Wow. So glad to hear other people having my issue. I did just today order that battery and the tender from antigravity site. I hope it solves my not starting issues.
I still have the original stock battery in my 2021 PAmS. The bike starts 1st time every time (after the starter clutch gear was replaced), even like 2 weeks of not starting and not on tender. Your bike and others as well have a slow electrical leak somewhere but of course, no dealer or HD HO will authorise that amount of time to find and fix the issue. Glad you found a work-around solution.
Glad to hear you have had great success with your 2021! I think the slow leak has to do with the alarm system. If I kept the PAS in tranport mode, I'd have some good luck keeping a charge, but that defeats the alarm when parked in public lots, lol. I straightened the negative cable terminal end and slightly bent positive cable end to a 45° and used 1 brass battery spacer on the negative cable side due to it being a top mount battery, I have a video on my UA-cam channel of starting it and explaining it a little, I did not make a install video though 😕
Nice video. I did the same on my 2022 about a year & half ago. I have always kept my Harley’s on battery tenders so I bought the same one you did. I’ve never used it and have not had any starting issues. I am surprised Harley didn’t suggest this years ago.

Bought a 22 PA with 9 codes on it. Brought it home and installed a lithium. Codes cleared, no tender needed, no more codes. Stop depending on HD to solve these issues. Just sayin'

When you removed the OEM battery and installed the new lithium ion battery, did you need to “reset” any of the electronics? Are the software settings lost?
I made sure to pull the main fuse before starting the project. Fortunately, I did not have to reset any of the electronics when I installed the new battery. The whole project took about half an hour.
Thanks for watching! Absolutely, yes, I disconnected the main fuse to swap the battery. You don't want to spark any components while connecting the terminals to the new battery.
Thanks for watching. I have not noticed any voltage surge or inconsistency with the idle. H-D replaced the fuel system (under warranty) as it was getting very noisy before the battery replacement. As soon as I installed the Anti-Gravity, the fuel pump screamed even lowder when turning the starter to Run. Thankfully, H-D replaced the fuel system after I put in the new battery. The PAS runs great, and I haven't thrown a code since the battery upgrade. Good luck 👍🏻
With the remote restart, would this work using the battery tender plug under the seat?? Or do you all have separate battery tender connectors on your batteries
Appreciate the info and video. Any thoughts on lithium in cooler climates up here in northern Canada (say low as 5 c) ? Also, can you still use factory harness for charging? My 22 came with the HD smart charger which has lithium mode so I assume I can use it.
You're welcome. I was up in the West Virginia mountains in May this year, and the temps did make it down to 32 F. The PAS started and ran just fine at cold start and riding around the area. We'll see if we get a freeze here in Florida this year to do some more testing on that. Hopefully, I'll make it back to the dragon this fall and could hit some freezing temps there, too. Yes, you can use the factory harness. Putting the HD smart charger in lithium mode should do the trick to charge the battery. Plus, you will need to tell the HD service people that you have a lithium battery so they will use the right charger when servicing your PAS.
Thank You. Did you put the lipo in under warranty? I have horrible battery issues. I swear I have a parasite. Same bike. Same Year. Don't want to mess with it b/c it is under warranty but dealer isn't doing shi*.
My dealer tried the best they could in finding an issue with the stock battery, but they couldn't get it to fail. H-D wasn't going to replace the stock battery without it failing. So I dropped the lithium battery in myself. For my PAS, it fixed every issue I was having and has not thrown a code since. And it starts every time. The cranking power of the stock battery just couldn't produce enough power to keep all of the system components alive while starting. Sometimes, the adaptive ride height would fail and not lower itself with the stock battery on board due to a bad startup. We have a Sportster S, and the stock battery works great for that bike. But the S doesn't have all of the system components the PAS has. Plus, I think my PAS was a display bike at the dealer (before I bought it), and the battery wasn't kept charged. All I can say is that it's working for me. Good luck to ya, and thanks for watching!

I saw one video claiming you need spacers between the post and wire lug due to the post being set back a bit and not flush with the side of the battery. I'm glad to hear it's working out for you. Exact same story from me.. Anti-gravity battery solved every problem my bike had. Installed in September of 22. Hasn't see a battery tender since.

I live over towards Tampa. No problems with the heat. I ride all year long...
What windshield clip on are you using?
I use the Touratech clip on.
My 2022 has the same problems with the battery.
