My Heart Your Heart: How a Pacemaker is Recycled for Reimplantation Abroad

My Heart Your Heart is a project focused on recycling, or reconditioning, pacemakers to be reimplanted in patients abroad who have no other alternative for treatment.
The process of sending a reconditioned pacemaker overseas requires collaboration and partnership with many organizations. This video explains how a pacemakers goes from a funeral home anywhere in the United States back to Michigan and, eventually, into a patient in need.
