stevia and part Erythritol .. Also sometimes just make a chocolate syrup with your sweetener, cocoa and butter or coconut oil to dip the peanut butter fat bomb in if you want the Reeses cup taste.
I’ve learned after doing keto and dabbling in carnivore for a bit that going low fat to get rid of your hips doesn’t work for everyone and I’m paying the price for it. I have started doing higher fat again and the scale started moving again and I feel much much better
In Poland they have rendered pork fat "Smalez" basically looks like white crisco with fried bacon in it. You spread it over bread and top with sliced polish-pickles. It is amazing. This might have been the original fat-bomb/survival food.
I just mixed up the orange recipe and it's very, very runny; not creamy like yours. I used coconut "oil" like the recipe says. Should it be the coconut "butter/mana". My bowl is sitting in the fridge right now. I'm thinking if it gets cooler it will be thicker when I mix it. It's also separating terribly, almost like the cream cheese is curdled. Do I just need to mix it more? Please let me what I should do. I really want them to look and taste like yours!
Update: I just took the bowl of orange cream out of the fridge after 10-15 minutes and used the immersion blender and it looks JUST LIKE YOURS :)! So maybe I'd overheated it to start with or something. No separating. It looks great! Just mixed up the peppermint patty. Not so much heat. Still very runny. So it's been relegated to the fridge for a bit. I expect it will work out well too. Thanks for these, Kristi. My husband and I are new to Keto and I have loved watching your videos; the very helpful information AND that you present in such a genuine way. It's like you're in my kitchen.
Hello Kristie, I watched your video about your journey, and yes I cried with you ! Just a question I am not through this video yet, (2nd one of yours I am watching) is why dont you have them because they stall? You mean that they stop you from loosing weight? I am struggling, I have done everything possible since may this year and I have hardly lost anything. Its so disappointing when I know others are loosing and I am not. Hope to hear from you soon
"If you're having a craving, FAT is a great option!" Wow! I never in my life thought I would hear AND AGREE WITH those words! Matthew Hurdle wow that great! Congrats...makes me want to switch to keto even more...thanks for sharing your success.
Matthew Hurdle congrats. Keep up the great work. I’m trying it now. Glad you had success.
Matthew Hurdle how are you doing now?
Week 2 of Keto and I am sure glad to learn how to make these. Excited! Grace is a blessing isn't she?
Grandma Liz's Kisses what do you eat for lunch or dinner. I have breakfast down pat

Thanks!
My husband and I love your videos, recipes, and tips!!! Thank you so much!
Love your video! I have a tip that helps me, I put Truvia (Stevia) in my Ninja an whirl it for a few and I turns it into basically "powdered sugar" that will dissolve into anything :) I keep some in a jar for whenever I want tea or iced coffee, but it works great in fat bombs too!
yes!! that does work well.
thank you
I put it in my coffee grinder. It turns into powder in a few seconds.
Just an FYI, Sukrin is made in Denmark and Flor Melis is what they call confectionery sugar. So when you see Melis it will mean is powdered.
Oh my goodness those look delicious. My husband is a sweet freak so I think your recipes may be the answer to helping him. I am so thankful that I ran across your channel
I agree, video on sweeteners!!! Girl, you have almost 10,000 subscribers now! Congratulations! You do a great job! Thanks!
thank you! yes, so excited to be at 10,000. How did that happen? really excited to see folks getting healthier and happier.
+skringen yes!!! there is ample scientific evidence!

I suggest looking into Enzymes, specifically, Digestive and Systemic Enzymes. It'll help with your break down of the fats, and other such things.
Yes, I worry about getting sick from too much fat at once too.

I notice this was published 7 years ago (hence all of the new sweeteners not addressed).
I also found the "condiment cups" in the birthday party section.
really? the birthday party section? it's usually with the zip lock bags and such at our store. and yes, i order the blueberry extract from Amazon
+James Crouch And thanks for subscribing!
do you count calories at all?? and how many of them do u eat per day?
can you put some links up for all the different stevia's you use.. and how to find the coconut butter
thanks for sharing
Jennie ~ I know this post is from 4 years ago, but if you wanna make coconut butter, put unsweetened coconut flakes in your food processor & pulverize it until it's butter, just like you would do with peanuts or almonds. Hope this helps! 😊
Love your videos, always look forward to the next one. Thank you so much...
these sound so great and a nice compromise. i still get treats for christmas! ive been carniore since april!
GREAT video Kristie! We sure appreciate all you do for low carb! Thanks! ~Marge
+Marge Burkell And we all appreciate all that YOU do!
TY Cooking Keto with Kristie ! That means a lot coming from you!
is that aromatherapy peppermint oil youre using? I think food grade would be better
What do you use if you can't find coconut butter (except in lotion) or coconut manna? Is there a substitute?
Very nice recipes! Look so yummy! Can you please give the amazon link for the molds? I'd like to try them. Thanks!
Speaking of liquid Splenda, do you buy it from Sweetzfree? They make the best!!
Thanks
I love your videos; very informative. Please add the link to the Amazon vendor for the candy molds. I am interested in purchasing molds.
thnx Kristie, they look great and im gonna be trying my hand at making 1 or all these Fat Bombs, Im new to Keto Diet and HAVE fallen off dueto late night cravings, i didnt understand the fat thing and was buying Turkey and Low fat items but since more research ive realized ive been going in the wrong direction, your Fat Bombers are gonna get me through the nights cause i work 3rd and try to eat late in the day to hopefully lastme through the nite til i get off, however that hasnt worked so well but something tells me these Fat Bombs will be my saving grace, thnx ill try to let you know how i adjust
i really enjoy learning from you
Grace is adorable!Very informative and fun Thanks!
Hey not sure if you will see this but for the extract does it have to be pure extract or can you use imitation extract?
I can't wait until my wife gets on board with me on the Keto life style! She's good at making deserts. I like cooking meats and vegetables. It would be nice to have some sweet foods from time, to time!
I had to quit waiting on my hubby, and pray. I did it on my own for a year. Yes it was difficult because he wouldnt cook low carb and i would have to kindly reject his cooking. He has since had some weight related health issues and is on board. My point is....dont wait...these fat bomb recipes are so easy, you can make them, she will want to snack on them and be jealous that you have yummy treats....lol
These are great, I used a turkey baster to get it into the middle molds.
Thank you for your time and great recipes....love them ....where is the peppermint patty??? Yummmmm....they all look great
These are fantastic! Thank you for sharing. Grace is the best!!!
Love you and Grace!! It inspires me and my daughter!!
Great recipes thank you for sharing! When you say some things make you stall, are you meaning weight loss?
I am very new to the keto lifestyle and I want to try fat bombs but I'd really like to know how they taste. Meaning does the peanut butter fat bomb just taste like peanut butter or do you taste the butter and coconut oil that's in there too? I am very picky and I've been scared to try the fat bombs but I need to get more fat in my diet.
what type of liquid sweetner do you suggest with no after taste?
So good looking!! I can’t wait to try them,,,
The comment about your dog inspired quite a vivid image.
Thanks!
What kind of immersion blender do you have?? Trying to find one with a nylon or silicone head or guard for my nonstick cookware.
The best way to lure them in is to show them how amazing the food it! lol!
I made these and my hubs ate them all...geez!!! Thank you for your recipes!!
I also want to reach up and close your microwave door. Hahaha!!!
lol!! at least it's "good" for him!!!
Thank you so much for your videos! So many great ideas.
I love your accent! You have been a great help, I am a newbie to the ketogenic diet.
Hi Susan, your welcome, happy to help. Good luck!
So Nice to se your family helping out
Would lactose free cream cheese have less of a stalling effect?
Love your dessert recipes (I haven't watched any others yet)! Do you have a web site with the recipes available to print or copy so that they paste correctly?
Thank you , going to make these. Good to give the names of the sweeteners, links where you buy them if on line... and molds links ..awesome !! I have been using Pyure which is good, part Stevia and part Erythritol .. Also sometimes just make a chocolate syrup with your sweetener, cocoa and butter or coconut oil to dip the peanut butter fat bomb in if you want the Reeses cup taste.
yum, thank you for those two dairy free recipes. the cream cheese based ones I have made in the past were just too high in carbs and too soft.
Do you count net carbs or total carbs? The unsweetened coco powder that I buy is 0 net grams of carbs.
Add a little unflavored gelatin. It'll stay hardened in room temperature. It can be cut into cubes and taken anywhere without the worry of melting.
Looks great! Has anyone figured macros for the full recipes? I will divide depending on serving size. THANKS!
great idea to put the empty coconut jar under the keurig!
hello all, i'm very new to this idea, what about the powdered sugar, carbs or not?
I’ve learned after doing keto and dabbling in carnivore for a bit that going low fat to get rid of your hips doesn’t work for everyone and I’m paying the price for it. I have started doing higher fat again and the scale started moving again and I feel much much better
You can put pennies under the front of your microwave to level it.
Love my immersion blender. It's so easy to use and to clean up. You'll get used to it :-)
In Poland they have rendered pork fat "Smalez" basically looks like white crisco with fried bacon in it.
Thanks for the update. Mine have separated so I'll thaw them and blitz them again.
I'm excited for the sweetener video! Whats in the melis? I have confectioner swerve but erithritol is gross :(
it's a confectioner's version. I dislike the cooling effect too. adding stevia or liquid sucralose really helps it.
