These are AWESOME! So much easier and much, much quicker than making a regular cheesecake, and then having to refrigerate it overnight before it’s really ready to eat! Also, I can double the batch, divide it in half, and create 2 different flavors-🍋for me,🍓for my hubby-and then we’re both thrilled. Am I glad I happened on this channel. I was looking for another lemon fat bomb recipe but this looked easier so I just made this. I changed it though to 4 tbsp of erythritol, added juice/zest of 1 lemon large. I melted butter and cream cheese in microwave, and threw everything in my nutribullet to mix. Poured into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Threw in fridge. Once more hard I’ll cut into squares. I tasted it before and it tastes wonderful, lemony enough for me. Thank you!
Love watching you two making your recipes. We changed over to Keto for Health and weight reasons. We started Keto after being Vegan for 6 years... The main reason why we changed over was the health benefits. I had a heart attack at year 6 of a vegan diet, and I was able to cure my heart and vessels, and arteries after changing over to the keto diet.

Which to me is that keto is a super easy lifestyle to maintain, easy to start and stick with.
I'm thinking about starting a Keto diet, and honestly I think I might not do it because people think you have to cut out meats and fish to do the keto diet when that's not true at all.

The cream cheese-butter combo is a good base for many different fat bombs. What about upping the lemon by using lemon extract instead of vanilla? What about mixing in or coating the outside with shredded coconut?
if im eating 200g of protein what fat intake would i need to be in ketosis / burn body fat? i do 3 crossfit workouts a week. worried if i drop my protein, ill lose muscle mass?
an idea for walnuts here is to make a "crust" to sit the bombs on. Fine grind the walnuts, mix in a little melted butter. Pack into tiny round mold tray. Cheesecake crust! I'm going to try it with a scattering of instant coffee powder or Vietnamese cinnamon ground with the nuts.

I feel English walnuts are equal to pecans, black walnuts on the other hand are much more up front with their flavor, and the better walnut choice IMO.
My only complaint is that these videos always use erythritol. It gives me a severe laxative effect. I'm assuming you can just replace it with stevia? But obviously, it won't have the same volume and texture. Probably in some recipes it's ok for the swap, others, not so much.

I don’t eat dairy because of lactose intolerance. But I can eat Parmesan, Cheddar, cream cheese and sour cream that have almost no or little sugar/lactose. How 'bout protein bombs (besides chunks of lean meat lol). Surely getting enough protein is harder than getting enough fat. especially when we already have so much fat stored on our bodies.
Seems to me that the people that are anti fat bomb are the ones who are promoting high protein P/E? Or carnivore. Which is not a ketogenic diet, by the way. Keto is low carb, moderate protein and high fat. In my opinion, there is no way I could do the level of fat required without doing fat bombs. Everything else seems to go with protein, and then you end up with too many grams of protein.
Because if you're trying to burn fat and you keep eating an excess amount of fat, then your body just burns the fat that you just ate first, not the fat stored on your body that you're trying to get rid of.

And dietary fat is the only thing you can eat that will not raise insulin, unlike carbs and protein. Excess protein will be converted into sugar via gluconeogenesis and raise insulin. Thereby telling the body to store fat, not burn it, when you are following a high protein diet instead of the moderate amount recommended in a true ketogenic diet. In addition, when intermittent fasting is practiced along with the keto diet, then autophagy will break down and reconstruct protein from remnants left behind during the clean up. The "protein sparing fast" concept is pure baloney.

Agreed, I think of walnuts as being more savory too while pecans are more sweet
Surprisingly, when you soak the walnuts over night then dehydrated to preserve them, walnuts lose the bitterness and are really sweet!

I like to think of fat bombs as a way to get fatter considering since they're so easy to overeat. so no, not an optimal weightloss strategy.
