My daughter(21 months) LOVES to turn my radios on/off... I prefer my T-Pro... she prefers my TX-12. G'damn, such a dad hobby. Got into it shortly after she was born =P
All you need to do to adjust the stick tension is loosen a few of the allen screws around the gimbals. They come pretty tight from the factory, but it's easy to dial in.
I'm returning my Jumper and buying a Boxer. I found Jumper to be short on support. Look at their website and then look at Radiomasters website. No FAQ, no knowledge base, ect. I couldn't find any info on how to back up or find the current version of Edge TX on my radio. It wouldn't update to the latest version of ELRS via USB. So I couldn't put a bind phrase in it. Overall just a difficult UI to deal with.
You seem like your a good dad man. It's refreshing to see . You do alot of good for this Hobbie I will say. Uou got me my first beast of a quad I went from the et 15 king Kong to the diatone 3 to 4 cell little ripper I think it may have been called the rabbit? But you featured it on your channel and it prepared me for my 5 inch. Thx for everything you do man. Always like your videos.
Ive hade both radios, boxer is MUCH MORE durable, jumper t20 starts to do some strange noises, and have some cronical problem on main board, that happen to me and some other friends.
I'm looking forward to an in depth review and comments on how the T20 feels to fly as I'm seriously considering getting one of them. I already have a Jumper t-pro for traveling overseas where size matters but I think the T20 could be a lot nicer to fly with and still smaller than a full size. Please do a follow up Video Stu! 😉
I've been thinking about getting this radio as my first, I really like the Max Red version and I am trying to save up for it but it's going to take a while, I'm disabled and thought this might be a good hobby for me but it is expensive, I can save up about 100 dollars US a month, so after the radio it will take me at least 6 months to save up for the HDzero goggles so I guess that I'll be eating ramen noodles for a while. Do you have any recommendations for a sub 250 gram quad that I can build. I think it's best if I get the radio first and a sim so I can practice. There's nobody out here to help me, I live in my 1967 bus in the high desert of New Mexico USA. I've been watching UA-cam trying to learn
Hi Stew, Great video and difference between the Radiomaster and Jumper Radio's. I have been flying with the FRSKY Xlite V1 since you reviewed it years ago. I just purchased the Radiomaster Boxer and I love it. And yes I have it setup with the arm on the left, and the buzzer on the momentary switch. This way I have a extra switch for INAV RTH on my wing and 7in long range. 1975 analog ? I don't remember fpv in the 70s, unless you had a KODAK 110 selfwind. Thanks again for the video and information about this radio.
Good man helping get people into the hobby.

And you also talked me into getting my sky zones. Great buy man . I never heard of them before you and im happy with them . Until I can go digital.
Sweetest assistant and best review from Australia. 😊
I've been super happy with my Mambo. Simple screen nothing fancy, epic battery life.

After 6 years using my Qx7 replace it with the boxer. because it's the closest thing to the Qx7 l think it was the best radio ever made for FPV.
Your a good guy, Stew... well done sir! That was really nice of you.

Can you also do a review on some Stick ends? Those are recently discovered that gives you better performance if you find the right ones for you
I did not know Matty Healy flew fpv. This is cool.
I love my boxer. A folding antenna, a kickstand, and then it would be perfect
I've been thinking of buying the $4 folding antenna for the pocket and trying to mod it on my boxer. That would be the perfect controller for me.

That Hail Santa shirt is awesome :D
Stu! That was some good meet! Good day!
Yes it was!
She's adorable, good co-host!
She likes the lights on the radio. 😊
Это хорошо когда малыши помогают делать видео.
Giddy up!
Thumbs Up
Whats up with all the UA-camrs putting their children in frame for the purpose of charming the audience?
Either way, thanks for the video!
